Mi Mix black out screen - Xiaomi Mi MIX Questions & Answers

Hi Mi Mix owners,
I bought Mi Mix from China almost four months ago and this is my second unit. As I do not know Chinese, I upgraded to Global ROM but few days later the bluetooth was disabled and stopped working. I tried many tricks but nothing worked. I contacted xiaomi China and they offered a free replacement. Soon after receiving the new unit I tried to upgrade its firmware to latest Global ROM. Got the unit unlocked and started the upgrade process. Bad luck....the unit got locked on me and refused to start. All what I have is a black screen and a driver shown on Windows Device Manager "Qualcomm HS-USB QDL Loader 9008 (COM4)". Tried many advises from different posts but nothing worked. I like xiaomi designs and materials but frustration is my number one enemy. I'm not sure if the Mix is fried out but sure I need help.

Did you try to reunlock using Mi Unlock tool?

Bricked MI 8

So I live in Canada and I recently bought a MI 8 from AliExpress. From what I've read it's a chineese version of the phone that was unlocked to add the global rom.
After bricking it, I followed some online tutorials to disassemble the phone and put it into EDL mode. Upon attempting to flash the phone, I was told I could not flash the phone because my account does not have the permissions to flash. I looked around to see if there was a way around this (E.G copying the programmer without this retarded authentication from another older firmware) however it seems there's no 845 phone that has an old enough firmware where this authentication measure doesn't exist.
What's my best option here? Is there ANY way I can recover my phone or do I just have a $500 paperweight?
If the device was unlocked you can flash it in fastboot mode using Mi Flash Tool or flash the most important partitions through fastboot.

Some people that had this issue contacted the vendor to get the account and passcode, apparently due a Xiaomi management backlash, the vendors are happy to provide you with those credentials, in some cases at least.
If you bought the phone recently, I would file a complaint with Aliexpress and see if you can get a refund, you can find good deals on global devices on Amazon,

Bring it to the shop where you bought it. The original owner locked that device. Only the original owner can unlock that.

Maybe contact the police. Maybe the reason the original owner locked that device was because its stolen. The store can be charged with anti-fencing law.
Or go to a Xiaomi store and ask them to unlock it or they can contact the original owner.

Bypass MIUI Login k20 Pro

Hello everyone, and I apologize for the newb question but I have tried everything and can't seem to figure this out. I purchased a k20 pro about 4 months ago from a store in Cambodia. After I purchased it, I did a factory reset and it will not let me into the phone without logging into the original account. I have been told the phone is not in find mode so it is possible to bypass the login screen. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance.
Can't bypass login. Probably try aosp roms
Redmi K20 Pro ll Tapatalk
If you have starter pack item (box, warranty card, purchase order), you can send photo as proof to Official Support.

My experience it's work with Indonesia region.

Device removed from MI account, canĀ“t activate the phone, MI account lock

Recently i bought a smashed Xiaomi MI 9 Lite. After the replacement parts came,i assembled it but the phone has the MI account activation lock.I contacted the previous owner and he deleted the device from his MI account (he sent me a proof) but the phone still has the activation lock.I must respect the seller decision that he will not give his password so i am really stuck.I tried several youtube, google methods but none of them worked, bootloader is also locked. I would really appreciate if someone could help me

Question MI 11 ULTRA SUDDEN SHUTDOWN AND WILL NOT TURN ON

Yesterday I was on FB normally, with more than 30% charge, no update, and suddenly the screen flickered and the cell phone turned off, now it does not turn on, it does not heat up when I connect the charger, it only heats up a little with the wireless charger. No matter what I do, it does not turn on, the ignition combination does not work, no fasboot menu, not even the pc detected when i connected.
This happened to mine 2 months ago, i just gave up and bought another phone... Just died in my hand, i was only using whatsapp. Just died and never went back alive again
Same here. I think I have to send it to China for repair. Luckily it's under warranty.
I saw at youtube some repairs about mi 11 ultra, most of them with the same problem... I'll repair mine, just to sell it in the future.
Mi 11, Mi 11 ultra (global) has 24 months warranty, if purchased from official Mi store or authorized sellers . They changed the warranty duration and extended to 2 years.
Of course this doesn't apply to CN models.
