Hey everyone
I've tried multiple roms. Nougat especially. But the one thing i'm desperate about is Amplify and apparently it's not working. I've tried on every rom the SDK 25 from Topjohnwu but it doesn't work. The one thing I need is Amplify.
So i want to go back to a marsmallow rom (by preference RR rom) so that i can install Xposed. Anyone got a link to good rom or a name...
Thanks in advance.
Greetings from someone who needs Amplify to minimize his wakelocks...

Asking for "best | good ROM" is bullsh*t. Everyone has different needed.
Search for "CM 13 OnePlus 3T", make your own view, and flash the one you want.
Plus, create a thread for this kind of question is useless, you could have search by your own first.

SDK 23 of what ? I don't even know what you're talking about, "SDK 23" alone doesn't mean anything.
OMG! I thought this is friendly noob Q&A thread.
I was looking for some 6.0 rom compatible with xposed. I just found sultan´s cm13(the best for me), OOS 3.5.4 and RR 6.0 of Eliminater. be sure to use arm64 sdk23 but if you use magisk there is a thread specifically about xposed and magisk

I dont consider myself as noob. Nor as expert. But I already flashed cm13 and Oos 3.5.4. Installing magisk14.0.zip is always a succes. But when I go in Magisk under 'modules' and download SDK23 of Topjohnwu's systemless xposed module. After that I need to restart and i'm stuck in bootloop...
Normaly xposed should work for MM roms !?
Look at this https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-systemless-xposed-t3388268 and maybe consider magisk 13.3.

Consider flashing Xposed as a system mod, this doesn't affect SafetyNet, as long as you disable Xposed in its installer, when you want to use Android Pay or Pokemon Go. I also had bootloop problems when I tried to flash systemless Xposed, a system one works reliably.

I'm don't mind that Android Pay or pokémon go don't work. But Snapchat won't work either. It's an app I like to use.
I read a little bit on the thread someone above linked me and will try this. Will let you guys now. Now i'm back on my daily driver (RR Zenith 7.1.2). Will try to install xposed on it, and get Amplify to work.

Login to Snapchat before installing Xposed, they use SafetyNet only druing signing in.
Don't use outdated software for a buggy hack. Use Nougat, it has better battery than Marshmallow anyway.

I have OP3T, Magisk 14.0, with SDK 87.3 (it works). I have Zenity Resurection Remix 7.1.2. Could it be that it has something to do with the inbuilt Wakeblock app in both the RR settings and as an individual app... ?

Hello guys. I'm tempted to install Magisk on my Zenfone 2 ZE551ML. I have the latest CM13 Nightly + Xposed and I want to ask if Magisk has any problem running alongside these two.
Another question is if I can still use the built in CM13 root.
Thanks for your answers!
Im running on CM 13 (ZenFone 2 Laser ZOOL) stable and it works fine.
The only problem is that with xposed active the safetynet check don't pass. But its just a matter of disabling xposed and rebooting when necessary.
I dont know if the differences are too significant, but hope it helps.

Magisk itself works perfectly with Xposed installed, only Magisk Hide that doesn't hide Xposed.
So if you don't plan on using any app that checks Safety Net (Pokemon Go, Android Pay, for example) You won't have any problem.

and what about the built in CM13 root ?
I think the newest Magisk auto removes it when you flash it.
But I had manually removed before installing magisk on mine.
But in any case, if I remember correctly you can just remove it thru the SuperSU app before flashing Magisk.

It depends on how much you like xposed and its modules? in my opinion I prefer xposed over any supposed performance or battery upgrades nougat has.
Depends on what you use Xposed for. If enjoy heavily modifying your ROM, you should probably just stick to Marshmallow.
If you only use Xposed for basic mods like the YouTube ones, there's workarounds available now that work on Nougat.
Or you could use rr nougat and still pretty much have a great level of customization while still having the latest android. This is the ROM I use and I have no complaints get updated frequently as well. I don't really care for xposed or oos that's not why I got the phone. I got it because it has great development support here at xda and cause it's awesome of course.

