[Q] How i can break the simlock on my G N ?

Hi i will buy this week my GN, but it ll be simlock (orange france).
So how i can break it ?

A little search will lead you to a thread where it says you can unlock it with the galaxy s unlock app.
Tu peux le faire avec le programme galaxy _s unlock de helroz, sur le market. Testé et approuvé.

nice... if other 20As are rootable, i dont think telcel would patch rootbbif they arent well....
Anyway my OB got stolen so i never will enjoy gingerbread or ICS when or if it come out

Well, there's a new root method making the rounds so I think we'll se a way to get it done in the next few days.
Now, I've been trying the rom for several hours and I can say that the OS feels very smooth and stable. I haven't had any problems with ram so far (which I did have with redy's rom).

My friend used the Official LG Update Method (B2C) this afternoon, and now he has 2.3.4 on his OB. Try again...

Yup, but just a little bit. The most interesting part I found when comparing this against the euro ones is that the ram is not being eaten away. Dunno why but the versions I've tried were always laggy after some use.
The only bad thing is that we can't root yet...

The stock browser is gone after upgrading. Did it happened to someone else?

Hi everybody i would like create a thread when we can discuss about our smartphone, the p990h is the latinoamerican version, we could talk about roms that wotks properly and basebands because our mobile is a little different about de su660 and p990 and there are litlle info about the p990h. Y que tal el funcionamiento general? Mediante que proceso lo actualizaste? Agradecería que dejarás datos de baseband, ril y además del país donde estas y si sabes las frecuencias de bandas que maneja tu operador.

Estoy con telcel México y creo que lo flashe con smartflash... no problemas de señal, sólo un par de veces se me quedo la pantalla en negro al conectar el cargador

Sorry, a wrong of a noob, thanks for the help, this is not a problem of a bunch of People there are a big number of users of this version of the mobile, but there are not yet somebody that be able to programing for do a version based in v20a because i dont believe that Lg is thinking in update p990h to v30.

What about stability and battery usage? Mi battery is very bad and the phone overheats in camera zone, i'm using cm7 but is the same thing with stock

I don't think the problem is LG but Claro (I think most LA P990Hs are from Claro). They did a ****ty ROM in Brazil, it was so bad I couldn't stand it for even a month. Installed CM7 after 2 weeks....
I'm currently using stock v30A (EU_OPEN) and don't have much problems. My only problem with it is that it's a bit lagging and slow sometimes. I don't know how can LG screw up so much with it's own hardware.
I'm looking eager for CM10.1 by arcee.

That is interesting, How did you install? Installed first the rom and after the baseband? The rom is paranoid for old or new bootloader

First Baseband then rom and the paranoid for new bootloader (ICS bootloader)

Whats the best baseband/ril for telcel in Mexico?
I got paradroid on the old bootloader but i loose signal randomly (that happen even when i was on stock GB)
Battery life its terrible; half of what used to be on stock GB... well i´m not to worried cause i have only one more month of my contract till i got a new phone.

PROS:
NO callbug
one app here and there... (quickmemo and others)
CONS:
S()&*^%^hitty battery draining
V30A its a lot laggy than V30B ( at least for me)
a little ugly for my taste.
But, hey! NO CALL BUG!
I stayed away from CM10 because callbug, because i need the "phone" side of my smartphone
other than that, i will back to CM 10, but need call bug gone
MY question is: does CM10.1 its call-bug free? or not?

I was on cm10 and jump to v30b because of the callbug... from what i know they fixed it weeks ago... i am just waiting for a free time
to go back to the penguins work...

as soon as i saw your answer i jumped back to CM10.1 and its nicer than CM10, a LOT of good new features, pure and clear!
I'll try it for a while, to see if it works for me (no call bug) , just one bug for now: keyboard hides when i type a single key, no matter what i am doing ( texting, entering new contacts, or entering wifi passwords, I.E. ) reebooting fixes it temporarily.
If any nows how to fix it, feel free to point me in the right direction, big TANKS in advance to all.

Open the Galaxy app, go to Exclusives, scroll down, you will find it.

Thanks. But I still couldn't find it. I'm not sure if it is region and device specific now. I have S6 edge and kids mode is available for download in Galaxy Apps but not in my Note 5.

I just opened up the galaxy app and searched for it and found it with ease. It should be available to all current TouchWiz devices

Is this related to Xposed? Your information aren't sufficient. Your device isn't supported for what?

In my device say as same as javycrazy. My device is a Samsung Galaxy S3(i9300), say SDK is not compatible with 19 yet. At now i have cm11 with latest nightlies 4.4.4

This is a known problem. They modified some security things in recent versions of KitKat.
