These come with a free glass screen protector too. Ordered one Friday and got it Saturday! Case fits well, is double layered but not bulky. It has a nice lip to raise the screen when laying it face down and has a kickstand.

This has been my go to case since my note edge. I love the kickstand and holster, plus it's very thin. I ordered mine yesterday, with the free glass screen protector. Estimated delivery is Monday. Will post a review in a few days!!!
I have used Seidio surface cases for a very long time on numerous devices, when my Seidio holster recently broke for the note 5 I decided to try an Encased slimshield. instead of $30 for a replacement surface holster the Encased slimshield with holster is like $16. It is thinner overall than the Surface. the plastic used for the case and holster are thicker than the surface it is very similar to how the Seidio surface used to be made before they changed their design and started using the rubber inserts. The kickstand is integrated into the holster instead of the phone case, which I prefer (I had trouble wireless charge with note 5 surface). I can't speak for the note 8 version because it won't be here until Tuesday, but the only drawback I have with the note 5 version is the cutout for the s-pen is smaller than the surface's
---------- Post added at 12:19 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:58 AM ----------
I did order a Seidio optik for the note 8 and got the free glass, the glass doesnt fit properly, there is a black border on all 4 sides of the protector which blocks view of the edge on the sides of the note screen but doesn't even extend all the way to the end of the note's screen, and the protectors corners are squared and cut into view of the screen as well. there is no adhesive in the clear part of the glass protector and it drastically increases the pressure required to register on the screen. there is an Audible click when you press on it from the 2 glass surfaces between screen and protector. It didn't even last the first day before it found it's way into the trash can
I got the Encased because the surface wasn't available yet. So I took my phone out of the case I already had put the 2 piece case on and made sure the pieces were as snug as they could be. Picked up the phone the bottom half slipped out and now I have my first ding. Thanks Encased.
My original case, Spigen Tough Armor, fits in the holster.

I haven't had that problem with encased slim shield on my note 5, but my surface on my note 5 would come apart on it's own until I wedged some paper behind the case seams
Pics please in the holster? Does it "Stand off" your waist far? I got the DILEX version and not a fan of that style. Been rocking a surface for years, from the beginning. Seidio is THE only case I consider.

Just like my other Surface holsters, this sits close. I was reluctant to get the Dilex because it looked like it was going to stick out.

Its actually quite a waste to buy such a case, it will provide no drop protection, and if you are just using it for improved grip and to avoid fingure prints, use a carbon skin with matte finish, or just buy a full body wet install screen protectors.

any suggestions for a carbon skin?

This type of case isn't for drop protection. That's a given. The full body protectors either don't cover the sides or tend to peel away after some time. I had a vinyl skin from dbrand on my M7 and loved it but the M8 skins aren't out yet and this case only costs $1.49 + $1.99 shipping.

almost same thing here
I just got mine today except the bottom is fully cover... well outside usb and headphone jack. I didn't buy this for drop protection its purely to keep the aluminum edges from dings and scratches as well as protect the slightly raised glass on each side of the phone. Mine is clear which I like as well you can still see the silver and HTC branding I like it.
be very careful with this case...had this for my M7 and a small drop onto my driveway and the phones edges were scuffed up really bad...
It looks like the official TPU case that comes for free with the international version.
Yeah like others said this is not protective case, i had the same for my HTc one m7 and when i dropped it i had a shock on the back. Be careful mate

Can you post a pic of the one you have?
Sorry at work wasn't able to respond until now.
I see a lot of people talking about the Spigen cases for the Edge, and while they are nice, I actually liked the OBLIQ [Slim Meta] Ultra Slim Fit [All Around Protection] after trying 4 different cases. You can read my review on Amazon. I didn't get it free or discounted and am not associated with the company in any way. I just like the case.

The other 3 cases I tried and will be returning:
Spigen [AIR CUSHION] Bumper [Ultra Hybrid]: http://amzn.com/B00SV63SAY
Spigen [RESILIENT] Impact Protection [Capsule Ultra Rugged]: http://amzn.com/B00SVCITW0
TUDIA Ultra Slim LITE TPU Bumper Protective Case: http://amzn.com/B00UM254V6
Quick question. How does the heart rate sensor work with this case? Is it still easy to activate and record the heart rate? Or do you have to put your finger in at an odd angle? I would be using this feature a lot during runs and workouts so this is important to me. It looks like the Spigen case has a different cutout for the rear.
Do you have any recommendations on an actual screen protector? I'm not looking for a tempered glass one as I'd rather just have an anti-glare one that protects it from scratches rather then a fall (since I have the case for that)
Can you elaborate as to why you didnt like Spigen [AIR CUSHION] Bumper [Ultra Hybrid] ?
They seem to be out of stock of your suggested case until april 9th.

