You can also check out Phantomskinz and Skinomi. I've had great success with all their skins. Normally go for a colored carbon fiber skin. Very durable stuff.

Dbrand

I tried skins for about a year and just hated them. They always start to fail on an edge seam. They collect dust/debris there and that causes the adhesive to fail and it just works its way back from there. Once the edge looses its grip and you slide it in your pocket a few times it starts to "unroll" from that edge and its all over :/ The orangepeel on the screen was a deal breaker too.

I got a skinomi and it was fine

Not even once have I had this problem with Dbrand. So far had it installed on my Nexus 6p, Galaxy S7, Pixel XL, Macbook, and Note 8. Even slickwraps I've tried and it's never come off like that.
Personally I prefer Dbrand for their precision.

I was talking about Zagg and body something.. ~$30 for the set both times. Every single piece over the course of a few months started to "roll" on the edges. When that happened I was constantly trying to stick it back on but by then the damage was done :/

I'm sure it's just the way I installed it. I'm not a professional skin installer so it fits perfectly for my needs. It's off by a millimeter or two. If you're looking for 100% precision fit then I'd recommend a case over a skin.

I've never used a toastmade skin before how are the buttons? I'm curious about trying one.
Also does the skin just stick on like other decal based skins or does it use some kind of adhesive.
Thanks.

The skin has an adhesive back and sticks directly to the phone. Like the phone skin, the button covers stick directly on the buttons. I was nervous they wouldn't stay on but they're still there! The installation isn't as straight forward as a normal skin but the results are worth the effort. I recommend watching a youtube review prior to installing one.

question on screen protectors.

which do you think is better:
phantom skinz or invisible shield?
i tried both and invis was cloudy looking. phantomz is great but it leaves dents and impressions that won't go away.
sorry if this is the wrong place to ask.

Just curious, but do you even need a screen protector? I've gone since the release date of the Hero until now and I have 0 scratches on my screen... it's pretty resilient glass they used

yes you should have one and id recommend a body glove case as well. with the known dust issues, anything helps.

I had the invisible shield, put it on right as I unboxed the phone, it looked perfect. Starting peeling off about 2 months later, still has a nice fit on the screen but everything else is gone. Kinda mad I spent 30 bucks.
My friend got the ghost armor on his blackberry and i think its pretty good. I would recommend that, its a bit more pricey but well worth it.
Go to BoxWave.com
Look for the Clear Touch (anti-glare)
They make the screen look VERY black when off, yet allow you very clear access when on.....make sense?
Very protective....very hard.....custom fit.
I have been using since right before the TiLt.
This is NOT a flimsy screen protector.
And I have ZERO bubbles with this brand!
Thanks,
Bubba.
I have the invisble sheild full body kit...i dont use it if you need it PM me, 5 bucks

How the hell did you manage that? I am being way careful, and with a screen protector, I have a slight scratch on the screen... Aww good though.
I have some POS ebay $3 for 3 screen protector, which has a sticky side that loves dust. The outside is clear and has some "self healing" scratch removing stuff.
BTW I found that once the protective film is removed from the screen protector ( prior to applying) it collected fine particles of dust which caused bumps and little vacuoles. It has a high static attraction cover which Can be neutralized so the protector can be positioned and moved.
The way I did it was with windex. I sprayed and wiped/removed any clinging dust. Then shook off violently any windex, so only really small droplets were left. Placed the protector in position, which now slides with a firm push. Gently squeegeed off any windex with a towel at the edge of the screen, preventing any from going under it. The result is a bump free stuck on, reuseable dust protector.
I am using
8 gauge clear vinyl.
$2.99 a square yard from local JoAnn fabric. Works very nicely. For me has been better by far than the $20.99 invisishield crap bestbuy originally put on my phone. I do not have a cloudiness issue, and bubbles are easily worked out when first applying. 8 gauge is fairly thin, if you want something a little thicker you might go with the 10 or 12. 4 gauge was way to thin for my taste.
I've had my Hero since Day 1 and carry it in my pocket and there isn't a mark on the screen. I don't think you need a screen protector with this phone.

If I recall correctly, they'll replace it for free at one of their stores (probably in your local mall.) They told me they had a lifetime warranty so any time it peeled off they would replace it.
i got one of those cheap-o screen protectors from ebay. so far its working fine since i baby the hell out of the phone. That ghost armor is lookin really good i might just have to try it myself.
I put a invis-a-shield on my phone right off the bat and had it on for the first few months but in January it started pealing off then just vanished(fell out of pocket somewhere). The phone has gone 4 months sans screen protector and the screen looks brand new and is much slicker then with the protector on in terms of friction. The phone body is starting to show signs of wear, big chunk missing in the body near head phone jack from a 12' fall down the stairs and the end call button is stripped to just red.

