What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps. Anyway to get a working system we ported some changes from Cyanogenmod/LineageOS and CodeAurora repos.
Please do not ask for features to be added because we're not going to add more to keep this ROM small, fast and pure.
But Exceptions are always there..

General notes
Rom is Unrooted by default so use Magisk to get root privileges and bypass SafetyNet.
Theming: rom has from this build the new SUBSTRATUM THEME ENGINE. Use the integrated Substratum app to apply OMS overlays (OverlaysManagerService). Latest Substratum is rootless!
Theming: to apply OMS overlays to some system apps, you need also to flash TBO GoogleApps-ThemeReady right after your Gapps package from recovery. This means to be clear: ROM + GAPPS + TBO

13/07 : Initial Public Release Build
Hi folks!
"Not just another rom for Oneplus X"- yeah, that's what it is.
I worked on it keeping newbie users in mind, mainly those who like to use unrooted or use stock rom. I did pour my heart out in this rom as it was intended for a very special friend who still uses stock rom unrooted so had to provide her something as stable as stock rom with all the tunings preconfigured.
Rom ships unrooted so you can flash Magisk for root and to bypass SafetyNet easily.
Some highlights:
Rom ships with "Most optimal" settings preconfigured- you can use it without making a single change related to kernel.
Soft coded max freq to 1.9ghz to keep device cool and save battery- you can change it back to 2.3 using kernel adiutor.
Undervolted all freqs by -10 by default.
OOS Camera Hal with all working features like HFR,SlowMo, HDR etc. (OOS Cam zip availble in 1st post)
Enabled panic detection mode.
Reduced TCP buffer threshold to decrease packet loss ratio.
Ticker feature added.
Statusbar related customizations can be found in systemui tuner (do check it out!)
Netflix, amazon video etc works as expected, even download works in Netflix.
Fixed wifi-mobile data switch issue.
All the device specific changes in sync with my GZR Trees.
And the best part: build type is "USER" instead of "USERDEBUG", yeah we ship User builds aka the production builds which all oems ships and passes most of the CTS. User builds tends to disable all type of debugging by default in all parts of rom so we do the same but with only required debugging options enabled like adb to get logs properly for better performance and UX.
Brilliant! ... thank you!
Edit: lean and clean, ultra smooth w/ zero issues. Have yet to complete one battery cycle going on 3+ hrs. sot.
Everything just works, gallery supports all video types, suggestions in kybd all languages. By far the best rom for our device.
? best ROM by far. Finally with a thread. Great work Nimit!

Soft keys toggle is what being worked on right now, wait for it in new build, till then use the build.prop method to get soft keys working.
Battery symbol customizations are available in Settings > Systemui Tuner, looks like you overlooked my 3rd post
ahh tnx found battery symbol changer
maybe you could tell me what to change in build prop for activate software nav keys and deactivate hw buttons ? ^^
*******************
edit: adding in build.prop the line "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" right , OK it worked.

I guess you'd need to decide for yourself. Paranoid sounds a bit unstable at the moment (no surprise as it's only the first release). If you're desperate for something now I don't think Paranoid is the one.
Magisk v13.2 -> safety net -> passed
Just informing.
Great rom, miss few settings like led notifications and traffic indicators
Just tried the ROM and it is awesome! Thanks a lot for your efforts @CheckYourScreen
1. For those who don't like the current hardware buttons combination can use this app to remap/swap the buttons
Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.irishin.buttonsremapper
I tried it and it is working fine.
2. For the big 'PM' after the time on the lockscreen, the following Xperia Lockscreen Clock substratum module can be used to solve the problem. It also works fine.

There's no need for the button switch app, it's in settings under display (oddly).
---------- Post added at 11:12 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:10 PM ----------
Very impressed with this ROM. It's the only nougat ROM I've tried where everything just works.
It has enough config options for me, theming, and the camera works perfectly, including panorama and slow motion video.
Great stuff.

Does the camera is the same as sultan? I mean does it constantly at 30fps ?

If you flash the OOS camera app as shown in the OP then you have the option of forcing video framerate in the app, which is essentially what you want. But it isn't sultans camera (no nougat ROMs currently in active development use sultans HAL).

