GAPPS are not included. You can flash Magisk, I'm not sure about SuperSU. I'll post screenshots later after I get my phone unbricked.

Is there Known Bugs ?
Screenshots ?
Root and TWRP Recovery ?

oreo
what kind of rom is this how it works?
who gapps going with this rom?
why there is no information?

I tried it and honestly don't see anything special/different about it except some minimal eye candy in some of the apps. It has the same bugs as any 8.1 - video, superSU etc. Back to RR for me. ♥

Im using this rom for a one day.
Same as all 8.1 rom from sirius build. The only one problem for me,is the home button loyout is very small. Somebody know some tips/tricks ?

Unfortunately, that's something in AOSCP. According to the devs at AOSCP, Google intended to be like this. However this might get fixed in a newer build.

I just wanna know what will be the update schedule if u continue supporting rom. like weeky or as when needed? Also will u be trying to fix the device specific bugs or will it be based on the rcstar's builds?
Thanks for a new rom for our z2.:good:

I don't have a update schedule but I'll be updating as soon as I can. I'll try to aim for weekly builds. And yes I'll try to fix some bugs (even though it's based on rcstars builds, I can still fix some bugs and rcstar and I can work together.)

My test good rom better than lineage and carbon

If you try to charge your phone with it turned off, the screen is never off, you will see the light coming from the screen basically.

microphone
Does this ROM have a problem with the microphone?

Rom is great. Much better than carbon. But the home button's interaction area is too thin. I can't touch to it sometimes. If you can't understand what I mean I can send video.

Yes, I have that issue too. I'm not sure why that's like that but it might get fixed in a later build. (I've also noticed while in landscape mode, the home button area becomes normal.)

Validus ROM for the LG L90 (w7)
Source Code
Requires unlocked bootloader(D405/D410), twrp for install and full wipe.
ROM OS Version: 6.0.x Marshmallow

FAQ:
Q Are you still going to support your other ROMs for the l90?
A Short answer: "yes", Long answer: "I have no reason not to, each one is an adventure of its own".
Q Does this ROM support Xposed?
A No, Xposed is a hack that is geared towards AOSP, custom ROM's modify the framework a lot, so Xposed can cause a ton of issues on custom ROM's. Now it might work for you, however it is not to be disscused in this thread, and you should refrain from posting bug reports while using it as Xposed can cause a lot of bugs.
Q Alright, but I still want to flash Xposed, so which version do I need to install?
A Use the version arm sdk 23.
Q Can I have an ETA for the next build?
A If I have one I will probably give it to you, don't ask for one though, it is very rude to do this.
Q Do I need to provide a log if I'm reporting a bug?
A If you want it to be fixed faster (or at all) then yes, you should definitely provide a log.
Q I installed a bad theme and now I'm getting a bootloop, how do I fix it?
A In TWRP, go into Advanced, then File Manager and navigate to /data/system/theme, and then delete the folder, you might also have to remove the app in /data/app, or /system/app.
Q Can the builds be dirty flashed over each other?
A Yes, however make a nandroid first as there is a chance of getting a bootloop or encountering bugs, also bugs may only be reported on a clean flash.
Q How do I get a logcat, and what type should I get, and more questions that can conviently be answered by my pre-determined answer?
A Read this thoroughly. Also, here's a good app for getting logs: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tortel.syslog

Thanks, and basically if you want a feature rich ROM with the cyanogen mod theme engine you would use this one, if you want substratum instead, you would use tesla, and if you want a very lightweight, but still very customizable ROM you would use liquid. Also when it comes to validus and Tesla there aren't any features that just bog down performance, however they're still very feature rich, liquid just takes the performance part even further by adding tons of optimizations and only a few essential features that users love. Also, Validus is my only ROM with key features from a popular ROM called dirty unicorns, so if you like DU, you'll probably like this. That's how my ROMs work anyway.

Thanks, I will test IR when I have time.. don't use it anyways but it is always nice to have everything working
But I have more important issue... headphones are not being detected at all... and phone calls go through loud speaker. I did clean flash with everything formatted even sdcard but no help...
I've thought a lot about this and I've decided to only release, and maintain builds on Google plus from now on. If you have any issues or questions, or just want to say something, just comment on the release post. I'm going to ask a mod to close the thread, All builds will be announced here: https://plus.google.com/108827106611656999802

What is AOSP?
AOSP is Android as Google publish without other modifications. More or less AOSP is the Nexus devices stock rom without gapps. Anyway to get a working system we ported some changes from Cyanogenmod/LineageOS and CodeAurora repos.
Please do not ask for features to be added because we're not going to add more to keep this ROM small, fast and pure.
But Exceptions are always there..

