Working xposed for 7.1.1 stock rom - OnePlus 3 Guides, News, & Discussion

This is from the chinese oneplus forum, the developer kingrealer who compiles xposed framework into sudamod rom. I am just sharing the zip file.
source is from this website (by abforce):
https://github.com/abforce/xposed_art_n
I have tested on h2os open 17, works perfectly for most xposed modules. It also works on oxygen os and should be okay for all aosp based 7.1.1 roms.
Just flash the xposed zip file and install the xposed apk then everything will work.

Working perfectly fine on oos 4.1.6

Magisk 13.3 don't pass SafetyNet after installed xposed.

Well that came out of nowhere.

Modules didn't work

Damn son...
Can anyone confirm? Or is it a hoax (as always when it comes to Chinese software that promises Xposed for nougat)

That's mean dude lol @7root

So what is this?
Sounds suspicious since it was stated with the recent art submodule xposed can only inbuilt in roms from scratch and not be flashed after.

You need H2OS .
As this zip is for some specific builds of h2os
Idk if it's universal AOSP supported.
The Chinese guy made it supported for h2os only that too 2-3 versions only.
I tried this and had no luck, it shows framework is active but none of the modules work .

Any modules working guys - especially gravity box?

We had exactly the same situation a couple of weeks ago - sinister Chinese site offered xposed4nougat and instead installed malware on the phone or even bricked it. Never trust software that cannot be approved.
Also i did not expect that to work on a heavily modified ROM as H2OS. Should work on OOS as well since they share the same base, if it works at all.

@C3C076; Can we expect a breakthrough :fingers-crossed:

Warning: Xposed Not Compatible with Android 5.1 or latest TWRP

I'm just throwing this out there to maybe save a few people out there the headache and wasted time I experience not knowing Xposed would not install with the latest version of TWRP and was not compatible with Android 5.1 (at the time of this writing.)
How did I make this mistake a few days ago? 95% of all web pages describing any requirements (including the official thread here) or describing installation instructions fail to mention either of these issues. Granted most of those articles were probably written before 5.1 was released and just not updated. For the person that simply googles "Xposed Android Lollipop Installation" instead of wading through dozens and dozens of post in XDA, to finally find a post that discusses the 5.1 incompatibility, this is a potential pitfall.
I do think the official thread should say "compatible with Android 4.0 to 5.0.x" instead of just saying "compatible with Android 4.0 and above."
Just want to say that i flashed Xposed with TWRP 2.8.6.0 and it works fine on Moto G Titan :good:
yes. this happened to me too.

Can't flash xposed using TWRP 2.8.6.0, too. My device is Nexus 5 Android 5.0.1. Switching to TWRP 2.8.5.3 solve this.

Xposed currently is only for 32 bit ROMs.
Well that's good to know, will save a lot of money by not upgrading to the M9
Sent from my HTC6525LVW using Tapatalk
There is an issue with some (maybe all?) TWRP 2.8.6.0 builds missing the "unzip" binary and busybox in general. I know this affects hammerhead and victara at least. I've added a small check to the installer to account for this but probably the best course of action is to use 2.8.5.x until the issue is resolved with the TWRP build servers.
This does not only affect Xposed BTW. SuperSU 2.48 beta was just released and contains a similar check for the same reason.
Wait.....i have the TWRP 2.8.6.1 and use the modules without problems but i am on android 4.3. stock S3.......maybe for this? xposed is incompatible with the last TWRP but on L, right?
i have install with twrp on my nexus 5 well but whent boot its optimize the app and finish, when finish its do restart like boot loops.. why and how i can fix it please?
The OP should fix the thread title, afaik it only concerns 2.8.6.0 builds.
I'm on Lollipop 5.1 with TWRP 2.8.6.1 on Nexus 5 and I was able to flash and use the Xposed Framework no problem.

I cannot install xposed framework on Vodafone Smart Ultra 6 Phone?

Hello got meself one of these fantastic value for money phones and unlocked it to my network next thing I wanted to do is root it and then install xposed framework and then xposed app settings and gravity box.
After I installed xposed framework and tried to install xposed/update framework into the system I was greeted with the message in the pic, I have never got this message with xposed before. What does it mean and what do I have to do, or what am I doing wrong? thanks.

