So yea...was wondering if anyone has it yet. Just from looking at the picture im around if i got this case it might peel or damage the screen protector....but i love the case design and simplicity.
I'm thinking of going with this. Wonder if they'll make a red case to match my white G2

I just bought this case the other day and I love it. It protects the phone well enough while still being thin and easy to slip in/out of my pocket. I don't use a screen protector so I can't attest to that aspect.
..
Well its a nice case to be considered for G2....but the same confusion is also arising in my mind regarding the screen protector....whether it would be compatible with it or not.....because as the pics are displayed it might peel off the screen protector....if anybody has used it please post the pics.....

Are you high, drunk or both?
so i got my screen protector and case
screen protector -
goods - comes with 3 screen protector, easy to do
bad - kinda streaky, also when i was peeling off the adhesive, i pulled it too fast and bent the screen protector, so basically you see the bent mark so thx god i had 2 more
but pretty good screen protector 7 out of 10
case - i like the simple look so im pretty happy with the case, a bit tough to take out once you put it on, but thank god theirs no battery to pull out
more pic and product

Happy to say i found a red case that's similar to this style. unfortunately I have to remove my bodyguardz clear skin from the phone for it to fit.
I don't think I'm ready do that. Do any of you guys with this case have a skin on your phone? How's the fitment?
To the OP
I got this case today. It's the best feeling case I've used to date on any phone.
I don't use protectors but I think this will play nice with them. It doesn't come way over the bezel like other cases.
I love this case and its design. So sturdy and nice feeling.
LG G2
Its a ***** to take off.....but yeah it feels good and looks sleek

just ordered this case, hoping it will fit nicely. Anyone have it? just ordered the sprint variant.
had same thing for my s4 i had white, the only bad side with silcon being white it got dirt stains QUICK was awesome case though
Havent seen that but the corners of the case look a bit thin. If youre not clumsy than that looks okay. It looks kinda awesome though

cool i ordered the black red one.... for my new g2 woot. ty for your input. not very clumsy only dropped my htc 1 once or twice and never fallen on a hard surface usually fell on the carpet.
not my type, but hope it fits?
My wife has the same case but for her GS3 but black on black, it is also available at five below if you have one that is local.
Hey guys,
Really quick questions that I don't believe have been answered so far on these boards.
Going to put an order in today for a Spigen Slim Armor but have 2 questions for those with the case:
1) Is it difficult to remove the phone from the case? I like to dust my phone off every once in a while.
2) I'm eyeing the shimmering white color. Does anyone know if this is a matte or glossy finish? My initial choice was gunmetal, but my worry is scratches looking like crap on the gunmetal color after some use.
3) I've seen mention of edges being too sharp. Do they make the phone uncomfortable to use for extended periods, or is this just a nitpicky thing?
Thanks in advance!
I have there Neo Hybrid (which I love) and it will take off the back cover each time I remove the case. If the Slim is build the same, I would guess that is going to be your only issue. It does fit very snug though which I like about Spigen cases.
Yeah one youtube review I saw said that the case tends to bring the back cover with it, but this was with the leather back.
As far as I know the leather back is not suppose to be compatible with the case.
I'm still on the fence about it
I m currently using the white case and its not bad at all. It doesn't have the old Glossy finish like the one for S4 did, but its good nonetheless. Its not that hard to take the phone out of the case. And also like mentioned above it does fit pretty snug.
Thanks for the response. So is the finish on the white one semi-gloss? I'm not sure how to interpret your post
I as well have the Neo Hybrid on my G4, and she's a tight fit. i like that, but, for me, getting that last corner of the trim ring on for me was a bear. i havent taken it off since, lol.

it's not a gloss finish, it's a smooth matte finish, almost pearlescent
Thanks for all the responses guys. I went ahead and ordered the shimmery white one.
To be honest I love my diztronic TPU but for some odd reason it collects lint like no tomorrow, much more than the diztronic TPU I had for my G3.
I'm guessing it's due to the complete matte finish on the edges for the G4, whereas the G3 had glossy edges that didn't "grip" my pocket lining as much. I know it's just dust, but it's super annoying to bring your phone out to check something and be greeted with abnormal dust build up
I wish I hadn't taken off my case to check. I found some very small micro scratches around the bezel. Can only see under bright light at specific angles but knowing they are there really messes with my ocd. I've only had the phone for a few days. I'm sure that any note 8 held under lighting would have the same scratches right? I'm wondering if my case caused them. It's the unicorn beetle pro and it has a hard plastic piece you attach to the front/sides before popping it into the hard rubber/plastic shell. It's very secure. They could have been there as soon as I got. The phone... I didn't inspect the bezel under a direct light like I did today. Doesn't move in it whatsoever... My s7 edge didn't have this issue because the bezels on it aren't shiny like this phone. Is there any possible way to lightly polish them out? They are seriously tiny. Can't feel them with a fingernail or anything. Any idea if the bezel is stainless steel on the orchid gray model or is it just painted plastic? Or should I return it and get a different one... Still in 14 day window.

