Being a 2017 smartphone version, I think at least we should recieve the 2017 version of Android[emoji1] The question is 'when'.

in middle east the update is awful , when i restore the backup from cris my device build number had been change to lx1 it was la1 so my device get updated to fast , so i hope we will get O as soon as possible
My dream is to have AOSP Android 8 on my device :'(
Yesterday I have already written this, but is has disappeared anyhow.
I know that Android 8 on Honor 6x will come. Both devices have the same system. If Android 8 should not come for the PRA, I can port it quite simply from 6x.

So, why we had not receive, and we'll never receive, the 5.1 update...?
I'm not so sure that the P8 Lite 2017 will recive the Android 8 update.
Huawei's policy about updates is pretty clear: they don't guarantee updates to newer Android versions but only patches for 2 years.
I really hope we'll receive Oreo, but I'm pretty sceptic until Huawei will not officially announce it.

A few members in the Honor 6X forum met up with Honor/Huawei representatives in Delhi in August and they confirmed that the 6X will receive Android Oreo/EMUI 6 by the end of 2017/ January 2018 at the latest. So good news for us!
I asked Huawei about this on Facebook and they said there's no info available yet. But we should get it, it's a 2017 device, that already shipped with nougat.

I have a ZTE Axon Elite 3GB, on the backside of this device it says: Designed in the USA Model: ZTE A2016
My device was broke because after root i tried Xposed and this broke my phone.
I could only boot in the factory recovery.
After ADB with the stock rom from post #4 my phone is completely working again.
So the software is not for a tablet but for the ZTE Axon Elite 3GB Model: ZTE A2016.

Yes I was able to put that on Lux. So this particular rom seems to be based on the Chinese version that has a gold them and some Mi-Favour features. Wish somebody would release the American rom.
Due to V1.0.0B03 update was wrong and it did't work properly, I installed in my ZTE Axon elite A2016 the previous versión, from the mentioned link (http://www.ztedevice.com/support/e109bda5-84c8-4f31-8e38-6c0d5d71d432.html) which is exactly the same version I had before and it's working perfectly.

After flashing thatvron thebphone is not able to get the B04 update , OTA, this ZTE Axon is such a messy phone... Never gad so muchbproblem with a phone.

Did u get the newest firmware? B04? Cuz since i flashed the B02 from ztedevice, thai firmware, i do not get this update and the firmware is still stock on B02 and all its bugs!

No, I didn't neither. I'm not sure if this is because Thai version can't receive updates or because it is not its turn yet. When a new update is launched, it is done in several steps. Firstly, 1% of users, some days later, 25 %, then 50%, 75% and finally 100% of users in about 15 days. It is done in this way just in case the new update takes mistakes so that it doesn't affect to all users. The last update was launched last Friday so, it means we need to wait for one week more to know if we are going to receive the update by FOTA. Anyway, Im trying to contact with ZTE support in order to clarify this matter. As soon as I know something, I'll post it here.

Not yet. They have extended the B02 version to other countries in Europe and Asia, but regarding the B04 version we don't know anything yet.

NFC is not working on B02. I guess I have to reinstall the original rom! BTW, Chinese version has 6.0 ROM on beta. The usable version is coming soon.

Cuz I bought the phone from China, and I know Chinese. The official ZTE forum provides test ROM for beta testers, I am the one who has the access to the test rom. However it is not yet stable. I believe the marshmallow rom will be out this month, but combines with Chinese apps.
If the thailand rom works on Axon Lux, I believe the chinese rom will on Axon Elite. Chinese version is currently on V1.0.0B18

That's what I' hope for as theres little rom development going on atm, even hard to manually update seem to have disabled the *#*# method in android 7 how I use to update honor 6x

Same trying to go from B115 all I've tried fail although I'm not trying through adb I've only tried with extracting update.Zip to dload on sd and doing *#*# method but think since android 7 this method no longer works you have to flash the files via adb but that's a lot of hassle, I also have locked bootloader so can't try the twrp method atm

Of course it is receiving the oreo update! Huawei update politics has always been very clear with a minimum of one big version leap for every device, plus, this one was released on 7.0 and hasn't been upgraded to 7.1 just because of waiting to 8.0... Heck, even Huawei G7 (shipped with 4.4) updated to 6.0 two years after release haha

Yes, firstly Huawei said that it will be released in the Q1 of 2018, after a month they corrected it to Q2, this is the official time what they saying now, but who knows. (I apologize, for my bad English)

So today I asked Huawei about Huawei GR3 2017 being updated to EMUI 8 and they confirmed that it'll get the update in September

Yes you're right, but I have talked with the developer and in his opinion CUST and PRELOAD are only needed for switching version, for example from 9 to 9.1. Also is true that BLA-L29 Emui 10 cust and preload exist, but not for BLA-L09.
Anyway, if you don't check preload and cust in the tool HiSuite will not charge them and send the update the same, but I'm afraid to go forward

Ok but I have to tell you to pay attention because the firmware I linked is for BLA-LGRP2-OVS and I don't know if it's ok for your model.
I'm asking to someone having a BLA-L09 or at least a BLA-L29, I don't understand so much in version so maybe that one would be ok for you

Yes you're right, but I have talked with the developer and in his opinion CUST and PRELOAD are only needed for switching version, for example from 9 to 9.1. Also is true that BLA-L29 Emui 10 cust and preload exist, but not for BLA-L09.
Anyway, if you don't check preload and cust in the tool HiSuite will not charge them and send the update the same, but I'm afraid to go forward

Actually that emui 10.0.0.158 is for the BLA-L29C-CUST6351B2(10.0.0.2), BLA-L29C-PRELOADC635R11B3(10.0.0.3) and Ian not sure if it will work for the other variants. Pretoriano80 is correct by saying that we need the cust & preload to move from 9.1 to 10.

There are two 'BLA-LGRP2-OVS 10.0.0.158 on HiCloud, but no idea if any of them is for c432.

I also doubt, as there's currently no cust & preload of emui 10 for the C432, even my C185 which was stuck on 341 with November security patches and I had to use the hisute proxy tool to force it last night to 344 with December security and to my surprise it worked .

I have the links for cust and preload for C432, so that's not the issue.
Well, if anyone with a C432 wants to try, i can provide the links (i think that are the same as the ones from this Hisuite tool).
I won't test because EMUI 10 locks the bootloader and for me it's more important than EMUI 10.