We are not responsible for any damages, data loss or any type of unexpected,
bad or damaging results! If you have **SERIOUS** problems with this software,
please contact the developers or maintainers. We are not liable for anything
bad that happens to your device.
As long as you are responsible, some companies such as OnePlus
WILL HONOR IT. Some people occasionally describe them as heroes.
Don't be stupid and bet on that though, please be responsible for what you do.
We prohibit you from overclocking to 1337 GHz thinking, that an OEM would
replace your glorious space heater etc.
We recommend you to take the advice above regardless.
halogenOS Checklist
Although no data should be lost or damaged by the flashing process,
we advise you to follow the following steps if you are coming from another rom:
Please take a full nandroid backup!
Please copy your back up to an external device.
Backing up your Internal Storage is also recommended.
When completed, please clean flash the build!
Although you usually can dirty flash halogenOS over other ROMs, considering the other
ROM has the same Android version, it is not guaranteed. In case of serious
crashes please do a clean flash.
You can dirty flash halogenOS 7 (Nougat) over halogenOS 6 (Marshmallow)
without any problems. Although we can't promise that it will work for you,
we can tell you that this has been tested. In fact, @xdvs23 did a dirty flash of
XOS 7 over XOS 6 and has no problems.
If you get app crashes after dirty flashing over XOS 6 or another ROM, please just
clear the app data of those apps, and it should work fine then.
XOS is a new generation cutting-edge OS for Android based on Code Aurora Forum releases.
What is XOS?
halogenOS, also known as XOS is a new Android ROM which ships with the global aim to
become a modular ROM which keeps as high as potentially possible operating
performance on your mobile device while still maintaining a sufficient feature
base of nice, small and minimal features that would not be available via any
external feature base, extension, mod or plugin.
We hope you have a truly halogenified experience!
Internals of XOS
At core, the ROM is composed mainly of components from CodeAuroraForums (CAF),
featuring only extremely minor set of components from CyanogenMod (CM) which
have been added to source in order to allow for better cross-device compatibility.
Our LOVE to others
A huge thanks goes to those behind the CodeAuroraForums (CAF), the CyanogenMod
organization and all of its
contributors for the sources used in the development of the base ROM which we
started with inclusive of all the work and dedication their team puts in order to
keep us updated on the awesome contributions that they make.
We will be keen on ensuring that we be up to date with the code from our base sources,
with regular ROM updates hopefully coming from time to time.
Please do not ask for ETA's (else you shall be spooked by Mr Skeltal). Almost all of us are
students, and with the current lifestyles and routines we have, it is not that easy to acquire
time to develop the ROM, though we'll be sure to keep you updated and release OTAs as
soon as they are available and ready for publication. If you want to be really updated quick,
then join us on Telegram: http://telegram.me/halogenos
Visit our website for features such as: Downloads, Information etc.
http://halogenos.org
(Not finished yet)

GAPPS are not included. You can flash Magisk, I'm not sure about SuperSU. I'll post screenshots later after I get my phone unbricked.
Is there Known Bugs ?
Screenshots ?
Root and TWRP Recovery ?
oreo
what kind of rom is this how it works?
who gapps going with this rom?
why there is no information?
I tried it and honestly don't see anything special/different about it except some minimal eye candy in some of the apps. It has the same bugs as any 8.1 - video, superSU etc. Back to RR for me. ♥
Im using this rom for a one day.
Same as all 8.1 rom from sirius build. The only one problem for me,is the home button loyout is very small. Somebody know some tips/tricks ?

Unfortunately, that's something in AOSCP. According to the devs at AOSCP, Google intended to be like this. However this might get fixed in a newer build.
I just wanna know what will be the update schedule if u continue supporting rom. like weeky or as when needed? Also will u be trying to fix the device specific bugs or will it be based on the rcstar's builds?
Thanks for a new rom for our z2.:good:

I don't have a update schedule but I'll be updating as soon as I can. I'll try to aim for weekly builds. And yes I'll try to fix some bugs (even though it's based on rcstars builds, I can still fix some bugs and rcstar and I can work together.)