I've stuck with Nougat since getting mine. Hopefully, rovo89 updates Xposed for Nougat in the near future. I love the deep layer of customization that comes with Xposed, but OOS with Magisk is pretty damn awesome.
Xposed is nice, but OOS has great functionality and what I am missing, can be added with Magisk. So no, no miss. Also, Safety Net works which is nice.

Like can you use something like snapreffs or xinsta with magisk?
Magisk doesn't really have much in common with Xposed, they do completely different things. Xposed modifies how an app runs while the app is running by interrupting commands, while Magisk simply replaces or inserts files in /system at boot. The level of customization that Xposed offers simply cannot be achieved directly with Magisk. It might be possible to modify the original Instagram app to include features from snapress or xinsta and then install the modified app.

Hello,
I have finally updated my Huawei P9 to NOUGAT (EVA-L19C185B385 ) and installed Xposed Systemless with Magisk 13.3 and it seems works good.
However, after several restarting the phone xposed stopped working !! (massege: framwork installed and not active)

That means that there is no Xposed for Nougat at the moment. Rovo89 is the only developer for Xposed-Framework and he wasn't able to port it to Nougat due to fact that Nougat has some major differences to Marshmallow. We have to wait until Rovo89 fixed the biggest problems.

after install this when any apps get updated, its showed incompatible with current system version. but the apps work good !!
is any one has same issue
1. Remove Xposed manager
2. Reboot phone
3. Install xposed manager
4. Activate models
5. Reboot phone
It should work good now?

thanks man. I know it's such a pain I have to delete the installer then turn off the module in magisk and delete it, then reboot then install the installer redownload the module in magisk, which is another reboot itself. Then I have to turn all my modules back on in Xposed then a third reboot. It's a process every time.

Hello everyone !
I will develop a new app like Magisk but very easy to install and manage.
Opened this thread because i am tired of bootloops and rom installs i had and also i am curious how many people are happy with Magisk.
Feek free to post your thoughts here.
I also need a name for this app so please suggesting one will be a good thing.

Magisk is a pretty amazing app. One stop shopping for many of my Superuser needs. I use it for audio mods anti G-spy stuff and much more. Magisk works great for me but I love having options. Good luck, interested to see were you go with this.
Regards

Hmm... Interesting. Magisk is beast honestly. I was a tried and true SuperSU user and nothing else for years and it took me awhile to make the complete switch to magisk but it's amazing. Not onyl is root reliable, I always pass safety net, and there are tons and tons of modules for magisk which makes it that much better. Development is booming for Magisk and the modules.
1. Are two reserved posts necessary?
2. Magisk is pretty easy to install and manage already. Especially with the number of supported devices.
I'm all for options/competition but why not contribute to Magisk?

I've never had any of these scenarios happen. When I dirty flash ROM with Magisk already installed, I flash over top and everything is same as before dirty flash. If I uninstall, then reinstall, obviously it's a clean setup. I've never had bootloop 9nce I don't think. Your most likely not dirty flashing, thus it is compressing imag over image essentially when trying to uodate. Mgisk says restore stock boot I'm going before updating, which is what dirty flash does. If you would either dirty flash or just flash stock boot image before doing any of the things you've attempted you most likely won't bootloop
Yes. I have encountered alot of situation -bootloop and softbricks- where the culprit is magisk. I eventually thought not to use it but I'm obliged to use it for its quite awesome module mechanism. Thefore, every possiblity that involves magisk with no bootloop is appreciated.
Magisk 16 and Samsung Galaxy S5=Safety Net failed

No offense but you seem to like to get people hyped with nothing to show for it so there's going to be some scepticism.

Hi, i was wondering which one is superior and if so why?
I see people installng both , isn't one of them enough? Or am i missing something here.
I currently have atmos installed on nitrogen oreo 8.1 on shamu.

I use both on my OP3T and they work quite well together.
Edit: and since the latest update to the Unity V4A Magisk module, also on my Nexus 6.
