i am searching for roms for my sony xperia z c6602 are there any ?
If your device bootloader is unlocked or allowed to unlock, then any rom in this forum are available for you.
You can try lineageOS for the most smooth use experience and best battery usage. You can also try Resurrection Remix or XenoHD if you like more features and more customize, which are both made from Lineage.
Ive tried them all.
Hello, could you tell me what - if you're currently on Lineage - customization are you using? Launcher, icon packs, whatever (as the customization is limited by non-existing Xposed for Nougat). I came to Lineage from Ressurection Remix (aiming for longer battery life which many users are claiming) and as I had lots of troubles transfering to LOS (wrong ADB drivers, losing TWRP,...) I really want to squeeze as much as possible out of this ROM as I got it to a working state. Thank you

In simple terms stock based roms will use the Sony skin and many of Sony's apps - typically the developer will have tweaked the build to improve performance or used the most recent version of Sony apps from higher end devices (the Z1 for example). They may also add some extra features - (using the volume buttons to skip music tracks/advanced reboot menu).
Custom Roms won't have any of the Sony features and generally will be closer to unskinned AOSP (Android Open Source Project) in appearance. They will mostly have some unquie features and be more options for customisation than a stock based ROM. Developers can also release higher versions of Android than Sony, allowing the user to experience Kit Kat long before Sony release a build. They tend to perform better than stock builds because they are less bloated. Sony has significant facebook integration within it's builds for example, similarly whilst it's possible to ignore it, there is a lot of secondary marketing within a Sony build trying to get you to use their music/video/games services. Most of these apps are heavy, slowing down the device. The SP copes fine, but their are definitely smoother custom roms out there.
Ok thanks !

i'm really bored and i want to try a custom rom on my c6903 but i really don't know witch one is stable and battery friendly. Any sugestions? I want a 5.1.1 , was thinking about CM 12.1 but i saw in the main post that it has some bugs and in fxp thread users said that there is some camera problem.
I was also thinking about it days ago. What is the most installed custom rom by the people of the community?
I will not ask what is the best one, because each one has its particularity, but it would be good if someone could indicate some roms, especially now that we know the Z1 will not get more official updates.
havent noticed any camera problem on cm12.1 roms but a big problem some users had including me was some screen problems..(screen's sensitivity is higher than usual and makes some problems) ... it has great multitasking experience.. good battery life .. lower sound output than official builds on default . I tested many ones and my choice is resurrection rom .its better than others... but i switched to official 5.1.1 pre-rooted with some customization ,became a beast... but i prefer the resurrection but i had screen problem ...
hope i could help you
Hello I have Xperia SP C5303 2.05 actually with a rom 4.4.2 CM11 (Actually i can unlock the bootloader but i have problems doing it)
Well i wanted to know what's the best rom to xperia sp c5303 .205 in performance, battery, quality
first I installed Lollipop 5.0.2 (CM 12) the battery worked good 1 day duration, playing, on internet, apps but so the performance was so slow and bad, but i think Xperia SP wasn't made to Lollipop I don't recommend you Lollipop if you want to install it on your Xperia SP and that's the reason so I back to Kit kat 4.4.2 (CM11) but i have a little problem with performance so the touch something isn't normally responding in way to I need to press strong the dispay to type in the keyboard or the UI stops sometimes, all else works nice.
The generic rom gives me wifi problems because disconnects alone or doesn't go far, (also it's obsolet)
so I wanted to install the master rom v5 and that all goes well except say it gives wifi problems because disconnects, just doesn't work or get error when connecting. I've read that in comments
(is that true?)
Also I saw PureXperience 5.0 (4.3.1) it's a custom rom I think so because it looks like sony z3 with lollipop but I read something about it the people saying drains battery fast and the phone is hot the mostly time (I had that problem in 5.0.2 cm 12) so I want to install a good rom but I don't know which one so can you tell me which one is the best rom or recommend me some and the why
Thanks!
Hi
I installed many roms on my Xperia SP
Cm 12 was awful but when i installed cm 12.1, my mind changed about lollipop
Cm 12.1 was really great, i didn't have the problems that i had in cm 12
But for Cm 12.1 you should unlock your bootloader
I suggest that you wait for Z5ExperienceSP 5.1.1
That works on LBL
Z5ExperienceSP 5.1.1 [LBL]
Hi what is the state of these Android 7.0 custom ROMs I have seen some available but what are the current bugs?
Does the camera work and etc?
I tried compiling using the instructions here: http://developer.sonymobile.com/ope...uild-aosp-nougat-for-unlocked-xperia-devices/ - ended up getting a "(remote: size too large)" on the userdata.img, and couldn't boot the phone. I might try again some other time, see if I can get a basic build working.
Has anything changed in the last month?
The Xperia Z3 Compact looks like my ideal phone... but not if there's no support for new ROMs on it.
Hello all developers, android experts.
Now i be interested to upgrade to nougat or oreo ... because the performance and UI

Resurrection Remix 5.8.5 N by CodeZero and AdrianDC:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xp...rom-resurrection-remix-nougat-v5-8-0-t3508087
Both roms are great but ... i have excesive heating on my device. :crying:
i shutdown gps, nfc and restricted sensors. but this no solve my trouble.
Some help i need.
Best regards and thanks for the Xperia Mint Development
I don't know what is the cause, but i had the same issues on my Xperia V with the Resurrection Remix 5.8.5 and solved it by installing HEBF battery saver. Now i'm back on stock rom, but i remember it was configurated in balance mode with most of the battery-saving tricks activated. The only think i noticed was a perpetual mild cpu usage (with both cores always running around 30-40%) caused by random apps, such download manager, google play services and so on, even after a clean installation. You can check if you have the same issue by installing Kernel Adiutor and a simple task manager.