If you try to charge your phone with it turned off, the screen is never off, you will see the light coming from the screen basically.
microphone
Does this ROM have a problem with the microphone?
Rom is great. Much better than carbon. But the home button's interaction area is too thin. I can't touch to it sometimes. If you can't understand what I mean I can send video.

Yes, I have that issue too. I'm not sure why that's like that but it might get fixed in a later build. (I've also noticed while in landscape mode, the home button area becomes normal.)

Solution for all fingerprint issues (will add to OP as well):
So I had several issues both on my phone and others, even wiping data didn't work, the solution afetr digging in is actually really simple and works 100%.
1. Download latest Oreo stock fastboot from Xiaomi
2. Flash using miflash with full wipe and lock
3. Once you get to setup wizard don't setup anything, reboot back to bootloader
4. Flash userdata image from august nougat stock
5. Format userdata to get correct userdata size
6. Boot latest TWRP and flash latest Pixel Rom
7. Flash TWRP (optional)
8. Reboot into recovery and flash latest magisk (optional)
After this all 5 fingerprint work fine including delete, no more left over fingerprint after deleting, solution is permanent unless you downgrade to nougat stock, then you have to do the procedure again.

Why though?
does this rom has notification bug like in RN4 ???
eg:-Change settings of notifications access of a app (take whatsapp here) then change setting of no notification tone from whatsapp setting and disable notification sound and save it
then still you will recive notifications (if it is still disabled from setting)and whatsapp notification tone will also work (disabled from whatsapp settings) and when you go to check in settings it will be resetted to default settings -______-
that my friend had and he is suffering from OCD -______-
if you know this you will understand what i am telling ?

AOSP Extended is an AOSP based ROM which provides stock UI/UX with various customizations features along with the Substratum theme engine. The project has been made by cherry- picking various commits from various other projects. Being based on AOSP it provides a smooth and lag- free experience out of the box. We will constantly try to add more features and make it even better in future updates. A ROM by a user, for a user. #StayAOSP #ExtendYourDevice #BeExtended

This is an initial build and some bugs may occur as you can see
Pie is a WIP right now, many customs don't have customizations like Oreo because that demand some time to test a few things, implement and so on

Hi, thanks for the Rom, but which camera app should I use? have tried pixelmaster from playstore but it doesn't have flashlight and such. I heard people talk about Gcam but which version is working with our phone? Also does it support at least 12MP?

Does not start!
I did full cleanup (dalvik, cache, system, internal and data)
I installed Rom + Gapps + Magisk
The rom is in the colored google logo then restarted for TWRP, whenever I try to connect it stays a while in the logo then restarts to TWRP 3.2.3.
Ps: I was using HavocOS android 8.
Not booting....just keeps shutting down.....and no sim card detected aswell

As @tkhquang mentioned: you need to Format Data on TWRP
That's needed on the first time to remove encryption, after the ROM installation/first boot you can encrypt again

Camera Instructions
As you can see that OOS camera is not working fine, but this came at the cost of gcam getting derped. However i know many users preffered gcam. That too is possible. To do that follow this steps
Download Titanium Backup/Swift Backup/Any backup which can freeze System apps
Open the app and grant super user access
Search for the app Omni CameraPackage
Disable/Freeze it. Do NOT uninstall it if you change your mind to come back to oos camera
Reboot
Voila
To go back to OOS Camera, do the following
Download Titanium Backup/Swift Backup/Any backup which can freeze System apps
Open the app and grant super user access
Search for the app Omni CameraPackage
Enable/Unfreeze it
Reboot
Voila
This great thing was shared by @DennySPB. I have him to thanks!!!

It probably will not work. But you shouldn't be asking here, because it is clearly thread for OP6 and if it would work I think dev would mentioned that.
Lets keep forums tidy and in order.. that will help for everyone to communicate and reach information easier.
Since this is the only post about this rom, I can only ask here. Where else would you ask ???
And since the op6 and op6t is so close hardware wise, there might be cross compatibility.

To be honest i don't know. I tend to normally test myself and i have only the 6. IFF you are brave enough to test it in the 6T tell us but i can't guarantee anything!! Which is the reason why i wrote the 6 only.
Im testing it today. On my 6 T
Where are the custom fonts?
