While i was upgrading to froyo 2.2 which was released here in india.
the downloading took some time like nearly 30-40 min then suddenly the
Screen changed to PINK color.
i was terrified.
Then pressed buttons which displayed a small PICTURE saying no connection between the phone & pc.

it said

2: get into recovery mode by pressing power key & volume down & home key.

Pink screen problem
Hi
I've had a similar problem with my galaxy s, all the whites now appear pink. I change the entire front with another galaxy s but same problem.
My screen works fine in other galaxy so it can't be a screen issue, cos the other screen is pink in my phone.
Any ideas as what the problem could be, have checked and rechecked all the connections, factory wiped the phone 3 times but with no luck.
Anyone experience anything similar or even have a resolution?

The issue seems to be with flashing roms, rather than screen problem.
Why not try re-partition with ODIN? see if that helps?

I am the proud owner of a Samsung GalaxyS GT-I9000, but I do not have any idea how they work. That's the kinda noob, I am. So I was wondering if you guys know what my problem is, that is underneath:
The moment I turn on my Samsung GT-I9000, you'll see the opening screen showing the traditional GalaxyS GT-I9000 and Samsung logo, like every other Samsung Galaxy S.
Normally after that you'll see the big S showing up with its tune. However, here comes the strange part mine turns itself off and on again but it never passes that opening screen. It gets stuck in an infinite loop. I had this problem earlier, but by simple entering download mode and by turning the phone on and off again, it went on.
But no, it keeps in that infinite loop.
I have tried going into download-mode, press Volume Up + home button etc. But nothings helps.
Anyone has a suggestion on what I can do or what the problem is?

Which Rom do you use?
You could search the wiki, maybe there is a solution to recover from bootloop
Or you could use a JIG

Today this S6 Active started to freeze randomly, before even fully booting. I'm able to ODIN a firmware onto it but can't boot into Android, and even in recovery the phone will freeze (and go to a black screen). The LED indicator up top switches from blue to light blue consistently regardless of the mode.
Any help? What would be the best way to get this phone fixed? I no longer have an account with AT&T so I don't know if AT&T/Samsung would be able to assist me with this phone... please help
Hi,so i replaced LCD in my I9515, I've been doing this with youtube tutorial. Before 1-2 weeks ago my phone boot normally but i couldnt see anything due to broken LCD. In store, guy took my battery and connected it to a naked motherboard and lcd to see if it's working. After replacment when i try to boot it's stuck on Samsung Galaxy S4 logo and wont boot further. I can go into download mode, computer and odin are seeing connected phone, but i cannot boot into recovery it's just showing blue "booting recovery" and nothing happening. When I charging it, the grey battery pops out, but when i unplug it the battery is still there like it's still connected. Sometimes when i try to turn it off when it's stuck on galaxy s4 logo it's turning off then on by itself like 2 or 3 times. Any ideas how to fix it? It's hardware or software problem? In a minutes i'll try to flash stock soft from sammobile. Phone was never rooted and no custom roms were installed.

EDIT Now phone doesnt show battery when connected just one vibrate and screen is blank, and when i try to boot it while connected it's just vibrating and still black screen. When it was connected to pc it was vibrating every 2 seconds. When I try to boot it's by itself trying to boot recovery but it's not booting and blue "recovery booting" just hang on top of screen and nothing happening.

so I don't know where to ask besides here.
I'm a phone repair dude and I'm having a small problem.
A client brought his phone to me with the problem of it sometimes not booting, getting hot whilst charging and discharging very quick.
So, I thought maybe it's just a faulty battery.
So said, done, I changed the battery. Same problem.
I can get into download and recovery mode. Recovery is still stock.
When I try to boot it normaly from turned off state, it displays the Samsung model, followed of the Samsung logo.
After it gets to the white state of the Samsung logo, the screen flashes lighty green, screen turns black and nothing further on.
I can reboot it into download or recovery mode after.
Anyone experienced the same problem?
