Great tool, would it be better to take the stock retail us firmware out and people can add there own region firmware to it, and you can upload a smaller tool then.

i have the global version too, and always flash this image and all is working great, tell us if this worked for you.. but it should work like a champ!

yes you will lose root, and the recovery
but yo can root your device, and install CWM recovery using this tool

thanks i did run windows bat , but give error that program cant start because adbwindapi.dll is missing from your computer .
i think it means needed fastboot and adb drivers not exist in this folder . isn't it?

Does anyone have a zip for a splash screen for the Nexus 6 like this one?

This worked great for me; stock 6.0, flashed in TWRP, no issues at all. New black and white logo and no more lock icon at the bottom. Perfect, thanks. :good:

You can flash it on M or L! It has nothing to do with the rom you use. It's just a .bin file that sits in the logopartition. Bootloader reads it from there.

However I have a N7 as well, and I'd love to flash that zip on there also. Didn't know if simply replacing the .bin file by flashing the zip would work across devices, or if I'd need to have a device specific zip for the N7 to have it work successfully.

I don't know if the tool provided in the original thread is N6 specific. If it's not: i posted the original image in that thread too. Or maybe such a tool exists for the N7 too. I honestly have no idea.

Yeah, I have no idea. It doesn't seem to be device specific but I make it a general rule to never flash zips across devices unless I'm absolutely sure, hence my original question. I'll look around a bit and see what I can find. I haven't found anything like this in the N7 forums as of yet.

[FLASHABLE] Pixel 2 Boot+Splash for OPO [BACON]

Earlier we got boot animations from pixel 2 devices, but I am here with flashable ones to reduce work on your part.
So just download, and get to flashing!
Instructions-
-TO FLASH PIXEL 2 BOOT ANIMATION+SPLASH-
Just download the appropriate boot animation and flash through any custom recovery. If you dont have one, use apps like flashify to get the job done.
-TO BACKUP YOUR CURRENT BOOT ANIMATION-
Through a root file manager, go to /system/media and change bootanimation.zip to bootanimation.zip.bak and then flash whichever pixel 2 boot zip you fancy.
-TO RECOVER BACKED UP BOOT ANIMATION-
Again through a root file manager, go to /system/media and delete bootanimation.zip. Now rename bootanimation.zip.bak to bootanimation.zip.
Downloads-
Light version- Download!
Dark version- Download!

You have to flash firmware that contains Logo bin file.
Try either of these to set Logo file:-
C6 Firmware:

and after that i flashed full rom b320.

so i decided to install gapps by gmsinstaller or copy and paste from another roms in
/system/prive-app.
i could install it but had some bugs when i wanted to use Drive app or Maps.
so i tried to find a new way for fixing this problem.
so i flashed system.img of a europe oreo rom on my phone and worked
so i thought is better to share it for you.

If p smart firmware is working we can try flashing honor 9 lite firmware with face unlock and see if it works!

But no face unlock
I falshed face unlock magisk module and now I have face unlock

Yes there are so many new splash screens, one for every Rom and they are all beautiful!

There is an identical version made specifically for the X722 on the 4PDA site.

I don't think you would have an issue using this one. I don't see how it could possibly hurt your phone . But, I don't really know so I don't and cannot recommend it.
Should decide to try it, let us know if it works.
I have tried boot animations from other phones and sometimes it works and sometimes it just show a black screen before booting to system. Again, I don't recommend it.

Even though I am signed in and download the baidu downloader, I have not been able to download it... for some reason? If you google it you will see that it is a work of art.. I love would to try it.

No its still Twrp, its just a skin or theme. I have used skinned versions before, a few months ago. But, they were clumsy and buggy and nowhere near this good.

Unzip and Flash image in Recovery, To remove Red Wolf, flash regular version of Twrp
Note the file will need to be unzipped, and its in Chinese by default. But, no Big Deal it can easily be changed to English
After install boot to Recovery
Yes you will see Chines : Just click icon at the top of the screen > Click Gear Icon,
The bottom section is languages, click your Language : Done
Enjoy the most beautiful version of Twrp you have ever seen and your can change the colors within Twrp.
