Has anyone gotten multi-line to work successfully on another carrier (or unlocked) phone flashed over to T-Mobile? I started with an AT&T S8, and following the carrier change and flash instructions now have a phone that shows TMB/TMB/ATT. Wifi calling, VoLTE and even Video Calling work just fine, but multi-line refuses to appear. An hour of troubleshooting with T-Mobile got to the point where they realized my phone didn't have a T-Mobile IMEI and ended there.
Phone has been reset and even flashed back to an earlier version of the ROM and allowed to update OTA.
No success on multi-line. Has anyone figured this out?
Enable it on the mydigits website... i have a att S8plus on tmo firmware. its not the phone

Hi.
For those who don't know, Freedom Mobile (formerly Wind) is a T-Mobile equivalent network here in Canada, but until recently they launch a new LTE network and their site says I can use my N900A. I used their phone compatibility checker to confirm (see attachment)
However, I bought their sim to test, I get LTE data and works fast, but I can't make phone calls. It just sits there doing nothing and finally hangs. I checked the simcard on another phone and it works, so it's not the sim.
I'm using the lollipop OC1 firmware stock only. What could be the issue here? I appreciate any input.
EDIT:
My phone is unlocked (RegionLockAway) a while ago.
My *#2263# is set to Automatic.
Do calls work on the Bell, Telus, or Rogers network?
Hi. I'm new (and old) so apologies in advance for any faux pas. I couldn't find another thread with a problem like this, so I'm posting a new question.
Here's what happened:
I have been using Ting MVNO SIMs on two Galaxy S8 phones for about 18 months. Preparing for an overseas trip, I asked T-Mo to unlock the phones so I could use foreign SIMs.
T-Mo unlocked the phones, but now I can't get wi-fi calling to work on the Ting SIM. Tried a MintMobile and FreedomPop and the same thing, no option in the tools or phone app to activate wi-fi calling although it is activated at the MVNO and the E911 addresses are correct.
T-Mo says it's impossible that unlocking did that. Well, it happened. Ting doesn't have a clue about how/why it happened or how to fix. Samsung says it's the carrier's problem not theirs.
I factory re-set hoping it would restore the lock, but that didn't do anything. I don't get a signal at my home, so wi-fi calling is necessary. My next step is to buy new phones.
Ideas? Thanks!
I have knox tripped but completely stock SM-N960F/DS that has Verizon VoLTE working perfectly fine !!!
I have an international SM-N960F/DS from ebay a few months ago. I had to install custom rom to get it work with Verizon. Hence Knox tripped.
Today, because of other reason, I decided to flash a stock rom to it. I took N960FXXU3CSF9_N960FOXM3CSF9_XSP which is for Singapore, and flashed to it and turned it completed stock except for tripped Knox. Afterwards, got an OTA update via wifi.
I have a already activated Verizon Sim and a Google Fi data-only sim, and they somehow work fine with stock rom. Verizon sim had VoLTE option, and registered IMS. I can make phone calls, text etc. obviously, there is no wi-fil calling or video calling.
I did have problem right after setting up the phone to get the sim cards to grab on signal and/or get LTE data turned on. took sometime to get them working, but once LTE worked, the VoLTE worked all the time. I did setup the phone without sim, and then put sims in there. in order to get signal, I had to get the phone on in a strong signal area for 30 min or so, and had tried to move sim around different slots or put one sim in first etc. I don't even know what worked at the end, but after an hour or so of different tries, now both sim cards worked well, and I can make phone call and receive phone call via Verizon.
Maybe Samsang finally did something to CSC to allow VoLTE. but if this is true, quite significant, as international Note 9 now works without any modification in at least Verzion if you don't need wifi calling or video calling.
I don't have T-Mobile voice sim card, therefore, I can't get if VoLTE works T-Mobile or AT&T.
Hello all,
I have a T-Mobile variant of the S10. I desperately need wifi calling and the option is not there since I switched to Verizon (same T-Mobile variant S10). I'm assuming this is a software limitation and I need the Verizon bloatware. Anybody know if flashing Verizon will work? I'm assuming I just use Odin and the stock rom. Been awhile since I've messed with all this stuff. Is there a good tutorial to look at? Thanks for any help!
Flashing the Verizon firmware will probably do it, if it has wifi calling. I know the AT&T firmware has wifi calling because I am on it. You have to have a snapdragon though, flashing to an exynos variant won't work.
I notice that with AT&T phones, there are posts about flashing HOME_CSC for AT&T to U1 firmware to enable AT&T functions. Is this just for AT&T, since they don't make their U firmware publicly available? I was wondering how well it worked and if it worked on other firmwares. In my case, I use Xfinity, and either I can have U1 firmware with it's superior call screening but visual voicemail that doesn't work right, or flash the U firmware and get voicemail working and lose the call screening of the U1 firmware, and I was wondering if I could somehow get both working. I've also noticed that Xfinity started updating their voicemail app again that I could use, but from what I remember about that app a few years back, it was incredibly slow, and it also changes the voice mail box in a way that prevents the normal Voicemail app from working at all.
I ended up flashing my unlocked U1 with the ATT software since I had switched from Tmobile to ATT, and everything works correctly, the visual voicemail, wifi calling and I liked the looks of ATT data icons better, and I still get OTA updates.
I have an unlocked ATT device which I am using overseas, do you know if I can flash a U1 firmware to be able to get OTA updates to this device? Currently I'm not getting any.....
