Announcing SmartStay Ex. SmartStay Ex is an easy to use and free app that implements one of the coolest features in Samsung Galaxy S3, the Smart Stay. The feature uses the front facing camera to detect whether the user is looking at the phone and if the user is, then Smart Stay makes sure the phone screen stays on so the user can continue to read or do whatever they were doing. If not, it’ll shut the screen off. i'm using it on a Samsung Galaxy S Plus i9001 and is working fine. It has some problem when there is low light, but i think it is quite normal! Really good app!
It says my device isn't compatible... Any ideas?

ok i read that you are using a Galaxy S GT-i9000, that is not on the compatible list, but have you already installed that on your phone?
Because my phone (Galaxy S Plus GT-i9001) is not listed but it works perfectly.

Didn't see it on the list, but I also can't install it from the on-phone Play Store.

this is quite strange. anyway this is the direct link to the browser version of Google Play: Smart Stay Ex Lite
try to install it from there. also if i read right now on play that my device is not supported but this application but it is working just fine....
Hey, using this app at htc sensation keeps my screen on all the time. tried idle time feature on/off. screen doesnt go off the eye icon shows and sometimes only the bottom part.
nice program tho. wish it would work.

when you see just the "bottom part" of the eye it means that the camera did not find your eyes on the screen so it will let the screen turn off! In fact is not a bottom part but a closed eye. when the eye is "full"(opened) the camera is finding your eyes on the device so it won't let the scree turn off!

well it doesnt cause problem was it never turns of screen even if i leave it at table for 5mins... but at least it worked with the camera part. mayby we can find a fix.
One reason might be im running custom sense4 rom ported from htc one V (HTC Ville C2 latest RUU (1.11.401.110) Android 4.0.3 ICS)
it started to work after couple reboots and twiddling... thought to give it another try and dadam ... thanks for cool program!

Facing a strange (minor) bug in my SM-N9600 (Note 9/Brazilian/LATAM unlocked version).
The window in the GIF creator/live message become too small.. I really don´t know why and can´t figure how to resize (tried with/without S-Pen, up, down, to the sizes etc).
App works perfectly, but only in this small window.
Tried to stop the app and uninstall updates, no luck =(
Any ideas what is goning on there?

I had the same issue.
I think the window of the app scales with you dpi. If you decrease the dpi the window should become larger - this was the solution for me.
I am the one who posted that issue on the first week, unforunately no one knew what caused that issue and I had to flash a new firmware and never faced it again eversince
I'm getting black screen on Dream League on my Xiaomi Mi 9, i can't open the app at all, i listen the audio, but nothing appears on the screen.
And on Frui Ninja Free black screen too.
Anyone has got similar problems?

No problem here with any of the two games, or any other game I tried for that matter. With that kind of information, you are submitting I guess this is what anyone can inform you.

Unfortunately no.
It's a software problem.
I hope they fix those bugs with future updates.
i got same problem today when first install the game. next time will be black screen and sound and next time opened. i don't know why. it can be about game turbo im not sure...
Anyone found a solution?
Downloaded this and was able to debug this on my device via looking at logcat. Went from a black screen to having the startup page. Didn't test ingame

Looks like the app uses SSL certificate pinning. If you use an adblocking solution that intercepts HTTPS traffic like Adguard - you'll have to disable it for this app unfortunately. If you aren't doing something like that, try a different network

I don't use any Adguard, mine Mi9 is on global Rom and I've tried to open the game in different connections.
Anything else I can do? Maybe using developer options.. Because I can't understand why this mobile its intercepting HTTPS traffic.
It was the problem for me - you might have something different going on. If you dm me a logcat I'll have a quick look, no guarantees
Same problem here for skyfore reloaded but for skyforce 2014 there is no problem. It is very weird.
Try changing the contrast and colors display settings! I had the black issue with HDR YouTube when being in standard contrast, so give it a try!

I got this problem too. Playing on a Mi9 and solved by turning off the Game Speed booster in "General Settings".
Same goes to me, fixed it by turning off game booster. But, the problem appears when I closed the game while I'm in the middle of a match. Please help me to find a fix for this
Well I got a few problems also.. mine it doesn't play NFS no limit, relic run, on call of duty mobile when I play battleroyalle the game shuts down randomly, Fortnite does play well 60 FPS but when the storm shrinks it freezes for a couple of seconds but only then... Actually I can't really play anything...
I get black screens in call of duty mobile, only in the battle royale mode. Didn't get it before updating to Android 10. Probably going to move to a custom ROM, the update has too many bugs.

Yesterday i got my x2 pro chinese model top of the line 12gb 256gb varient as i was eagerly waiting foe it to play my favourite games on it you know because of sd855+ chipset and all and i was stunned due to the fact that i am unable to open the game space app to launch the games with full optimizations etc. Instead i am presented with a page telling me to recover "game space" and a tab at the bottom which does nothing on clicking. I tried to install game space 2.0 but first of all i couldn't find any apk on the internet believe me i searched like hours and hours for it but nothing i only got game space v1.1 of oneplus but when trying to install it it says an app with same same signature is already installed but i am not able to find it anywhere on my phone. I even factory reseted it couple of times hoping that a miracle will happen but it didn't. I have also posted on multiple forums of realme but atill no response. Kindly help me if anyone knows this issue or a work around. I am attaching a screen shot as well.

I also have the same issue...my game space is missing and in settings therea recover option but nothing happens when i click it...i also cant find any suitbale versions to my os ,which is colour os 6.1, old versions of game space is no where to find...pls help me to find the links for game space suitable for colour os 6.1 for realme x2 pro!, i tried the links in the thread but they are not working now

Hello my partner dropped her mi mix 3 in a river so purchased a mi 9t pro to replace it. However it uses Google dialer instead of the MIUi dialer.
We both require the automatically call recording feature.
Does anyone know of a MIUi dialer APK that works with the current global Rom?
The couple I've tried force close straight away.

I would suggest you to flash the Indian MIUI ROM for a big free experience
I use 3:rd party app "Boldbeast", on my MI 9T Pro Global.
It records both ends crystal clear, even when on BT headset.
The same goes for "Skvalex" call recorder. Works the same way.
I don't think MIUI dialer has too many options/settings, so
personally, I'd go for one of the above mentioned.
