It still does not support F2FS? Neither the China Developer?
No, if you want f2fs switch to lineage os or stay with miui in ext4
Hey Guys,
we all know that our device is treble-ready. Many thanks to all the developers :good: :highfive: :victory:
For treble it is necessary to have a vendor partition. On our device the cust partition is used as vendor - so far so good.
Since i'm not a developer it would be great if someone can clearify some things:
Should i backup my cust partition before flashing a treble ROM for the first time?
Which non-treble ROMs are using the cust partition? Is it just MIUI?
Is it possible to switch between treble and non-treble ROMs?
We need a "special" recovery for treble ROMs (Redwolf or Orangefox).
Can these recoverys deal with non-treble ROMs aswell?

Custom roms dont use cust partition. you can flash non-treble rom over treble rom (i dont know about multiboot it might be work) Recoveries are not only for treble roms if you are not using miui (only miui uses cust partition afaik) you can use it non treble roms too
I have seen that some kernels support f2fs on this device when comparing with Android common f2fs branch. My question is though if OneUI itself supports f2fs or not? And if not is there a patcher to allow it to support f2fs such as by modifying the fstab? Thank you

Not sure, im not rooted for the first time. But i know back from S7e Days and Note 8 too, that F2FS Support was there, but was not Overall functional at all. I guess Ironman Rom was the only one wich works with F2FS but i wont talk bullsh*** here. But also in kombination with a kernel wich Support F2FS
Anxway i Think F2FS ist a nice thing, but if you get it to work or not..dont know. Good Luck anyway !
Hi,I wanted to ask if the S10 will get F2FS support officially or unofficially. The Note 10 has it so it should work on S10 too.
S10 F2FS
I have read that it is possible to switch to F2FS flashing a file but that it formats the memory of the device so probably the samsung will not release anything official for the "old" devices