General notes
Rom is Unrooted by default so use Magisk to get root privileges and bypass SafetyNet.
Theming: rom has from this build the new SUBSTRATUM THEME ENGINE. Use the integrated Substratum app to apply OMS overlays (OverlaysManagerService). Latest Substratum is rootless!
Theming: to apply OMS overlays to some system apps, you need also to flash TBO GoogleApps-ThemeReady right after your Gapps package from recovery. This means to be clear: ROM + GAPPS + TBO

13/07 : Initial Public Release Build
Hi folks!
"Not just another rom for Oneplus X"- yeah, that's what it is.
I worked on it keeping newbie users in mind, mainly those who like to use unrooted or use stock rom. I did pour my heart out in this rom as it was intended for a very special friend who still uses stock rom unrooted so had to provide her something as stable as stock rom with all the tunings preconfigured.
Rom ships unrooted so you can flash Magisk for root and to bypass SafetyNet easily.
Some highlights:
Rom ships with "Most optimal" settings preconfigured- you can use it without making a single change related to kernel.
Soft coded max freq to 1.9ghz to keep device cool and save battery- you can change it back to 2.3 using kernel adiutor.
Undervolted all freqs by -10 by default.
OOS Camera Hal with all working features like HFR,SlowMo, HDR etc. (OOS Cam zip availble in 1st post)
Enabled panic detection mode.
Reduced TCP buffer threshold to decrease packet loss ratio.
Ticker feature added.
Statusbar related customizations can be found in systemui tuner (do check it out!)
Netflix, amazon video etc works as expected, even download works in Netflix.
Fixed wifi-mobile data switch issue.
All the device specific changes in sync with my GZR Trees.
And the best part: build type is "USER" instead of "USERDEBUG", yeah we ship User builds aka the production builds which all oems ships and passes most of the CTS. User builds tends to disable all type of debugging by default in all parts of rom so we do the same but with only required debugging options enabled like adb to get logs properly for better performance and UX.
Brilliant! ... thank you!
Edit: lean and clean, ultra smooth w/ zero issues. Have yet to complete one battery cycle going on 3+ hrs. sot.
Everything just works, gallery supports all video types, suggestions in kybd all languages. By far the best rom for our device.
? best ROM by far. Finally with a thread. Great work Nimit!

Soft keys toggle is what being worked on right now, wait for it in new build, till then use the build.prop method to get soft keys working.
Battery symbol customizations are available in Settings > Systemui Tuner, looks like you overlooked my 3rd post
ahh tnx found battery symbol changer
maybe you could tell me what to change in build prop for activate software nav keys and deactivate hw buttons ? ^^
*******************
edit: adding in build.prop the line "qemu.hw.mainkeys=0" right , OK it worked.

I guess you'd need to decide for yourself. Paranoid sounds a bit unstable at the moment (no surprise as it's only the first release). If you're desperate for something now I don't think Paranoid is the one.
Magisk v13.2 -> safety net -> passed
Just informing.
Great rom, miss few settings like led notifications and traffic indicators
Just tried the ROM and it is awesome! Thanks a lot for your efforts @CheckYourScreen
1. For those who don't like the current hardware buttons combination can use this app to remap/swap the buttons
Link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.irishin.buttonsremapper
I tried it and it is working fine.
2. For the big 'PM' after the time on the lockscreen, the following Xperia Lockscreen Clock substratum module can be used to solve the problem. It also works fine.

Instructions:
Install, Open Substratum, Choose CITRUS Clock 1 variant and Build&Enable.

There's no need for the button switch app, it's in settings under display (oddly).

Very impressed with this ROM. It's the only nougat ROM I've tried where everything just works.
It has enough config options for me, theming, and the camera works perfectly, including panorama and slow motion video.
Great stuff.

Does the camera is the same as sultan? I mean does it constantly at 30fps ?

If you flash the OOS camera app as shown in the OP then you have the option of forcing video framerate in the app, which is essentially what you want. But it isn't sultans camera (no nougat ROMs currently in active development use sultans HAL).

For some reason as of late I've only been able to flash magisk and supersu 2.82 together if I use the modified 12.0 magisk. This has happened on AICP and AOKP as far as nougat roms go. But yeah to answer your question you have to flash magisk, it's not pre-rooted or pre-installed. I simply flashed 2.82 then flashed the modded Magisk 12.0 that i found here on xda. I think the username was "adrian" or something like that but it was a fix because of a failure made on the original magisk a while back.

How did you get it to work without being sent back to TWRP? For some reason none of my nougat roms will let me use 13 anymore, i can't figure out why.