I'm not sure how that specific one is, but i just got myself their snap-fit shell case (http://www.boxwave.com/samsung-nexu...amsung-nexus-s-snap-fit-shell/bwpdd/tzw-zfkz/) and it looks / feels pretty good on first impression.
I also got their cleartouch crystal screen protector and my screen finally looks gorgeous (like it always had, whenever I'd peel off my old protectors).
the cleartouch protector doesn't reach until the top and bottom edges of the phone - but that's probably a good thing, because the NexS has a curved glass.

Hi,
thanks for the link. There don't seem to be many about on the internet, £10 seems like quite a lot for a screen protector unless its amazing.
I did see This one on amazon but again don't really know whats its going to be like...
Hey Guys. In my experience your gonna really want a full body protection with this nice watch.. Im in the US and ordered my R from Korea and they had it to me and cleared customs in 2 days. But the Skinomi full body kits are the best on the planet and you can get them in clear like the invisishields or in nice colors and textures like woodgrain and brushed metal and carbon fiber on amazon. Heres the link you will need. http://www.amazon.com/Skinomi®-TechSkin-Replacement-Definition-Anti-Bubble/dp/B00NAGSYQS
I've used the full body on a galaxy gear and a gear live and it is really nice to have bump protection on the whole watch and the under side covering protects the watch well and stops it from sliding on your wrist so much if you don't like to tighten your band really tight. And as a problem I had experienced with my gear live the charging pin connectors didn't like my body sweat too much and wanted to corrode and pit. If you can find some extra material in the kit I would suggest cutting a piece to fit over the charge pins while u wear the watch so sweat or oils won't have any chance to damage them. have fun I'm loving this LG.
I have to disagree on the Skinomi stuff.
I bought that for my original Moto 360 and ended up removing it. I just did not like the feel of it on the watch. It is pretty much like saran wrapping the watch.

yeah i like the idea of the kits but i think they look a bit ugly. i like protecting my stuff but i bought the watch for its looks and i dont want to hide it under a protector to have something perfect that i never get to see.
saying that i will be gutted if i chip the body!
i am worried about the face and how easily that might scratch

Anyone find a good screen protector yet? Right now I just took one of the extra ones I had for my M8 and cut out a circle of the appropriate size. It works alright except not all of the edges are tightly adhered, so it looks kind of bad.

I just bought Skinomi® TechSkin - LG G Watch R Screen Protector + Full Body Skin Protector
It should be here in a week... will post back my findings.. Note: not a prime eligible item =[
ArmorSuit MilitaryShield - No Go
I installed the ArmorSuit MilitaryShield screen protector for the G Watch R, and it is pretty disappointing. It is all hyped up and packaged as if it is premium, but the soft plastic cover is far from premium in application. There are a bunch of tiny pits and lines on my screen protector, and it looks like it doesn't belong. I might as well have left a piece of factory plastic on the screen. I even went as far as installing this in one of our clean rooms at work, and while there was no dust, there are still some odd artifacts that show up in the adhesive layer. I've had much better luck with the hard plastic-like screen protectors that don't require a wet application. I recommend you skip this particular brand.

I've tried the Vikuti CV8. I was not able to fixate it and then properly swipe out bubbles. How did you guys do that?
Since I wasn't able to apply it without ugly bubbles and reflections both protectors are now in my trash can.
Has anyone found a tempered glass screenprotector for the g watch r?
If you see a cheap "XtremeGuard Screen Protector" one don't buy it. Has a rubber like feel to it when trying to swipe the screen.

I tossed it a week later, it never really settled out. It had too many imperfections that were visible at an angle. With the screen on, looking straight on to the watch, it looked perfectly fine, but when it was at an angle and light hit, you could see all the imperfections. It made the watch look cheap. Maybe I had a dud. The search continues....

Cases! Screen protectors! OR Naked!!!

Having bought my first note and seeing as it's a pretty looking thing I was dubious about getting a case, not only because it'd ruin the aesthetics of the device but it'd make it even bigger.
That being said I did find some which keep some of the aesthetics and provide some decent protection.

£7.99 Spigen air case, dimpled back, not the prettiest but it has the curves where the note 4 has them.

£1.29 Pack of five bog standard screen protectors, for some reason the p+p is £1.95p ?? Meaning you pay more to get it to you than you do to buy it? Strange people.
Anyway, this is all next day delivery so i'll pop a screen shot on to show what they're like.
What cases are you guys using? Should I have got something else?
I wonder if HunterF will be doing one for the Note 4, that'd be the one i'd want over all.

Definitely. I have both and my ip6+ screen scratched from top but nothing
Happened to note4. Both devices are in seperate pockets with nothing else. Therefore what i say is definitely true in my case.
I wish I had the bold confidence of anyone that dares to go bare with this phone. I'm not taking any chances, I have a screen protector(just a cheap plastic one for now till they sort out the glass designs) and a Tech 21 case on it.
At the moment i'm awaiting my protection, I simply don't have the balls to go without, if I had to I could buy another one but I'd rather not.
Plus the case's i've picked look decent, obviously not as good as without but I'll bet it bounces better should I drop it.

