What editing apps are you guys using?
Are there any that work great with the SPen?
I need one that lets you edit the blur from live vision photos. It seems to work great for me most of the time but once in a while it doesn't pic up the lines just right and the blur needs to be added near the subject of the photo.
Good question

Do any of those let you edit the blur in a live vision photo?
I want the photo editing app that was on the note 7

I do a lot of image editing....I have teen age girls so you can imagine.
It takes a bit of effort but the results are the best I've found.
Photo Management| gallery : fstop
Healing and object removal : touch retouch
After shot blur: afterfocus
These programs provide the best performance and ease of use. Yes, you have to do two steps in two different programs, but I find they do a really good job and it's not that difficult.
I've tried to attach a before and after I applied a blur and healing on my daughter's acne.

What do you mean by "edit the blur"? You can still change the blur intensity after the shot was taken. Or do you mean editing the edges to clean up artifacts or to make the subject less cardboard-cutout-y?

I need to be able to clean up the edges. In some pictures there is a small Gap between the edge of the subject of the photo and where the blur begins. I'd like to be able to edit it to add the blur to those spots.

Hmm... BTW, the wallpapers that I post here are unique and are either snapped or created by me using photo editors in android
They look more beautiful when applied as wallpaper , than just viewing them on this web page.

Well if you long click on the image and open it in another window it does display its full resolution. Wasn't trying to step on anybodies toes.

Hello! Ive been using a Huawei Honor 5x for about a year now >.< after breaking my m8 and z3... BUT! I had a couple questions, looking around i found a lot of people talking about how good the "Auto" mode was on the phone >.> and had some questions.
Has anyone here tried playing with the Raw files on the OP3? Or tried doing any POST work to any of their photos to clean them up//make them look any better? I was going through comparisons between this, the Pixel, and the s7 (which id never buy in america because there are no ROMS and the phone is slow as nonsense) AND looking at those photos from the perspective of someone who owned an Honor 5x for so long...
The three are really not significantly different in any way that i could tell. Sure the other two expose better in low light...but then, how much room do we have to play with in post with that? lol cause if we can force ISO a couple stops lower and still pull that detail from POST work im pretty sure POST photos will look much, much better than the auto photos on any of the other phones.
Not to mention, because they are very only lightly different here... we have the fastest phone, and if the photos are correctable, that means that we could have at least some awesome POST work pictures, and the fastest phone o.o there really wouldnt need to be an upgrade.
So i was curious, has anyone played with the raw files to see what they could really get out of the OP3's camera or have most of you here only played with auto modes or manual modes saving to jpeg without editing. And if so, whats your experience like!

o.o so i been looking at it >.> and i think its pretty coo, but working on various settings and what can be done, ALSO, wanna be able to take more pictures in better lighting. BUT
IMG 1 and 4 were raw files, and actually, its raw output is pretty exciting
I switched from the S7 (930F), because I use only the photo part of the camera and after trying out the OP3 (not the T), i realized, that the higher MP count lets me crop more and details were better. Sure the S7 was a better all-rounder, but I had it for a year and also got tired of it
I am having the 3T for 2 weeks now and the results are in line with what I was expecting.
I did not have time yet to make a full test drive (planning it this weekend), but here are some RAWs I edited in-phone or in PS(+ Nik Plugins from Google).
The noise is obvious in some shots after heavy editing id's say more than on the S7 results, so I am currently trying some DFINE2 profiles to reduce it (and planning to try out Topaz Denoise as well).

Awesome! o.o use photoshop more often eh? Im a big fan of lightroom for editing as its noise removal is kinda nuts in a lot of ways, i think i use topaz detail?...
ah no, i use fustion express. Pretty good tho if i ever need to dive out of lightroom for a minute. Yeah you know if i can run a couple tests in lightroom i think ill be able to remove that noise o.o A little fine tuning and im sure it will get down.
Do you like photoshop for raw edits? When i plugged in my T5 RAW files to photoshop >.> it was giving kinda limited options for editing those files.
those are some awesome shots though

o.o for example here is the noise removed from that shot, though the initial jpg compression was a little heavy haha, still took the noise out of the clouds.

I use PS, because I need an all-in-one tools for my photos. Also I use a DSLR and for some sceneraios I need stacking. Well, it is the most complex app I'd say, but it does everything.
Camera RAW 9.4 is preety good for RAW edits for me

Just a quick question to current 3T owners, how has the camera fared at capturing moving subjects? Is it as horrendous as some people make it out to be?
HI EVERYONE!
is there any way or some application that lets you use the 2 rear cameras at the same time to take just one photo and thereby increase the image resolution? Mixing pixels or by interpolation, I do not know.
Somebody knows?
Thank you all!

Well the camera does somewhat support this as it does use both cameras when you use the live focus option. Not exactly what you're looking for but if you're good at editing photos you can get it done.
When using Live Focus, it'll take a pic with both lenses and you'll be able to export a copy of the "wide" angled pic and one of the zoomed one. Only drawback is that the zoomed pic is already zoomed so you'll end up needing to zoom in the wide pic to match it.
Again, not exactly what you're asking for but only thing I can think of. I believe this is the only option as one lense is zoomed in permanently.

Has anyone noticed that on photos a big part of a photo is not in focus, just only that part on which you click for it to focus... I have these situation a lot happening.. And it is not aperture/portrait mode... One example is attached..

I am not using AI, that issue is with every photo
Physics. It‘s f1.6 on a fairly large sensor.
Same here, too shallow depth of field caused by f1.6, you can avoid it by taking a step back and zooming in a bit to get the same picture..
For a lot of people this feature is what makes the camera on this phone so good.

Indeed. More DSLR-like behavior is always welcome. I love being able to have shallow DOF it's a big plus and makes photos look so much better.
That's terrible! There's no option to select the focus that you want... If a take a shot from a hamburger, only the meat is focused... It only focus the center of the pic.
Try using the wide angle lens for such closeups
What is needed to modify existing images to be able to fit correctly as wallpaper? I have an hand full of images that I want to use as a wallpaper, but they are to "Zoomed in" to fit correctly. I am unable to zoom out to make it fit to screen better. I am only able to zoom in more.

It's because photos, whether in portrait or landscape, don't fill the 19:9 screen ratio without cropping. Easiest thing to do is take a screenshot of the photo in Google Photos while in portrait and use that. But then you have huge black bars on the top and bottom. It would look like the attached.

Would there is a way in PhotoShop, Paint, or any other photo editor to make an adjustment of these images?

Sure but that's a lot of time and effort. You can just take the same photo and zoom in a little for less black bars but again you'll be cropping the left and right sides. Vertical photos do have far less cropping but they do have it nonetheless.

Set the canvas to a ratio of 19:9 and then import the picture you want. Again, that's a lot of work compared to just taking a screenshot. I doubt you'll get much better results. Remember that pictures loaded here are very compressed.