You sir are greatly appreciated. I'm almost embarrassed at how easy it was with your instructions. I'm still baffled though, because i was able to install 2.82 with 13.3 last time....this way only allows 13.3....could it be safe to assume if i did it in the same order only 2.82 after 13 (since 13 doesn't like pre modified boot images) it would work???
---------- Post added at 08:19 AM ---------- Previous post was at 08:04 AM ----------
I almost forgot to give praise and Kudos for this gem. I've been searching far and wide for a proper rom for my Z00A and while there are greats there are not too many that meet my needs. As i've mentioned before I've been sticking with AICP and AOKP for a while but Venom is definitely being added to the list. It's fast, the color engine is second to none (thank you red and black!!!!) it works very well with substratum (you should make that a key point) and while i've only had a fresh install for a few hours, i can say i'm in love.
One concern i do have is with lawnchair saying: "Detected problems with app native libraries (please consult log for detail): libavcodec.so: text relocations libswresample.so: text relocations.
nothing else out of the ordinary happens outside of that when i first staat or return to the launcher from a reboot. Anyway, There are not too many quality Z00a roms and this one brightens my day. Now that i've figured out how to get magisk 13 to work (thank you @C-Ph87) ; I'll be back with proper findings after i tweak my heart out. I just did a reinstall but from the previous i had viper audio working, again it booted and ran fast, substratum with 3 different combinations of overlays, i hadn't touched my kernel but i'm using holo and i'll tweak it this time around.
hanks to the ViperOS devs you all are awesome and I'm hoping this will be my main os until i decide to test android O.

I always see that same warning using XDA Labs/XDA Forums app.
I've once asked that on another thread and got an answer that it happens because font developers mislead some typeface fonts or simething like that.
As i dont understand how this works, i'm ok.
I tsill think pretty strange that this only happens in our device using lineage source (also substratum fonts causing bootloops).
---------- Post added at 09:43 ---------- Previous post was at 09:39 ----------
I've read in Google Plus Zenfone 2 brazilian community that some users are reporting better responsiveness touchscreen using ViperOs.
I've installed yesterday ang got the impression that something was different.
I've started to observed this and really seems that touch is a little bit responsive.
I still think that is related to Kernel.
Viper uses Lineage Kernel but I'm using Holo Kernel tho (same kernel that i used on every other ROM i've tested).
Does that make any sense? Any of you got the same impression?

Everything works like a charm in this build its smooth but there is that bootloop issue which is present in pixel experience rom,but long pressing the power button helps in that rom where as in cosmic it doesn't work even after long pressing the power button or else if i go to twrp and then power on device also it sends into bootloop. Pls once check this issue,Other than that the rom is usable as daily driver if the bootloop issue is solved. Thanks for bringing cosmic universe to zuk z1:good:

I apologise for my previous post as I was not aware of twrp 3.2
I flashed the ROM with twrp 3.2 and now it is working smoothly!
After I pressed reboot for the first time I encountered a bootloop which was fixed upon a forced restart!
I once again thank the developer for providing this ROM since you guys have a daily job and do this in your free time.
I noticed something in the audio of the ROM. Irrespective of the music app I install, if equalizer is enabled then the playback stops, when I change the next song, the timer is running but no audio output is present! However if I disable the equalizer, the music app functions normally! Does anyone else experiencing this or just me?
No boot loop issue

Irrespective of the music app I install, if equalizer is enabled then the playback stops, when I change the next song, the timer is running but no audio output is present! However if I disable the equalizer, the music app functions normally! Does anyone else experiencing this or just me?

Guys, very beautiful rom. Please tell me that we Verizon users can also enjoy this one as well.
@durgesh
Hey man, this Custom Rom sounds and looks pretty awesome!!
Couple of questions for you:
1. Is this strictly for the 6T only or 6 as well? (I'm sure someone is bound ask)
2. Can this ROM be used on the 6T McLaren edition?
3. If it can be used on the 6T McLaren version, are the McLaren goodies included (McLaren Boot animation, themes, wallpapers, etc.) or will be included at some point?
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hey I'm waiting to know that too.
Can we hide nav bar in order to use other gesture navigation apps? Also, which gapps are included in gapps version?
Thank you for the ROM and your effort.

Yes
This looks quite good. With some other roms having released their last versions I'm shopping around and this is definitely going on my list.
* Call recorder (Skvalex) should work, right?
* What camera does it uses and are there limitation (like slowmo on GCAM?)

Excellent. Looking forward to seeing the evolution of this ROM and possibly have the McLaren goodies included in the near future...
Hopefully, this ROM will get A12 as well cause it is literally around the corner and that's where Custom Roms will really be needed for the 6T...
Looking forward to flashing this Rom. Also your PayPal donation page has no profile attached to it.

For me fingerprint sensor is not working at all. It's not recognizing fingers though successfully registered.
I am on OOS 10.3.9 firmware as base.
