I think because the phone is detected as S8. The screen feels... weird in Gear VR and I can see the black separator in between left and right lens. Is there a way to fix that?

Notifications when appear seems to be not overlapping each other. Ends up looking like two images misplaced over each other
you have to change the model no in the build.prop back to a S7 edge.
Now that the S8 is compatible with Daydream, can we flash an S8 rom on an S7 Edge so we can use both gear vr AND daydream? Or is enough just to change the build prop to S8 to get Daydream working on S7 Edge?

Does anyone know will Verizon's s6 version include the S finder and Quick connect in the notification shade?
I think on the s5 Verizon removed it. Would be great if it were gone on the s6 as well..

Click to collapse
2 screen shots of the notification. S Finder is here but not as we could see in European S6 and S6 Edge. So is Quick connect. I hope this is good enough to give you an idea

So, a friend of mine has this case on their phone. http://www.amazon.com/Speck-Products-Candyshell-Amplification-iPhone/dp/B00KXH8PBG
It's impressive. It re-routes the sound to the side of the phone and its loud and clear. Is there anyone that makes one for our phone?
Interesting concept. I would prefer a phone with good audio quality without the addition of an amplification case.

Element Case used to for the S5 when they made Android cases. It ported the audio around the side to the front, worked very well. Unfortunately they went to the dark side and only make iPhone cases now. I emailed them and they have no plans to make for the S7 (or Edge variant).

Hello all. I recently bought a s6 g920a .for the first day it worked fine.but after some days i noticed a light white horizontal line appearing below the notification bar.its not so prominent but if u look deep it can be found. When i enter the samsung test *#0*# and test the colours its only visible in Blue colour background. I am terrified.
I have the same exact line you're describing. Mine already existed seeing as to I'm the second owner so I don't know if I can add to the troubleshooting process. Mine is a metro variant

I recently got my hands on a Prototype Galaxy Note 9. Thought I'd share some photos on here before I make a video or anything on my YT channel on this. Any input on what to try on this device would be wonderful since it seems to have some sort of flag tripped in Download Mode. It has T-Mobile firmware for some reason (the earliest release build) and doesn't update OTA.

If there's nothing neat to do, I thought I'd at least share this cool piece of Samsung product development history. Plus, a flat Note 9 is pretty cool.
Oh god that looks amazing, i'm getting tired of the round gimmick

I ve just received my s5e ... working fine with my old BKB50 keyboard (from my old Xperiab Tab Z4)
(note : had to open and close the BKB50's hinge to be able to pair it to the s5e)
Now I need to configure it as a german keyboard (got it for 50-60E last year on aliexpress as I gave my older bkb50 keyboard to my sister in law for her iPad ) ...
Also need to find some software to indicate its battery level (it's included on the Z4 or on Win10/chromebooks/iPadOS)
