Disappointed in 3t camera,
Great fast phone, but miss s7 camera I once had,
I also miss spen from my old note 4.
Should I stay, or buy a note 5

When you buy a note 5; you'll be disappointed in battery life. And you'll be missing battery life of 3t. Then 3T will be showed up on every display screen you look at like:

Mi MIX

You reckon i love my 3t but always disappointed with the camera,
I wish the Chinese could build a budget awesome camera phone.
First thing with phones for myself is camera.
I miss my s7 edge since switching to 3t,
Now oneplus have probs stopped supporting the 3t and focusing on the 5

You seem to be a noob around here aren't you. The 3t is the BEST phone! Has a great community, great battery life (better if you install custom kernels), smoothest OS, and the camera is descent. The front facing camera is one of the best out there btw. And that charging speed is BEAST.

Mi8 faulty AMOLED Display

Hello guys,
for about 1 month I bought a Mi8 in a german store and noticed, that the Screen has a banding/uniformity.
This was the reason I returned it back and bought a Note9, but the Mi8 is smaller, has better community.
Was I one of the only ones with the problem?

You can notice this, when you eg. open Spotify with low brightness in dark enviroment. the background is uneven ...
I have the same problem. I'm trying to get a refund bc i bought it last week but it really pissed my off
Meine es gibt no problemo at all...
mine's a bit different
Yep, my screen is experiencing pixel death at an ever increasing rate from the bottom right hand corner.
Gutted.

I'm sorry to hear this. Mine has no issues so far, and if it does develop any, I'm SOL as I live in the US. Issues with Samsung screens aren't unheard of, I remember reading about issues with the S9, take a look here:
https://www.valuewalk.com/2018/03/galaxy-s9-green-screen-purple-slow-camera-pink-line/
The Mi 8's display is made by none other than Samsung. Unfortunately it seems these past few years have not been the best for Samsung in terms of quality.
Same Here...
It is 2 months old.
Man now i hate my Mi 8 and want a new phone.
Amy recommend phones with NFC and Same Performance?
I Hope they take it back

Pixel vs. iPhone

I'm thinking of upgrading my phone and it's mainly used for business. For what I do some of the strengths I need are long battery life and the best possible camera. Would you recommend an iPhone X or Pixel 3 XL? I have posted a photk I recently took with a Pixel 1 to give you an idea of the quality of photo I need.
Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
To compare the camera you can watch this video and decide which one you like more
For the battery life, The google pixel 3 has a 2,915mAh battery vs the iPhone X with a 2716mAh so the Google Pixel would win by a little for the battery life.
Personally, I would choose the pixel mostly because of Android since I prefer android over IOS but the pixel 3 has a pretty big notch which kinda sucks so I would recommend waiting for the Pixel 4 if you choose to go with a pixel.
Pixel 3:

Pixel 4: (I think we all know who Google bought the screen from.)

The Pixel 3 does not have a notch. The Pixel 3 XL is the only Google phone with a notch (at the time of posting this).

That's true.
Build wise iphone is better and also the performance as everyone knows. Apps for android builds over kernel, It takes sometime to load it. But the Cmaera in Pixel is incredible than the iphone.

Best ROM for Mi 9T Pro With Most Features

Hi everyone,
As of now while I'm writing this, I'm on a Mi 9T Pro running on a custom ROM (Havos OS). The ROM is absolutely awesome and I've been using it for 2 years now.
But with my recent purchase of Mi True Wireless Earbuds 2, it seems there is an incompatibility which compromises the full features of my earbuds.
I cannot see how much battery is left for my case, left, and the right bud. It's just a single battery bar showing how much battery there is. I tried assistant Mi apps but it does not detect my earbuds as well, which I believe has something to do with the auto detection of Xiaomi ROMS of Xiaomi earbuds.
Can you guys suggest a good ROM aside from MIUI that has the same feature? You know, when you turn on the earbuds there's a popup on your phone with an animated icon of the earbuds asking you to pair with it and shows the charge of the case and buds. My current ROM doesn't have that. Thanks a bunch!

This is the only part I see, it's very restricting, I cannot even use the earbuds to its full capability.
I was hoping there is a custom ROM out there with this feature while at the same time with good performance and battery life.

Why don't you use the app that comes with the earbuds?

Question Does the Chinese variant have Wide colour gamut setting in display configuration?

Hi,
I currently have the OP 8 Pro which has pretty much the best looking screen on a mobile device I have owned to date.
I returned the Pixel 6 Pro because of Google's lack of customisation and the screen looked awful to me not to mention bugs and the crappy mono sounding audio in games.
My OP 8 Pro has wide colour gamut 8n the display settings and was curious to know if the OP 10 Pro has the same display settings going forward from the latest last few gens of OP devices?

Cool I'm guessing you'll be much happier with the 10 Pro than the pixel, I hate basic and the Pixels are about as basic as they cone even more so than Apple now.

Question How is the experience with Redmi Note 10 pro/Max in 2022?

Was waiting for Redmi note 11 series, but it seems I'll have to skip it as it's expensive. So planning to Redmi Note 10 pro/Max at the moment. But I've always heard two most common issues with it that is Heating issue and Buggy MIUI. So are the issue still present? Also are the issue so serious that we can skip the phone or is it just overrated? How is the Battery life holding?
I'm looking for an all rounder phone under 20000 and honestly can't find any phones as good as RN10pro except Moto G60, but I've skipped it as it is too tall and not wide.
Rn10 pro is just fine this year as it was the year before. I don't find myself wanting for better performance and I don't see myself upgrading anytime soon, or until the phone stops working at least. The performance is ample and the phone heats as much as every other phone out there.
The rn11 is a slight upgrade over its predecessor. It is to rn10 as windows 11 is to windows 10. Not a phenomenal upgrade, and really not worth the extra $$.
Also the rn11pro comes with a Mediatek chip, unlike rn10pro which comes with a Snapdragon.
I say skip Moto G40 and 60 as they both don't have a magnetic sensor (this doesn't sit well with Google Maps), and no amoled display.
If you ask me, I'd say by get the previous year model.
I love my Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro Sweet. It's my Best Smartphone yet. Waiting for Android 13... Currently running MIUI 13.0.0.8 on Android 12 Elite ROM...