You have installed the Xposed_Installer.apk for KitKat. Use the correct one for Lollipop (Xposed_Installer_3.0_alpha4.apk) from here.
By the way, you should check this thread about general information for Xposed for Lollipop. Read carefully at least the first two posts, if you haven't figured out yet that you need to flash the framework via custom recovery on Lollipop devices.

Check post #2 of the official Xposed for Lollipop thread. There you'll find a flow chart you can use to identify the correct Xposed framework version for your device.

Thanks - I already took the plunge last night and used xposed-v74-sdk21-arm.zip - it seems to have done the trick, working now. I wouldnt have been able to understand that flow chart anyway , but thanks for your help

[Module] Get 7.1 emojis back

Hello everybody!
This is my first Magisk module, I hope you like it. (And sorry for my bad english)
Why would you like to install this:
You have old android version, and you want to get the android 7.1 emojis?
Or are you on Android oreo and hate those new emojis?
Just install this
Installation instructions:
1. Install latest Magisk (Link)
2. Install this module
3. Reboot your phone
# Try it with your keyboard, if not work go Step 4
4. Go Play Store search Gboard (Google Keyboard).
# If it already installed DELETE it.
5. Then INSTALL/UPDATE it (again)
6. Reboot your phone again
You are DONE
Tested on:
Oneplus 2 OxygenOS 3.5.8 (Android 6.0) with Gboard
Samsung Galaxy A5 2016 Touchwiz rom (Android 6.0) with Swiftkey
Version:
1.2 Support LineageOS 15.1
1.1 Now works on Samsung devices
1.0 First Release
Thanks
@topjohnwu for create Magisk
@XenRon

Awesomeee! Well, I hate Sammy's emojis. His face is just too weird. ? Gonna try it now.
Is this system-wide or only works on the Gboard?
Edit: Guess it is working only on Gboard or Sammy just blocked it out... Isn't working on my Galaxy A5 2016
Apparently, Samsung has its own font called SamsungColorEmoji.ttf stored in system/fonts (same directory as NotoColorEmoji.ttf) I have modded it for Samsung users. Please download the file in my attachment if you are using a Touchwiz rom. Please give thanks to @Bembee for creating this awesome module!

I'm running on MM, Samsung Galaxy A5 2016, and using Swiftkey keyboard
Anyone get a bootloop/stuck on unlocked bootloader with this? I had to flash magisk uninstaller after installing this and rebooting
This is also making me bootloop (LOS15). Using magisk mount and deleting /magisk/emoji7.1 causes the device to correctly boot again.
Code:
vendor/qcom/proprietary/adsprpc/src/adsprpcd.c:39:adsp daemon error dlopen failed: library "libadsp_default_listener.so" not found
not work on Z5compact 7.0 Gboard magisk14
It can't work on my pixel xl Oreo
I made my own version of this module based upon the most recent template on github. This one works on my OP3T running LOS15 (Android O). I think the main difference was putting the font in "system/fonts" and not "system/".
Have you named it properly?
I have cleared the repo cache and still see this...

Try uninstalling the driver and re-installing. I am using SuperSU 2.82sr5 though, so if Magisk is the issue I'm probably not much help here.
Also - stupid question - you renamed the vendor/etc/audio_effects.conf file, right? I don't think it would install the driver if you didn't...just thought I'd ask tho to be sure.

Yeah works on 8 but doesnt seem to work on rooted stock as the OP describes. Installs fine, shows the drivers are there but nothing changes.

Yep, ur right...my bad. Somehow I misread the the OP as 7.1 resurrection & thought they were referring to resurrection remix ROM. Damn, I really need to get some glasses.
I tried to get it working on stock with SuperSU instead of magisk & got the same results as OP. Strange.
I git it working on stock rom without any changes in files. I installed the Resurrected Kernel, Magisk 14.6, V4A Magisk version after that was done I opened the app and changed FX Compatability mode to Compatible and didn't even have to change anything regarding files or removing the Audio Fx app. Hope this helps
