Hugo and I wanted to provide an update on releasing Mi kernel sources, as this is a question we get very often. I can personally guarantee that we will release the Mi 3 kernel source within Q1 2015, and will also be releasing the Redmi 1S kernel source in December 2014.
The reason we have not shared kernel sources yet is actually quite simple. Hugo explained this at the press conference in India last week. The kernel source code for these devices contains a significant amount of source code that will be used in two upcoming models. If we release the kernel source in its current state, we will be revealing more than we would like to about future devices. We will change this going forward, but right now it is a constraint we have to live with. We hope you can understand this position, and we're very sorry for the frustration we may have caused!

I am on Aosp Extensed For A7000 and there is a Offline charging problem in it...Can anyone Provide me A patch for offline charging .....I tried 3-4 zips....none worked...Help me Guys!!!
Currently all Nougat based roms are facing offline charging problems(bugs). There are no standard fix for this, where they are out. You will get informed.

I've been using RR-N-v5.8.2-20170326-gemini-Official(along with 7.3.23 fw) in Mi5 since many days. It's one of the most stable build for our device. Though many new builds have been released already but I am satisfied with this old build as the rom is best in battery backup and performance, no battery drain or any other issues. But there is one problem that the rom doesn't support Quick charging. I tried flashing recovery.img from LOS but that didn't boot.
So can anyone make this build QC supported pls? That will be a great help to me and also for many. ☺
no, update man!
If you want to stick with that build, I believe you just flash any kernel that supports QC.. it's kernel related stuff..you can pull up boot.img from the later builds..

This is such great news for custom ROMs, custom kernels and official twrp etc.
Now that our devices are having the ability to unlock the bootloader, I believe with the release of source codes custom development shouldn't be to far away.
It's exciting times for our devices. :good:

would a gcam port use the full potential of our Camara?
I've been running Pixel Experience Plus A13 (official by Pulkit) as a daily driver for about 10 days now and I'm super happy with the experience. I want - if possible - to get back the ability to fast charge my RN10Pro (sweet). I've looked around and there seem to exist different kernels some of which have fast charge support but without confirmation that I can combine one with the ROM I'm using, I'm afraid to proceed.
So - if it's possible - how? Please specify what I should flash and detailed instructions on how and if it would require a clean install of all files.
Any info will be much appreciated, thanks.
