usb otg not detected by twrp - Sprint HTC One (M7)

i flashed twrp in my sprint htc one and when i plug an usb flash disk by otg twrp d'ont detect it (works in another phone) please help !!!

I know this thread is 5 years old now but I've just found a solution which I haven't found anywhere else.
I bought an old but good tablet (Galaxy Tab Pro T-325) with not working touch and OTG only worked in Android, not in TWRP. I tried 3 different OTG adapters and 4 different USB mice.
The solution was to flash very old TWRP. OTG only worked on TWRP 2.7.1 or older.

Wierd USB OTG issue

Hi, My HTC one is not recognizing USB over OTG. My first suspect was OTG cable itself, but it is working fine with Xperia,Nexus and even Xiaomi.
My HTC is S-off, unlocked rooted, Sense 6 with toolbox installed with stock 4.4.2 and build 5.11.401.10 . Then I flashed elementalX 3.4.1 -14.12 which I was anyway wanted to do. All working fine except OTG. I tried USB stick mount and OTG helper they are not detecting any drives to mount. I can see the usb led light is not blinking when I am connecting to HTC one. It cant even detect usb even in recovery (twrp 2.6.3 which I now upgraded to 2.8 but still no success )
Please help to resolve this issue, i am not able to pinpoint the root cause. Its first time that I am trying OTG. I tried even looking into android.hardware.usb.host and handheld_ core_hardware.xml but not sure what to do.
Please help
No replies yet I seek help from htc experts. Search across forums has not resulted in any success. I have anyway upgraded from stock to elemental kernel and from twrp 2.6.3.3 to 2.8, but still stick mount is not detecting Any drives. How to conclude if it is a hardware bug or software mods can enable it.?

Well assuming your mounting it in Settings>Storage>Mount USB storage.
This needs to be done each time you connect the OTG/USB
And the same when in TWRP select Mounts then Internal Storage at the bottom of the screen and select OTG to mount it.
I don't know what else to suggest. I use OTG without any problems when in Android os and recovery. Never had to modify anything settings wise. Just mount the device manually through setting and it works. If your cable works with other phones what about the usb stick. Maybe backup the contents and format it with a fresh fat32 file system and try it again.

Deleted everything No ADB No OS No USB

Hi all,
I know there are lots of similar topics but this is a little bit strange because I can't use adb and usb also.
Device rooted and TWRP 2.6.3.3 installed. I tried in different computers and cables but computers do not recognise phone. It just boots TWRP. Is there any way to copy files in the phone without usb and adb?
I have replaced usb port a couple months ago due to charging problem, now charging ok but pc doesn't recognise and says "unknown device".

why not?
you could look here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=52135024&postcount=2
also here for usb-otg: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=61449330&postcount=23
see if any of those work
or just flash a newer TWRP and use MTP transfer
twrp has usb mtp function
enable it
I changed usb socket. Now I'm able to connect phone but it only charges when phone off.

USB OTG problem of mi 5

01. USB OTG stopped working after falshing TWRP 3.0.2, flashed eu 8.5.2.0 last, OTG doesn't get connection. used connector is shown in iamge 01 which works fine with other devices. pendrive is fat32 formatted. then flashed global stable 8.2.2.0 but luck is same, OTG doesn't work anymore. can anybody help getting this right plz?
02. In phone, ROM memory is showing 57GB but when connected to PC, its shows 53.8GB. why? where is this 3GB gone?
At last i've relocked bootloader with version beta 7.7.6, but no luck!
Did the adaptor+stick work before with THIS phone?
Try another adaptor and/or another usb stick. Not all adaptors and sticks work with all host devices.
@Andrei, yes this adapter worked great in this phone before.
i tried different adapter but no luck..

USB OTG detection issue

Hi there,
I have this odd problem with USB OTG detection issue on my z3c
Android does not detect my USB OTG but TWRP recovery does. ( in recovery mode everything is fine)
TWRP recovery detects my USB OTG and I can do various operation such as exploring through using TWRP file manager or creating back up on this USB OTG and etc.
My phone has latest LOS 18.1 and I did change "USB CONFIG" in developer options to " transfer files" but still no USB OTG detection.
p.s.
when I bought the device it was working fine and detects the same USB OTG.
last year I gave my phone to some repair shop to re-flash stock rom as I had some software issues. After that I could not use my USB OTG on my phone....but back then I was thinking this is some hardware problem from charging module. recently I flashed LOS 18.1 hoping mentioned issue to be solved but still no USB OTG detection on android.
Seeking for any good advice as I`m frustrated and also disappointed little bit.
tanx in advance.

Good evening, I have a z3 compact purchased from a Chinese website. GPS does not work, and in some cases when I change the rom, I have this problem with OTG detection, in some cases in ROMs 5.0 and 5.1 it does not detect OTG in twrp. On ROMs above 6.0 TWRP detects OTG, I don't know if it has a connection with the TWRP version. But to view OTG content I use MIXplorer, I can view files, move edit...etc

Unfortunately using MIXplorer did not change the situation. It seems my phone feel nothing when I insert USB OTG. Not even a blink reaction.

Damn, this is not good. Today I flashed the MIUI 7 version. I think this version is beautiful, it doesn't support all current apps, but it's battery friendly. This cell phone purchased on AliExpress does not work the GPS unfortunately.