My guess for the Spigen is that it's not very good at protecting the device.
I'm waiting to get my edge on Wednesday to put this bad boy on it!
Hope the OP is correct.
Returning a spigen case...the protection and feel was poor.
I am currently using a verus case. Protection and feel are great...but for some reason it doesn't work well with wireless charging.
Just ordered this one. If it doesn't work, Ill try Urban Armor gear I guess.
I have both the Obliq and Spigen Thin fit cases and I agree with the OP. The Spigen case doesn't grip the sides of the phone so the only points holding it in place are at the top and bottom. Because of this, it feels like there's a little bit of flex in the midpoint that pulls the case away from the phone.
The Obliq, on the other hand, rises up higher along the sides and feels better in the hand.

FYI, I ordered my Obliq on Amazon with the out of stock message you saw. It shipped out the very next day, which was weird.
I ordered this case last week in White with the brushed looking back and I cant wait until Friday to try in on my new White Edge! Will post a few pictures with it on when I get the phone Friday
Haven't tried the case OP vouched but totally agree with him on the Spigen case. TBH, I'm still searching for the perfect case for the S6 edge. I'm gonna try what OP suggested and will follow through and give update as soon as I have it
This is my everyday case for now! I also bought 2 of the Verus card slot cases but will only use those when I'm on a trip or going out of town. This case looks and feels great. It maintains the thinness and doesn't add any bulk.
I tried a few cases as well but like the Ringke SLIM case the best. The gold one is well polished and feels premium.

hey mate thanks heaps for this post and the review, this is just the case i was looking for. i spent ages trying to find something decent. this is great also because they ship to australia from amazon. i was almost going to spend $70 on a bloody Samsung case at the Telstra store!
Hi everyone, anyone whi tried both cases?
I have the google one in tpu (adopted) and I want to try another one.
Wich is the best? Look very similar.
I've ordered the spigen one this morning, then I saw the Ringke.
Maybe I could cancel the order and take the ringke,
if it is better.
I had the Spigen on a Nexus 5 for 2 years. The only issue I found was when I held the phone in one hand I rested it on my little finger, which after a while was a little uncomfortable due to the sharp bottom edge of the case.
I ordered one for my 5X but with the phone being that bit heavier? it was too uncomfortable, so I got a Ringke fusion which I'm really happy with.
The Ringke slim covers the whole bottom edge? so shouldn't have that particular problem
I was torn between these 2 cases as well...ultimately I went with the ringke because it covers the whole bezel as apposed to the spigen which does not cover the top and bottom. I do have the case however I won't have the phone until Monday to put it in. I may get a spigen latter on as they have a white option and ringke does not and I wanted my black 5x to have a white case with the black finger print scanner.

Same here - went for the Ringke for the all round protection which is missing from the Spigen.
I just got my Ringke Slim to replace my Spigen Thin Fit. The material feels exactly like the Spigen which is great. The Ringke feels slightly "slimmer", on the sides and on the back, the camera bump protection is still there but slightly less pronounced, you have to look real hard. I like this case a lot, and it wraps around the whole phone now. No more sore pinky finger I hope. If you are looking at both of these cases, I think the Ringke is a better all round choice.
Ringke Slim. No question. It's the perfect case, in my opinion. It has full protection, unlike the Spigen option, and the form fit/cut-outs are absolutely perfect.

(ignore my obnoxiously thick tempered glass screen protector. Replacing it with a thinner one soon.)

I just wish the Ringke had a space between the sensor and the camera and didn't have an open area then. Other than that, love it. The cover for the headphone jack was a bonus!

