Good day all I have a Samsung Galaxy note 3 N900A at&t variant and would like to know if I can swap the logic board in a N9005 as I can get the LCD display, digitizer etc full front for cheap on AliExpress. Would it work ?

I managed to loose my S-Pen out of my VZW Note 2 the same day that I got my phone.. Looking for replacements, I noticed that the Note 1 S-Pens can be had for cheaper..
I am not so cheap as to not buy the correct pen if there was a difference, but they look pretty much exactly the same.. And I would like to buy a few if they are the same.
So anyone have both versions of the Note that can fill us in on the differences? Will the Note 1 S-Pen fit into the Note 2? Any other differences?
From a previous posting about Spen pen kits, I believe both function the same but Note 1 and Note 2 pens are different size.
You may still be able to pick up a Note2 pen here for cheap:

if the coupon codes still work. I ordered the pen/eraser combo over the weekend and the coupon code was still valid for 50% off.

I always wanted the edge over the note so i stiill hot the note and tge note 4 is the only one compatable with the vr.i work for samsung store and my question do you think is possible to flash a note edge on a note 4
The "Edge" is a physical 160 pixel wide extra screen. You can not add something like that in software.
Thanks i fivure that but seen it 5.7 to 5.6 i wonder to still ask i work at samsung and yo the edge is nice
My Note edge broke down and got money from insurance.
Now, I'm wondering whether to buy note edge again or to buy note 5.
Any owner note 5 used note edge before ?
Is it worth to change Note Edge for Note 5?
To me Note 5 is a regression in terms of features that power users value. It has got a much better screen (have done a side by side comparison), more powerful CPU and an extra gig of ram and touch type finger print sensor but in turn it looses wired MHL TV out, MicroSD card, removable battery among others. I do not know how much you value these features but if I could go back in time I would leave Note 5 altogether and buy something else.

I upgraded from the Note Edge to the Note 5 and do not regret the decision. I did go with the 64 gb model to ensure I have enough space. Battery life has been MUCH better on the Note 5 and I am in love with the upgraded camera. I was sold with how quickly I can access the camera. I also like the size and feel of the Note 5 much better. The Note Edge was always a bit awkward for me with the curved edge on the one side. I never really got much added benefit from the edge screen, so I have not missed it. I never used the IR port and never changed batteries on the Note Edge. At the end of the day, it became a no-brainer for me and I am so happy with the Note 5. I think it really comes down to how important are the SD slot, removeable battery, IR port, and edge screen. I am even more happy with the Note 5 than I expected to be. Not sure if that helps.

Heck yeah.

I don't really think it is, truthfully. If you have the money to buy a new device why not go for the newer device, sure but to actually upgrade from a normal working edge it doesn't offer enough. It's the same screen as the Note 4/edge, albeit a little brighter, both are 515 ppi i believe. The camera is the same the only difference is the aperature size lets in a little more light for better exposure, however this is not always noticeable as you can see for yourself in reviews by credible reviewers such as android authority and many others on youtube. If you prefer expandable memory, removable battery and the curved screen aspect definitely stay with the note edge, if you MUST have the faster cpu and extra ram for VERY HEAVY multitasking and absolutely MUST HAVE the newest handset then get the Note 5.
I want to know if my samsung galaxy note 5 phone is tampered or replaced by other hardware. Can any one suggest how to test to figure out if parts of my phone are genuine?

Hi all,
I hope I am posting in the correct section.
Yesterday I gave a try on a new Live Demo Unit of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 S-Pen. The new S-Pen has thinner point and gives better precision when writing.
Tried to use Note 8 S-Pen on my Note 5 device, it also works fine on my Note 5.
You can see the difference of the precision between the S-Pen of Note 8 (below) and my Note 5 (above) on my phone in the attached image. Note 8 pen is precise and thin, my Note 5 pen is thick and leaky.
At this point in time, the price of Note 8 in Europe is still out of my common sense of smartphone price. So I might wait for the price to be reduced even if it doesn't come with the Dex Dock. Meanwhile its new S-Pen which also works fine on my Note 5 makes me crave for it.
I have not got chance to try to change the tip of my S-Pen with Note 8 tip. So, my question is, do you know if I can somehow increase the precision of my Note 5 or earlier Samsung Notes S-Pen by only changing the tip, or I need to buy Note 8 S-Pen as well?
I think the new pen is just a better pen. I know the note 7's pen was noticeably better than the note 5's pen that I had as a loaner device briefly. In fact, the note 5's worse pen was one of the reasons that when I had to give up my note 7 I didn't stick with a note device. The note 5 was just a huge step backwards. Unfortunately, I don't think it'll be a simple tip change, but you'd have to buy the whole pen, and then it wouldn't fit inside your phone anymore.
