Hi,
Official is from RR team, two others are from devs using RR base and making their own modifications.
That's why they're named unofficials.

Hi all.
Just a speculative query, really. Does anyone know if there's any work underway to bring LineageOS to the Mini 2?
The [Lineage OS wiki](https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/) shows a good selection of HTC devices already have builds available. But, unfortunately, no mention of the Mini 2 yet.
Also, am I correct in my assumption that the LineageOS codebase is pretty much based on the latter CyanogenMod builds? (I'm presuming the LineageOS folks haven't started completely from scratch). If so, that sounds hopeful, as there are (in this very boutique!) CyanogenMod builds of Marshmallow for the Mini 2 --which means at least some of the work is already done.
The phone sadly wasn't very popular at launch and didn't even receive any official cm support apart from a few nightlies for cm11
But speaking of the cm13 unofficial port, the guy in charge of that is thinking of switching to Lineage OS source, so check out the link below to find out how to make that happen sooner ...

I'm currently running that unofficial CM13 on the Mini 2 and, while it's pretty stable, I did worry about it becoming "abandonware", what with the demise of CyanogenMod. I'd not visited that thread for a month or two now so wasn't aware a move to LineageOS was being discussed now.

CyanogenMod == LineageOS
No code changes are needed (ok not exactly, some file rename are required) but this is the same OS, same sources etc... Only a re-brand because of Steven Kondik Cyanog3n dismissal.
Why devs don't make aosp roms in this forum?I was browsing this forum and can't find a single aosp rom.Sorry if I sounded rude, I own a n9208

As for your request, samsung didnt release exynos sources, so it is really hard to make an aosp rom. And for my knowledge it doesnt worth it either.
Under original development, there's PixelOS and there you'll find a telegram group where u will b able to find Resurrection Remix as well. IDK about ur device but that is the direction u should go.....

Yeah I asked the dev of a few aosp roms in original development but no one seems to have the time to build a kernel for n9208

I thought maybe 8.5 was a typo. Not sure why it jumped from 8.0 to 8.5.
I'll add git repos if you have the links.

Bliss 10.0 Beta is highly buggy. Use AICP for now if you want a hands on 8.1.
I have terrible battery life with AICP 8.1. 1:30 screen time and the battery is at 15%. Anyone else with that problem?

Ambient display not working on AICP 13.1's latest build.
Having used AICP 13.1 I can say the battery life was terrible and there were some times when the UI felt like lagging. I suggest Liquid Remix 8.5 28/12/2017 out of them all. Good battery life for an Android 8 ROM plus it has lots of tweakings to do in the kernel and it doesn't feel as laggy.

is it normal that none of the oreo roms provide hardware acceleration on videos? they're always very pixelated. ive tried liquid rom aicp etc.
I'm facing an issue with Bliss 10.0 where either Setup Wizard and SystemUI keep crashing after booting into the OS. This occurs on a clean flash (with all partitions wiped). I'll try the latest AICP 13.1 build and report back.
Edit: This seems to be an issue with Gapps. I installed AICP without flashing Gapps.
Edit 2: Reinstalling Google Play Services from APKMirror fixed all issues with Gapps. Everything works perfectly.
Edit 3: Sound seems to be mysteriously broken! There is no audio from the speaker. I'm investigating the issue, and will report back.
Edit 4: Formatting /system and reflashing the ROM brought the audio back. I'm investigating what caused this to occur.

Using Liquid Remix 8.5, it's pretty stable and smooth, was thinking to switch to AICP 8.1 but after reading your post sticking with LR for now

It's a similar thread but different. And to be the most useful and visible, I decided it should have its own thread. I mean no disrespect.
Recent activity lock is not working for me on LR 8.5.
Also is there any way to change font? Anyone tried it on LR 8.5?