I don't use cases for all device. But I prefer Spigen Brand.
I was asked by the seller to review some cases for both the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.
I have received some of the cases and will be posting my reviews in one thread in both the S7 and S7 Edge forums to keep the information in one place and nice and neat.
They make quite a few cases for both the S7 and S7 Edge so my reviews of the case for one would apply to both versions of the phone.
Pictures will be in the "Click to show content" buttons to maintain a clean thread.
Melkco Ultra thin Superlim Soft TPU for Samsung GalaxyS7 Edge with screen protector (Transparent)
This case is unbelievably thin.
The thickness of this case for the S7 Edge is roughly the same as the distance the camera sticks out from the back of the phone.
I have never seen a case like this before.
The case is crystal clear and will show off the color of your phone, or like mine the dbrand skin on the back.
The case has a slight lip on the front at the top and bottom to prevent scratches on your screen should you lay your phone down screen first.
This case will not add much drop protection, it is to prevent scratches, please do not purchase this thinking it will save your phone from a drop, that is not what it was designed to do.
This case will protect your phone from any scratches and scuffs from the day to day use of your phone.
While doing that it will be basically invisible and add literally no bulk to your phone.
I will add some pictures here of this case on my Titanium Silver S7 Edge with Blue Carbon Fiber skin from dbrand.

Melkco Kubalt Double layer case for Samsung Galaxy S7
I received this case quickly and in good condition.
I purchased the black inner with black outer style case that does not seem to be an option right now.
This case could and should have been a five star case, there was really only one confusing issue with this case.
The top of the case the two cutouts are not quite right.
The cutout for the mic is made at an angle, and while it is placed over the mic, it looks out of place.
There is also an extra cutout in the center of the phone that is unneeded, like it was for an IR blaster that was never put into this version of the phone.
Other than that this is a nice case.
There is a nice soft touch coating over everything that makes this case feel great in hand.
The rest of the cutouts are all perfectly placed and sized.
The soft inner layer should be able to absorb shock from drops and the hard outer layer should be able to take the brunt of a fall.
There is a small lip on the front of the case to prevent you from getting scratches on your screen should you lay your phone down screen first.
If you are looking for a case with impact resistance, great feel in hand, and general protection, this one will do it all.
I will attach some pictures here for you to see this case on my black S7.
**** 4 out of 5 stars ****
More cases are to come soon, I will update this post with new reviews within a week or so.
I bought this case and screen protector from their official site. if anybody is going to get it, pay attention to the screen protector installation instructions. the screen protector, if applied correctly, is hardly noticeable. its smooth for the touch but if you scratch it with four fingers it creates a gouge that disappear after a while (depends on how deep the scratch is). i don't like it as much as i like glass protectors, but its better than nothing since i got the impression that the glass protectors are not playing nice with the fingerprint sensor. other than that it is a solid case as far as i can tell. i had a cheap clear TPU case until i recieved this case. the TPU case is so tough and big that the device felt like those anti tank rugged phones. the ringke is much more elegant and refined on the edges, i like it and recommend it. i had ringke on my nexus 4 and it was and still holding on without disintegrating in the test of time.

This is the case I ordered and I'm looking forward to getting it tomorrow, didn't get it with a screen protector tho. Hopefully it's a good case either way
ringke make awesome case, I been using them for years...I love their loop hole design for lanyard...cant beat it for 14 bucks
I ran that screen protector for like 2 days and it started to peel, fp reader didn't work with it either
Absolutely loving the case! So much grip! It also looks premium so that's nice too

i think if you are using it without case or with case that has almost no lips, then you might peel the protector from the swiping actions. Mine is still pristine for almost 2 weeks, with a ringke case obviously
Case looks ok, however I like better if there is all around extra lifting for protecting the screen. I am using Spigen Liquid Air, nothing special it protects. Using on P6 as well and already smashed the phone on concrete several times when felt out from pocket during riding motorbikes). Unfortunately, Speck does not make Presidio Grip case for Pixel 7 that would be my no 1 choice.
Screen protection: Reminds me for L&K protectors, but biggest downside that will pill up from sides (depends on case) over time. There are similar non glass protectors using GEL to stick properly to screen, those will not pill up easily. Got on P6 like that, and still holds after a year usage.
Possibly the best case for this device, bought off your recommendation and loving it. Why other cases not covering the camera visor the same exact way?....
Just ordered the case based on the reviews here and in the webpage. I also ordered the camera tempered glass protector. Currently, I have the Spigen rugged armor case and Spigen glass screen protector
