Just installed the official 4.3 update from TMO for the Note II, and I have MK7 running with null_13.
Gear Manager installs the 20 packages, connects to the watch, bring me to the "Accept" dialogues,
then the phone and watch both say Gear Disconnected or out of range.
Do I need to go back to the stock watch firmware/ROM, or what?
I need full notification support.
TIA
Try connecting manually. If you get disconnected notice, you were connected. Try restarting both devices and/or turning off then on the bluetooth on your devices.
Can also go into gear manager and try to reconnect as well

I am trying to get Samsung's car mode app to work via mirror link with my Pioneer appradio 3. When I go into the settings/more/mirrorlink, only the phone app shows up as working. Does anybody have any other working options or know how to get Samsung's working?
Also, my phone does connect to the radio.

Does the radio have bluetooth? I believe mirror link only works with tvs that are wifi enabled. The radio must have wifi connected and you can see the radio in mirror link but other than that it wont work
The radio says its mirror link enabled. If you check the website for mirror link its actually a system used to send info from a phone to a car. And the setting in the phone says to connect to your car through USB.
Short answer mirrorlink is broken the current version 1.1 does not work with the older version 1.0 on older head units like appradio 3, I have a htc one m9 with the same issue.
Thanks fort the reply. Hopefully they can get this figured out.
Well, that isn't entirely true.
I'm trying to connect my Gear Live to my Galaxy S7. While the phone and watch do connect (or at least, my phone will say it's connect, both on bluetooth and on android wear), the watch can't connect to the Internet for whatever download it has to make right now. I've tried it with my phone connected to WiFi and with mobile data, and neither have worked. I have tried resetting both my phone and my watch and neither have worked.
Any help?
For me it is strange. I have 2 android phones, a oneplus one rooted and a samsung s8 non rooted. I try to connect the oneplus with a cable for android auto but the S8 disconnects from bluetooth, so the 2 phones can not be connected at the same time. The weirdest thing is that my wife as the iphone 11 pro max and when she is in the car i can connect the S8 with android auto and the iphone still works with bluetooth. Why can't i do this with 2 android phones?
So, if i can connect the S8 with aa and the iphone via bluetooth, why can't i connect another android phone
rather than the iphone.?
If in my car, i have 2 "slots" for bluetooth connection:
1 combination : S8 connected with aa and using 1 "slot" BT and iphone connected using the other BT "slot", works fine
2 combination: S8 connected with aa and using 1 "slot" BT and oneplus one connected using the other BT "slot", never works
3 combination: oneplus one connected with aa and using 1 "slot" BT and S8 connected using the other BT "slot", never works
Why?
I think this is an implementation issue of the head unit. In the Subaru, I've had my phone connected to AA for navigation and my wife has used hers on bluetooth for calls. Try turning bluetooth off on the phone that is connected to AA - I don't remember, but I may have had to do that.

Hi. I have the same problem. But, if I freeze all the bluetooth services of the phone that is connected by cable (bluetooth does not work), I can connect the other phone by bluetooth to make calls and android auto works correctly.
This solution is not the best for me, since I want to connect the obd2 to the bluetooth of the phone that is permanently connected to AA.
I read online that there are people who could solve it by cloning the same bluetooh mac on both phones. But I can't find how this procedure is done.

I believe that android auto won't work unless your phone Bluetooth tooth and cable connected to head unit.
Either one is missing, it won't work.
Correct me if I am worng

Hi. I believed the same as you. But, in my case, if I disable all bluetooth services, android auto still works, with the cell phone connected by cable. (cell phone bluetooth is disabled)
I would like to find a way to use it to connect the obd2, to the cell phone that is permanently connected.
Any idea how to solve this?
Today i had the S8 connected to the infotainment system by bluetooth and then i connected the oneplus with the cable (because i had to restart the oneplus), it started the Android auto connection and for moments the 2 phones where working at the same time (i continued to listen to music from S8 and had the android auto interface on). I was viewing google maps on aa and when i switched app, the connection with S8 broke. I still don't understand, i thought that the 2 channels i had in my car for bluetooth where not connected between one another, but it seems that with 2 android phones the connection is broken. I insist, with the iphone and any other android phone works just fine.

Hi. To me, android auto forces to connect the bluetooth of the cell phone that is connected by cable. If android car is not running I can have both phones.

It does not have to be that way, at least for me. And if this works like that is a bad implementation of android auto. My car has 2 slots for bluethoot connection, i think they would have to work independently from each other, but in this case you have 2 android phones, it seems that the connection is linked in the 2 slots and it will not work, but if you have an iphone and an android phone the 2 slots work independently and they work just fine. So...Why? I still can't get it, it shouldn't be like this.
Hi mates, the same here!
I´ve an android radio with bluetooth 5.1 and can´t find a way to connect 2 Android phones at the same time. Tha´s ´cos 1 is for calls and 2 is only for music (rooted with Viper4android). Do I need another bluetooth adapter in order to make the 2nd phone working? Or what??
Tks so much and tks in adv
In the last week i has able to connect the 2 android phones via Bluetooth in my car. The trick here is to connect first the phone that you will use for calls, and then connect the other phone. If you try to do it the other way arround it won't work.

I tried the way you described, but as soon as you try to connect 2nd phone, my android head unit says to disconnect 1st phone, in order to connect 2nd phone.
Just FYI
1st phone= S10 (for receiving calls)
2nd phone= Oneplus X (android auto)
Honda accord head unit ( android auto)
For me it's not possible.
Can you describe step by step your thing. Cause AFAIK I have no go.

First off all, my car has 2 slots for bluetooth devices, normally i use an iphone (wife) and a samsung s8. In the past weeks i was trying to connect the s8 and an oneplus one. I struggled at first but now i only need to have the oneplus turned off and connect the s8 to the bluetooth of the head unit, then i turn on the oneplus witch is very fast since this device has few apps installed and connect with the cable via android auto. I even share the internet connection between phones and can play youtube videos in the head unit. The car is a Skoda Kodiaq 2017 (VW group).

It happens to me as it does to you. When I connect with the cable it forces me to use the bluetooth of the cell phone connected to the cable.
I still can't find the solution
I have an Active 2, Wifi version SM-R820 paired with a Huawei P40 pro. Remote connection in Galaxy Wearable is on and the samsung account is logged in.
But if connected to wifi only, as standalone, there are no notifications.
With BT everything is working almost fine, because sometimes I found the watch disconnected from BT, I have to open the Galaxy Wearable app and after it connects automatically.
Any ideas?
Problem solved.
I have to unckeck "manage automatically" from Settings - Battery - App launch the apps:
Galaxy wearable, Samsung accessory service, Galaxy active 2 plugin, Samsung Health.
I have a Galaxy watch 3 SM-R840 and when I connect it to wifi I can't download or update anything, I reset it to zero and it remains the same, any ideas please

What do you mean by "download or update anything"?
In remote connection mode you can only receive notifications and use the Find watch and phone functions.

That's the way it's been designed, I think. WiFi on the watch is only meant to connect to your phone "remotely", when Bluetooth connection fails. In the remote connection mode you only can receive notifications and use some basic stuff like Find my watch etc. Open your Galaxy Wearable app on your phone when the watch is connected through WiFi and you'll see most functionality is greyed out.
Solved, I tried it with another wifi network and it works perfect, thanks !!!!!