For the love of god its only a phone that will be obsolete in a few years. A screen protector and heavy-duty case are overkill IMO.

Yeah, its only an $800 phone that costs a lot to fix if you drop it & shatter the screen. How silly for anyone to want to protect their expensive items from wear and damage
Overkill or not, I think it's much wiser to get a nice-looking case & a screen protector than let your expensive phone get all dinged up and look like s**t, but to each their own I guess.

If he's got money to blow then fair enough, sure I could buy another too but I'd prefer not to throw money away either.
I found with the Ringke Slim case I got scratches on the aluminium edges. Not sure if it was the phone or the case. I am now considering getting a new case but am not sure.
The neo hybrid scratched my bezel a little but, due to it being slightly loose on the edges, I have a ice Uag fits tight as hell, which you would think removing an applying it would scratch the bezel but no, no new scratches since I got the Uag case regardless of how tight the case fits. And I mean TIGHT.
Also any tempered glass screen protector that fits this new screen, without the halo effect by some of the more known and expensive brands, fit like ass.

Wow that's extremely nice. I like the the UAG cases also. But I don't have any right now. Using it with just a screen protector. I always seem to run caseless at some point with every phone I've had, typically using a case within the first 6 months or so. I seem to be going backwards with this one lol

I do have it installed.
Not a bad screen protector, applying it was not hard. It wraps around the back, but I get straight line bubbles on the edge, which is not awful. Works with the cases, but sometimes cases push the bubbles in and you'd have to keep pushing them out. Overall, 5/10.
Screen sensitivity is okay, seems a little dry and there is a friction with the spen.
I'm using the same. It'll do for now. I may try the Armorsuit one next as it worked well on my N7. I rate it as a 6/10. Same issues as stated above.
This screen protector is waste of money. It's easy to apply but there will be a lot of bubbles and is sticky as well.

Screen sensitivity is okay, seems a little dry and there is a friction with the spen.

This screen protector is waste of money. It's easy to apply but there will be a lot of bubbles and is sticky as well.

Do you also see the two rainbow effect lines on the left and right sides of the screen? Annoying to say the least.
4/10 for me

Here is my installation, fairly clean. No complaints but that might change
I hate this protector more than ever. It's so rubbery that my nail drags along every time I swipe or scroll. It's worse than the wet applications I've used in the past.
this is a pos product. Yes it does go on clear and wraps around but the plastic they used is so sticky that you cannot scroll and drag your fingers much less an spen. This must be the worse product ever!!!

Does this one have any holes or cutouts for the sensors? I can't see in the photos.
EDIT: NVM, I looked it up on Amazon, I don't like those cutouts. I'm gonna order it along with the protector for the Galaxy Tab 3 and use the Rinke one as a template to cut out of the other one. I've had a Tab 3 7.0 from IQ Shield conver on my Note 7 for a year and like it. Took a couple of tries to get the holes just right. Trying to get a good tempered glass solution is a headache, this option will keep me from going crazy till someone gets it right!

I bought one of these with a couple of Ringke cases but my note has not arrived yet...
Yours looks pretty clean, Can you come and apply mine for me? haha
How is it for smoothness? a lot of people here complaining about it being "sticky" i thought all protectors were like this for a few days... Has it gotten any better over time?

Yep, it was sticky but it smoothed out. I used alcohol on it and it helped clean the sticky surface. For me, it's great with the s pen. The annyoung thing so far is sometimes bubbles get pushed when I put the case and force it. Otherwise, no problem.
Here are some tips,
I did he steamy bathroom thing when applying. Make sure you have a clean surface.
I held a flash light between under my chin so I can see dust.
Have more alcohol pads on you just in case.
Air pressure can to remove dust or stickers, but the air can is better.
Check out the video ringke.com/go/guide
For those of you having problems... did you let the screen protector stay without a case for a few days as per the instructions? If not, that's why you're getting bubbles and lifting on the edges.
Hey guys a little update. I ended up removing the screen protector and I installed the Spigen wet install.
The reasons I removed it are:
It kept getting sticky. After I cleaned it with a alcohol cloth, it gets sticky within a few hours or a day sometimes.
After a clean installation, and being out of the case for a while, any case you put in, no matter what will get the edges pushed, which leads to some air gaps, then it creates bubbles.
Pushing our bubbles with such a sticky screen will damage and stretch the screen. I will upload a picture later of what had happened.
Overall, do not recommend for long term, for short term, it is alright.
I am trying he Spigen wet one, and it seems smoother, but the clarity is not as good as the Rinkge one, but still more than enough for me. Most cases for the note 8 really suck and will push most screen protectors up unless it is a case friendly screen protector.
Happy hunting.
This is my best screen protector for curve screens e.g S7,S8.
You need to have a very clean screen no dust and you be fine. Case friendly.

Try IQ Shield, I have it ordered. Better than Spigen from my experience with the S8+ versions.
