A cannot get to recovery. Quick help. - RAZR i Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi.
I am using TWRP recovery and custom rom on cm11 base. And I love my Motorola phone.
Today my phone freezed and i did hard reset POWER + DOWN ans system is stuck on booting animation. And I cannot go to recovery. I am holding POWER + DOWN, this combination do only hard reset without recovery.
Recovery is availeble only from shutdown fhone? Or is here any hack how to get to recovery?
Update:
Now I able to shutdown phone. Battery is 0 percent.
I put phone to charger and I wait 10 minutes. I disconnect charger and phone is off. Ok. I hold POWER + DOWN . Bootloader unlock warning. I am still holding buttons. After warning is restart warning again and CM11 booting animation.
I cannot go into recovery.
Any idea?
Thanks
Thanks...

I have it.
I must hold only DOWN button after start (or restart).

BRICKED after dual recovery 1.7 installer?

Hi Guys,
I was on 1.434 and rooted my device with the Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v29.
everything worked like charm.
rebooted twice and checked that SU was there.
the next step was CWM for locked bootloaders.
downloaded the newest package lockeddualrecovery1.7.installer and followed the on screen instructions.
After finishing my device rebooted.
After the reboot I have purple/pink LED on and SONY logo on the screen. phone vibrates for half a sec every 10-15 seconds.
none of power / power +vol up / power + vol down combo works.
Can;t even shutdown the device.
The phone is in that state for 15 minutes already and doesnt seem to get any better.
Any ideas?

Well you my friend have a soft brick, Restore with flashtool and you will be up and running in 30mins max
edit: also if your BL is locked you will get this everytime you wipe cache when installing new rom,
When you flashed Dual recovery something went a little bit wrong
Maddhouse, thanks for your answer.
flashtool doesnt recognize the device.
I was able to reset it by holding vol up + power
after the reset it gets to the sony screen and vibrates.

Help with TWRP Recovery Issue

Hopefully you all don't sigh or roll your eyes at my questions, I came from iOS 2 weeks ago and the Android learning curve is pretty damn steep!
Many guides I read says to enter recovery mode by turning the phone off, then holding volume down and power buttons until the screen flashes and you should enter right into recovery, especially guides to flash a rom. I installed TWRP last week and the way I enter it is hit restart with phone powered on and as the phone begins to restart hold volume down only, then I enter it.
When I hold power and volume down when the phone is shut off, I get the HTC boot image as the phone is rebooting and then a message saying something along the lines of the phone will reboot and it counts down 3,2,1 then the phone reboots a second time and not into recovery. Plus my wallpaper gets removed. I rebooted but the wallpaper was still removed.
Two questions; Is this some sort of faulty installation of my recovery? Which way should I boot into recovery when about to wipe and flash a rom? Thanks a million!
twrp quicker reboot...

way i do it is i unlock the screen hold power down to get the power options screen then i select reboot i wait for the screen to go blank then i hold the power and volume down it will load into bootloader then i just hit whatever boot loader has the recovery on it (twrp 2.5... had a problem wouldnt do system boot just take me back to recovery so i had to do to bootloader then restart from there) then you will hit recovery i would do a factory wipe but dont have it delete anything else just do a normal factory wipe and maybe delete cache and your problem should be fixed unless there is an issue with your rom you are using then if it bugs you that much find a different one.
another not when the system reboots i think you can just hit volume down dont have to hold power also but im so aggrivated with my current issue i just hold power also to make sure it goes thew.

*Update*
Ok so after trying again to enter bootloader from power off holding volume down and power button, the same thing happened where I got the 3 second countdown but I continued to hold the buttons and I correctly entered into bootloader. So my question then stands, when flashing a new rom does it matter which method I use? (Reboot, volume down or Power on, volume down/power)
Thanks

[Q] Booted with No OS. Can't Power off. Help Please

I installed clockwork mod recovery on my phone. Had a ROM to install, however the ROM installer package wasn't working properly. I mistakenly restarted my phone after having formatted my phone to install the ROM. So now the phone has started up to the white HTC screen and will not go any further. I cannot get it to restart into recovery or to simply power down. Do I need to just let the battery die and then restart into recovery or is there a hardware way to get it to restart without tearing the phone apart? Thanks!
Maybe try power plus volume up?

Just holding the power button for 10 seconds or so. It should power off. It is essentially the same thing as pulling the battery (on phone where you can do that).

Volume UP plus Power for 10 seconds worked to get it to power down. Then I was able to access recovery. Thank you

[Q] HTC Desire 500 DualSIM Problem

I am having problem with HTC Desire 500 DualSIM (hboot 1.3). It does not show anything after pressing pressing POWER on button. The orange charging LED blinks while charging.
What I have successfully done:
-Unlocked the device (from htcdev.com).
-Flashed CWM. (for hboot 1.3)
-Flashed custom ROM. (z4dug_CleaN_hboot1.03)
The device started after the ROM was flashed. It was totally operable and everything was functional. I wanted to install INT2EXT+. I turned off the phone, because I would need to go into recovery. After turning off the phone it would not start. I could not get into recovery. Now only a orange LED blinks while charging.
Note: I did not install INT2EXT+ before, I just flashed the ROM to see if the phone would run.
What I have tried:
-Entering recovery (Power + Volume Down) [Unsuccessfull]
-Pressing power button quickly [It did not boot up the phone. It is just vibrating.]
I am currently charging the phone and after some time it vibrates for 7 times.
as far as I know, the only fix is this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/desire-500/general/dual-sim-fix-dual-sim-bootup-problem-t2924591
you need to s-off first, and for that you'll need to get it to boot (for me it used to work by removing the battery for 5-10 minutes then putting it back in, plugging it in and holding volume + power

SM-T810 stuck in boot loop, unable to enter in recovery or fast boot

After I tried to backup the device with TWRM, I am now stuck on the boot screen with "samsung galaxy tab s2, powered by android" screen.
I am unable to do anything: turn it off, power + volume up + home or power + volume down + home" nothing actually do anything.
The only think that change something is it to wait battery run out of energy, then the screen turn black but as soon as I plug the charger the same screen "samsung galaxy tab s2, powered by android" come again, I didn't even pushed the power button.
The device was rooted long time ago and was still with the original rom (5.0.1 or 5.1.1 I believe, i am unable to verify).
Any help is welcome!
bump,
I tried removing the back cover, now I can reboot the device more easily just removing the battery connector, before I had to wait the battery run out of power.
I trying the boot the device with the "volume up + home + power botton" pressed.
But still no luck.
Is there a way to boot an alternate rom on the device ?
it turn out that removing the back panel actually disable power or volumes buttons, so putting back the backpanel let the "power + volume down" reboot works, then shortly after doing "volume up + power + home" button let me enter odin mode, now I need a stock rom...
i recovered the device, i just had to install old version of twrp new version did brick the device
