Need an AOD kernal for note 5

I have the CrissCross Rom installed on my note 5 which is a note 7 port rom. The AOD though does not work because it needs kernal support. Will any of you happily direct me to one. Thanks in advance

AOD stands for Always On Display

Even I m looking for kernel for dr ketans n1 rom for note 5 nought ux. I want to use AOD

(https://forum.xda-developers.com/note5/development/kernel-nemesis-kernel-v1-0-t3489291) You can find AOD working nemesis kernel 2.0 here..Which is supported for devices running 6.0.1 based Ux roms..You can go through thread and comments and give it a try but don't forget to make backup of your current rom...It should support Note 7 port roms as AOD is feature of Note 7..So it may not support Note 5 korean based Ux rom as it is bases on stock leaked firmware...

Me too usning nougat based S7 edge port rom on Sm-n920g..But as per my information AOD will not be supported until Samsung will release 7.0 stock kernel sources for developers to port AOD feature for our device..And till now no custom kernel is available for nougat based rom to implement AOD feature

Don't know when Samsung will release those kernels, Samsung is pretty lame when it comes to updates. Anyways, thanks.

Theyre obligated to release it in a timely manner once requested and Samsung is great at doing so. And I can tell you exactly when they'll release it. When they actually release N for the note 5.

Which is the best Note 7 port rom for Note 5 N920G?

Can anyone suggest me the best (till now) Note 7 rom for Note 5 (N920G) with most of the Note 7 features working like new s-pen features, grace ux, Always-on-display (AOD) and have a near stock experience.
There are alot note 7 roms out there in the fourm but I am confused about which would be the best.
Also please help me and can you also suggest me the best rooting method for the phone with TWRP...

I also own a 920G variant.
I don't know about it being a complete or partial Note 7 based ROM.. but after trying a lot of different options and getting frustrated (weak battery performance, no gear vr, freezes and crashes) I am finally really happy for several weeks now: been using TEKXodus Ultra Hybrid 13.8 ROM + SkyHigh Kernel v7.6.0 (not available anymore on xda, but google the official skyhigh478 wordpress page). You need to flash kernel right after flashing the ROM before 1st boot. Highly recommend this combo.

Bought a used Note 5. Model is N9208. Already unlocked bootloader and installed TWRP and rooted. Latest stock Nougat now. I wish to stay on Stock roms always. So is there any way to get AOD working by flashing a Custom kernel only. ? Or its need a Custom rom too ? Can somebody help me please...

1)By Flashing Only AOD Supporting Custom Kernel will not help to enable AOD on Stock Rooted Nougat Rom
2)There need some editing in Framework-Res.apk as well as addition of AOD related stuff within root/system/priv-app And root/data/users/0/system_settings.xml etc.
3)Khongloi Nougat Rom N5 Based was previously supported by AOD especially for Note 5 Based custom rom BUT from Galaxy S8+/Note FE release it was outdated as Devs Released S8+/Note FE Ports
(Also there was issue for AOD brightness optimization due to AOD drivers used afaik on AOD Supporting Note5 Based Roms)
4)So the best way to use AOD is to flash Any AOD supporting Custom S8+/Note FE Port And Flash AOD supporting Custom kernel
(Only 2 AOD Supporting Custom Kernel are available ATM for Note 5 i.e. Khongloi Kernel/LD Kernel)

Thanks again for your continues support brother. I did not seen AOD in that Note SE 2.1 thread. Thats why asked there.
1) Also if u dont mind can u pls share the CSC INS JIO fix zip only ?
2) Also that Note FE 2.1 have Stock Note 5 camera or S8 ported Camera ?

1) Thanks again. So after flashing that FE 2.1 rom i need to flash this fix and reboot or Flash rom and reboot to recovery then flash or flash rom then reboot to system then after setup flash JIO fix ?

1)Easy Steps:-
Flash The Rom/Choose Temporary CSC In Aroma Installer/Flash AOD Supporting Custom Kernel/Reboot Device From TWRP/Complete Initial Setup/Again Go To TWRP/Flash Jio VoLte Fix/Reboot Device/Enjoy Jio VoLte
(If VoLte Icon Doesn't Appear Even After 2 Minutes Kindly Go To Settings>Connections>Mobile Networks>APN>Reset APN To Default)
2)Yes i am talking about Samsungvn.com/Infinity Note FE2.1 Rom thread only by dev lam1990
Note:-
If you extract Jio Volte fix.zip and See there are contains only in system/csc and system/etc folders
So before flashing Jio Volte Fix.zip You Can manually delete contains after Booting Up With whichever CSC you selected while flashing Rom in Aroma Installer from Current system/csc and system/etc folders to get perfect VoLte access
(Only Delete Same Specific files Which are there in Jio Volte Fix.Zip's system/csc and system/etc folders)
Then flash Jio Volte Fix.zip too to avoid further flashing errors due to CSC overwriting

Thers is only 1 oreo rom available at this moment "pegasis rom" but it's still in beta and camera Bluetooth is not working.
If you want for daily use This is best rom in my opinion
Fast stable without any bugs
Android 7.0 with latest security patch August 2018
Comes with note 8 aircommand+live messages+oreo keyboard+ note 8 edge panels.

SAMSUNG official firmware is the best, TWRP, just debloat, have magisk, xposed & forget the rest.
Trust me it will just save lot of time.
Every custom rom for this device is all JUST TOTALLY NONSENSE, apart from moded stock rom FROM MSR.
IF YOU WANT A REFRESHING LOOK just try launchers of your desired phones or ROM.
Like oreo launchers or note 9 launchers.

I want to run my device on stock Android rom and i not found such rom here also I could not download rom from anywhere else because xda is one and only trusted developers. So please help with a secure and pure stock rom for my Xiaomi note 10s.

You can try Pixel Experience, it's really good, but you lose some functionalities like VoLTE.
