Sometimes I have a sudden cursor flash on the middle of the screen. It seems like its totaly random, I can't even tell if its a cursor, because it lasts for like half a second. But it gets very annoying. Anyone else with this problem? Possible solutions? I have the Tab S2 8.0 inch version.
What OS?
I thought I was crazy but yes I also have it. I'm on 7.0 with my S2 8.0 t713

Yeah first I thought the same, like if my eye was tired or something. But then it happend several times, there is nothing we can do about it. Let's just wait for a software update and we shall see if that solves it.

Well, that would be a little bit scary to be honest. Hope it's not the case.
Holy Crap! This has been happening to me and it's driving me nuts.
Edit: I found a post for another device with a similar issue.
Hey!! I just saw this post. I actually think I resolved this issue by checking the "Large Mouse Pointer" option in the accesibility section of the settings and just leaving it checked.

I'm going to give this a try and hope it works. This is truly driving me bat **** crazy.

I had the same issue and found the same fix a while back. I haven't seen the cursor flash since turning on the large cursor option.

That's encouraging! It hasn't been that long since I changed to the large curser so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. So far, so good.

Hi All,
Got the Z1 last week about 9 dates ago as a replacement for a Samsung Galaxy S3. Generally liking it, though struggling to get used to the size of the handset. One major issue, though that I can't easily sort or find an answer to anywhere.
Basically, when I use a wired headset with inline mic for phone calls, the microphone is way too sensitive. It picks up every movement of the headphone cord, every rustle on my clothes, etc. Tried about 5 different headsets, including a dedicated Android one button Sennheiser headset. All the same. None of these proved a problem with
Anyone any ideas on what's causing it or how to fix it? Is there something simple I'm missing? It's making calls a painful experience.
Thanks in anticipation.

Did these problems with those mics occur on your galaxy s3?

Nope. In one case, the headphones/headset goes back as far as an IPhone 4, so about three years ago. This is the first time I've had the issue with any of them.

Tried that. No change. S3 better than this? In this respect only. V pleased to see the back of the S3, as it constantly had firmware issues, caused, no doubt. Random battery life issues (sometimes lasting a day, sometimes a few hours), crashes, screen redraw issues, glitchy music playback. I could go on.

Woah galaxy s3 better then this? no way, i had one it was laggy in ui, because of it being ruined by touchwiz and also the fact it was an at&t variant so it had bloatware ontop of samsung bloatware lol

I think with Root you can get work anything even the sensitivity of your microphone. It can be easy like edit build.prop that something more but I am sure the sensitivity can be managed. If I find something I will post.
I was in settings/storage, and tapped on apps. The phone lagged then opened the apps section. I tapped the back button and then the phone shut off and restarted. I am rooted, twrp recovery, but using the stock rom.
Has anyone else experienced this at all? Wondering if it is a widespread thing, or not.

Cool story bro
I've been getting way too many random reboots. Something as simple as turning off wifi or turning it back on will cause it. I'm not sure why it does it and I'm fully stock, unrooted. I've seen suggestions about clearing the cache and I've done that, but the problem continues. I'd say it does it on average once every couple of days.
Now that's a cool story, bro.

I've thought about wiping and starting over, but I'd rather find out that it's a known issue with a fix before I go through all of that work. It's not like I've been flashing ROMS and messing around with the radios or anything like that.

is it normal for the speaker phone volume to fade out when i turn the speaker phone on?
Dunno but I get this on GT racing. I'm wondering if its trying to "normalize" the volume or something

I meant on stock software, I usually run custom ROMs.
I thought it was normal, maybe a lollipop bug or something, but IDK. I'm usually on BT so it doesn't bother me that much
I have volume fadeout problem in all ROM ( Stock, CM12.1, Chroma). I try a lot to find solution at all, I think very few people having this issue, and no developer noticed this problem with here device.

It is a known issue. You can RMA. There are several threads about it.
I RMAed my phone when it was doing that and the replacement one has been perfect ever since.

So was mine until it got to 40% battery. See link above. Maybe you could do some tests
You mean you're replacement has started dropping audio also? It does appear to start from 40% onwards for me also
I was thinking of getting it replaced
I managed to upload some videos of the incredibly annoying typing lag I experience on my Note5. I've got the running process showing and you can see how weird the keypresses get at the end of each one.
Here they are:
https://youtu.be/eQ-HgtMmCFg
https://youtu.be/yW970htrhU8 (Note the touches keep going while all keypress popups and text entry stops.)
https://youtu.be/NRuLXa6m3mA
Does anyone else experience this?
Here http://i.imgur.com/6zcUZ17.png is a nice screen shot showing just how annoying the overlaping stuff can be.
Any help is appreciated.
I know it's annoying having an issue list this out of the box, but no one claims Samsung is good a developing software. I'd say go for a 3rd party keyboard. I'm using Google's and it's smooth as butter.

Wow. I'd say root and flash a ROM and kernel, but if you're having these issues while stock, who's to say you won't have other issues after rooting? Unfortunately I'm not sure what else to do. Sorry, man. I hope you get it worked out.

Hey First of~~ Mine is s6e+ I have heard that issue from s6e+ users too(with swype keyboard). I would suggest you to turn off keyboard Pop upping but that would be odd If you like it..(I like when it pops up)~
Im using Touchpal for long years, and can prefer you to try(If not) and recorded a >>VIDEO<< to show how it works on mine anyway.. Lol ignore the background music etc.. Good luck.

Thanks for taking the time to answer.. Im on 13.1.14.5.w10 which may explain that. I'm not getting any new update at the moment, unfortunately. will wait. Does the new update also improve a bit battery usage, it is draining quite fast now!

Hello I also have some flickering since last update. The left part of the big screen sometimes appears darker than the right and flickers. Closing and opening sometimes fix it, also when toggling off auto brightness. Anyone in the same case or is it a hardware failure?
