Ironically, we have lots of camera ports but not one from MIUI! The reason because the camera is fully embedded in Xiaomi's framework, which is only available on MIUI.
I suggest you try some of the camera ports we have available on our mods thread, they should work fine on your OP3 - however, out of my experience the latest Google Camera app seems to work the best in terms of quality and performance. Just download it from APK mirror, install it as a system app and enable camera api2. Enjoy!

it's for twrp , install the zip and reboot
don't forget to make a backup of your rom
this camera replace the stock camera.

no sorry but you can use alternative camera already posted in noa thread : lenovo camera or htc camera and custom camera

Only for MM z pro stock ROM.
It doesn't work on my stock Umi Z Pro 0408.

I return to noa h10 because drain batery on MM z pro stock rom is too hard.
I have now my stock camera. I made a backup of it with titanium. I just want to know if i can now install gemini stok camera on noa or i can have a force close ?

If force closed, can i return on stock umi ? with restore titanium ?

make a backup of your rom with twrp and then flash the zip and reboot

look in the op of rom gemini pro 7.1.1 and you will found some camera apk for nougat.

OK. I found the Android 7.1.1 for Ulefone Gemini Pro. I extracted the system.img file and i cutted the Camera folder from here : system\vendor\app\. They are in it :
camera.apk
\lib\arm64\libjni_jpegdecoder.so
oat\arm64\Camera.odex
But i can't install the camera.apk and i don't know, what i do this three file How i make a twrp zip from this three files?
By doing the root, I do not know how can it be, the camera app has disappeared.
Is there apk?
If not, other possible solutions?

Here's mine. Extract the zip and put the HwCamera2 directory to /system/priv-app. Then reboot. The camera should be back.
I don't know how the app can disappear.
And I also don't know, if the app is working for you because I'm on VTR-L29C432B162

O have mi6 and love app huawei p10 CAM... How i can install this um my phone?
Can I install this over a custom rom? I love the pure android but not willing to lose the stock camera features

The camera app prior to the release of EMUI 9 didn't work very well at all on custom ROMs - it's something I've fought with for months; it's pretty much that it's too dependent on EMUI. Doesn't really matter which version of the EMUI 8 camera, or which ROM you're running - it's just frequently broken for most things besides basic picture taking.
The one shipped with EMUI 9 seems to work with minimal issues on AOSP, when used with an EMUI 9 based vendor image. (Yes, I'm aware that there currently aren't any released ROMs for P10 on an EMUI 9 base yet - I'm personally working on OmniROM 9, and I know there will be an official build of RR before too long as well, mostly just dealing with minor hardware differences at this point, I think, since the image is built to support multiple devices.)

You can just download the apk from apkmirror. Works on any ROM. No extras needed.
As of now the only Oreo ROM offering a fully working OOS Cam with HDR are Z Unleased and Havoc OS.
If you download the apk from apk mirror, Indeed it will work, but not fully. HDR won't work and front camera will act differently as well.

yeah, there is no such necessity of hdr mode thanks to gcam but beautymode is not working as well. I wish it worked.
and battery backup of Z Unleased and Havoc OS roms are disastrous. Anyway thanks to devs.

Now is the problem. I flash 1, boot normally but camera not work. When i open cam app it have a popup said cant connect to camera. Try many ways but cant open camera.
But, my friend flash 1, camera working! No issue about camera. I and he use the same model (Sprint). I told him that he repacked 1 and add some miscellaneous things (this is 2)
And when i flash 2, camera working! I cant explain that. Anyone can tell me why? Two GSI above is the same (ambergsi).
Anyone can flash two GSI to check that? Just flash, bcz its a good gsi, dual sim working normally, smoother than other gsi. And anyone dont know the instructions: flash lineage rom, reboot, factory reset and flash gsi image as System Image, and flash permissiver_v4.zip

Anyone can flash gsi Q without camera error? I flashed a lot, from pixel to havoc, aosip... All of them have cam bug.

Maybe you're base rom is outdated. Most if not all cam issues have been fixed in the newer Los 16 and 17.1 roms.

No, I flash lineage and cam work. But flash GSI Android 10, it not.
