I just updated my wife's S3 mini from CM11 to LOS14.
Now the back&menu keys do not light up anymore when there is a notification (missed call or message).
How to bring it back?
It worked perfectly fine in CM11.
Any help would be much appreciated!
Just a quick update, also not working on LOS13.
I assume those key backlights are not possible in Android versions above what once came from Samsung to this device (4.x) ?
Maybe someone can still help re-activating that feature? Without notification LED, there is no way to tell if there is a new message or missed call :/

hello.. I have a problem with my s3mini i8190N.my display is ligthing up with no reason.after i push the power buton to block the screen he lights up 3-4 times and then stays black..if i leave it like this he lights up again in 10-50 minutes again and so on.like it is alive). can anyone tell me what is wrong.i instaled stock rom(many roms from december - august) and still display lights up.i instaled 4.2.2 (cm10.1,pac,aopc) and same problem. only on cm10 4.1.2 the problem disapared.it is a software problem or what?is something disabled or not present in cm 10 that makes display act normal?

Greetings everyone. Device - XT1056, GSM unlocked. After going from Cm12.1 to stock 5.1 then back to Cm12.1 a problem occurred. When I'm getting a call with screen on, the screen with caller and answer button does not appear only sound . When it's on home screen I can switch pages, but no answer options. The solution I use is to turn off the screen with power button and the the incoming call screen appears. When I'm using any app and getting a call - app freezes and navigation buttons stop working. Same solution - to turn off the screen and then answer the call. So maybe someone knows what's this about and some ways to resolve this?

Thank you for the info, can't flash it right away, at moment I'm using it with activated "Heads-Up notifications" which partially solves the problem, it became possible to enter call screen through on screen notification.

I like my new P9 so far, but I got a problem with the LED-notifications. The LED-light does light when I'm charging the device, but when I receive a new notification the LED doesn't turn on. The notifications are there though, when I unlock the device, but no LED.
Yes, I do have the option enabled at the option 'notification and status bar'. Does anyone else encounter this problem? I'm running the latest Nougat-firmware (B386).

EDIT: I was using the Do not desturb mode. Is it possible that this function disables the LED notification?

I am coming from a z1c where the following occurred depending on notification type:
When a notification happened that was the blue light color(usually everything but phone calls and messaging) the phone would have 2 very short vibrates upon notification.
When a notification happened that was the white light color(usually JUST phone and messaging) the phone would have 2 longer vibrates upon notification.
I recently upgraded to a xz1c from my z1c and am at the US .119 firmware level.
The above notification vibration differentiation doesnt happen anymore =( its just always 2 long vibrates regardless of notification type (blue or white). Ive looked all over in options and dont see anything for it =(
I miss the behaviour of z1c in this case because I could easily tell from vibration in my pocket if it was something I had to prioritize or not.
Does anyone know of a place to change this? Is there any tweak I can do when rooted to system files to change this?

Hello, I have an A71 that has had some moisture. The sensor is red for this reason. The phone works, turns on, off properly, volume up and volume down work well, but the screen has stopped working the touch. I installed a firmware and flashed the rom with an original with the ODIN utility. I couldn't make the touch function. If anyone knows how I can fix this, I'd beg you to tell me how I can proceed.
