Touch Screen Non Responsive When Capacitive Buttons are ON - OnePlus 3T Questions & Answers

Hi
I am facing this issue recently and it seems like a bug rather than a hardware problem to me.
I own OP3T for about 6 months and never had any issues. From the very first time i set it up, i chose the option to have On Screen Navigation Buttons Enabled (mainly because of the very short backlight time of the capacitive buttons)
Recently i decided to try again capacitive buttons option because in some applications OnScreen Navigations buttons are not working flawlessly (eg Camera). After enabling Capacitive buttons the screen area where the Navigation Buttons would appear is non responsive. I tried reboot , wipe cache , but it doesn't solve the problem unless i re-enable On Screen Navigation and everything works again.
I am on a non rooted phone with latest OO 4.1.6
Thanks

White Screen on Wakeup

Strange problem that might be a common issue. I have just gone through the process of installing Android on my TyTN II and the android system itself is working fine. Although for some reason, when the screen goes off (after screen timeout) when I push the power button to wake up (and then unlock) the device the screen just comes on as a big white screen (no image, almost as if im using the screen as a flashlight or something).
I have tried 2 different android ROMs now and it happens with both of them. Anyone got any ideas?
Zeb
This has now been fixed by changing the panel type of the display from Auto to "1" in the kernel and re-flashing.

Problem with Auto Rotation and and Touch Sensitive Buttons

I just loaded up RealGinger gingerbread Rom on my i9000. Since loading, I have 2 problems:
1. The horizontal calibration seems to be off by 90 degrees. When held vertically, it goes into landscape and vice versa. I have tried running the horizontal calibration tool to no avail.
2. The touch sensitive buttons are not working properly. Specifically, the search and back button do nothing and the home button acts as the 'back' button. Is it possible to edit the functions of these keys?
Thanks.

[Q] Capacitive Buttons and Digitizer Issue

VZW SCH-i800
Recieved unit with only ability to turn off from screen when power button depressed. Screen and capacitive buttons otherwise non-responsive.
Flashing various ODIN Roms gives me the following:
1. No response on digitizer or capacitive buttons as received.
2. Response throughout digitizer except left 1/2" and bottom 3/4 inch and no capacitive buttons. As Tab is rotated, it seems that screen calibration is not correct.
3. In Recovery, capacitive buttons do not work. (Thank goodness for CWM!)
Has anyone seen this before? Any solutions I can try?
I have unbrickable mod hardware mod that I performed after a bad bootloader flash, so I can try about anything.
So far ICS and stock DJ11 allow most use of digitizer with anything else pretty much gives me no screen control.
Nothing solves capacitive button issue.
TIA!!
I had the same problem 2 weeks ago, but it recovered by itself 24 hours later, however this morning problem again, think I'll need to change the digitizer, some China supplier is selling between USD2 to USD40 only, can't even believe it's true or not. Majority USD10.

Touchscreen Issue after update to 1.4 Wear/Marshmallow

Recently updated to 6.0.1 on my LG Urbane watch. Everything was working fine for about a day and half. Then I noticed some sort of glitch on my touchscreen. Specifically the middle area. I turned on show touches in developer option and everytime I tried touching the middle, it shows an off touch a bit to the side.
I did a factory reset. Still the same thing happens. It is also affecting some apps. In LG Pulse, I am not even able to press the start button to monitor my heart rate, unless I press it a bunch of time in and around the play button.
I tried to reflash it through adb loader but on the bootloader or recovery screen, the touch screen stopped working. I can not pressed the selection or confirm buttons at the bottom.
Does anyone know any way to fix this? Is it a software issue or is there something wrong with the touch hardware on the watch?

[Xiaomi Redmi 2] Bottom buttons not working

Hello all!
I'm having a strange problem with my Redmi 2 (aka Wingtech WT88047). My bottom buttons stopped working a couple weeks ago. As my phone was rooted, I decided to activate the software keys adding qemu.hw.mainkeys=0 to build.prop and commenting out hard buttons actions, since I prefer them anyway.
After a while, they became unresponsive too. They work again once in a while, but most of the time they don't.
Okay, so what's strange about that? The strange part is that the button bar area IS working while in lock screen and when using fullscreen apps. I even wrote a simple app to test touch points and the entire touch screen area is fine. While in fullscreen mode, I can even swipe the bottom border to bring up buttons or swipe the navbar to activate one handed mode, but the buttons still don't work.
They work fine while on landscape as long as the buttons are located on what would be the top area in portrait mode.
After that, I tried going back to hardware buttons, only to find out with further investigation that they also work only now and then, but not most of the time (like the soft keys).
I rebooted, soft rebooted, removed battery, sim and sd cards, reseted, tried different roms and all to no avail.
I'm currently using LineageOS if it helps.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