That's why I never use a case that has hard inner shell or frame. Sorry to hear about that.

Which color is more likely to show micro scratches? The shiny silver bezel or the black? I know I read somewhere about the black bezel paint coming off. Also I don't see how the case would of caused this. It doesn't move around in the plastic shell whatsoever once you snap it on. I know I could find the Sam kind of micro scratches on every phone under the right lighting though.

My black one has them too. I bought mine used, but it was only a month old. The previous owner kept in a case and a screen protector from day one.
Well, dust between the back of the phone and the case caused some scratches at the bottom of the back glass. And the bottom of the metal frame has scratches that look like they are from taking the case on and off. I just put a clear protective skin on the back and frame and you cant see the scratches.
The worst is the screen. He used a TGSP with the dot matrix pattern. These notoriously allow dust in under the TGSP. Well one speck of dust in the middle of the screen actually etched a spot into the glass. Its tiny and only visible under bright direct light. But it's there. I switched to a full adhesive TGSP and you cant see it at all.
I'm OCD about my phones too. I wish mine was 100% mint. But on the other hand, I only paid $540 for it (sold my S8+ for $585), and I can relax a little knowing its NOT perfect, if that makes sense.

Man it's such bs. When I look at it in normal light in my room I see nothing.. Looks perfect... But when I use the camera flash from my s7 edge and shine it I see little lines everywhere along the bezels.... I can't imagine any note 8 without these? On the other hand my s7 edge has none bcuz it isn't a shiny finish like the note 8... Is the black bezel trim shiny like the orchid gray? I'm considering ordering that one.
Wait so you got a skin that goes over the actual Bezels of the phone?
Idk what to do... The bezel looks perfect under normal light... Can't see any lines "scratches" or anything, but when I take a photo of it with flash on, wherever the actual flash hits I can see these lines. Is this normal or what.

If it were me, I wouldn't worry about it. And I'm pretty OCD. But only you will know if you're happy with it or not.
I just don't get how all these micro scratches have appeared. Definitely not the case... They are in areas where the case doesn't even contact the phone. I really want to know if all orchid Grey note 8s will have the same "scratches" under flash. I have a hard time even calling these scratches. And it truly does bug me because I spent a lot of time researching cases etc to maintain a perfect phone.
Send it back ASAP. Your mental well being is far more important than that. LOL

Someone else told me it was normal and just the brushed aluminum
I've only had my phone a few days. I've had it in a case the entire time. A unicorn beetle pro. It has a plastic piece/screen protector that you attach to the front and it kind of grips the sides. The phone nor the case moves at all. Then you put that into the hard shell. I highly doubt the case scratched my phone at all. The bezel area has a lot of these micro scratches. I can't see it in normal lighting.... Doesn't show up in normal pic... But if I turn on the flash it does. Is this to be expected on every shiny bezel? I'm trying to figure out if I should return it and get a black one.. Thinking the black bezel isn't shiny like this and wouldn't show? Can anyone else with a Grey orchid take a picture of the bottle.. Bezel with flash on and see if you have these same lines?

Thank you bro.
I had exactly same with my previous Gold Note 8 which was in a UAG Plasma since day one, I think that's just the way it is...scratching easily. I will not check my current Black Note 8, don't want my OCD to kick in )
I remember the Note 4 with the chamfered aluminium it had... I had it in otterbox commuter since I took it out from box and after a while when I took it out to show it off to someone, it looked like I rubbed it against sand paper
PS: I think the S6/S7 had the best frames, that matte aluminium never scratched!

You're absolutely right. I was gonna say that my s7 edge with the dark gray non shiny bezel has no issues like this because it isn't shiny. BTW I called a Verizon store and sent the pics to him. I was trying to get him to check the other notes. He said every single one will have those lines he said it was the brushed metal effect or something.
If they were actual scratches they'd be seen easily in normal light. Now I'm really just wondering if the black would hide these lines better. I did see a thread about the black paint peeling which worries me.
I felt like my wife's orchid grey S8+ his scratches and fingerprints better than my black one did.
Your phone is fine. It's just the brushed metal. All of them will do it if the light hits at the right angle.
