You don't need working drivers for that video - it's Liverpool - they always play in slow motion anyway so no problems with camera lag

Interestingly that endgadget article has a post that this phone does not actually run Windows Mobile... but some sort of rip-off.
Other sites that sell the device don't state WM6 (or any version) on their features list.
Does M$ charge alot for putting WM on a device? If so that could be one reason for the low price.
Plus it only has a 30 day warranty, I believe the tilt has a 1 year(?)

Uses "some sort of Windows Mobile operating system". The real one is already a buggy mess, go figure that one...LOL

I bet it will perform better than the Kaiser, and I'm not kidding (sadly).

It will probably perform better than the Kaiser because it is using a basic OS that is more like a calculator than a Windows Mobile.
So, it probably boots up in 5 seconds, switches apps in a fraction.
But it also probably doesn't have TouchFlo, PIE, or many of the other features that make the Kaiser/Tilt nice.
It is like any of the other numerous phones out there on the market (like from Verizon) that have a slide out keyboard with a proprietary OS.
This of course is assuming the statements above about it not being WM6 are true. If it indeed runs WM6 then I am sure the performance will be equivalent to the Kaiser.

gsmarena doesn't specify that P970 has gyro while other sites say yes.

Can you recommend me a practical app or game to prove it?

I played Brothers in Arms 2 with gyroscope. Without it game becomes very hard to play.

The application uses the gyroscope sensor to improve stability. You can install this free application on your Android device. Just look for "steady compass" or "kalman compass" on the Android Market.
I already install it and it works like a charm.... I dont have to activate my gps to know where is North is...

Thanks guys! The gyro works flawlessly in Brothers in Arms 2! It made me glad i didn't opt for the Galaxy SL. Maybe i'm deviating from the main topic but can anybody recommend me more virtual games and apsp that utilizes the gyro?

Glad it helped. New high-end games all have gyroscope support. But i don't know if our phone plays them flawlessly. It has 1 core at 1GHz. I play them on iPad 2 to get maximum joy. Cos i hate lags and freezes during game. I experienced a little in BiA 2. Even got killed because of that. So i don't have feedback on them but i can suggest this:
Labyrinth from illusion games. Good game if you ask me.

to resolve my want for in car sound I've created app for an old, but very usefull device 3Sixty.2
app allows all options tuning on the fly.
for now it's not free.
but if someone wants to test I could send free version (fully functional).
This is my second application
it was designed for landscape orientation (Nexus 7)
but also supports portrait for using it with phones (Nexus 5).
one restriction for now it supports only 4.2.2 android and newest.

Hi. I have two different versions of 3sixty.2 processor, v1 and v2, and a palmone zire 72 to control them.

Apt-X Support

Have not found clear info regarding this -
I know that my Note 4 supported Apt-x.
Does anyone know if Note 5 supports the protocol, and if so, do you have an official source?
Apt-x to me is the only thing that makes bluetooth streaming tolerable.
For those who don't know - it eliminates (to my ears) the extremely loss of fidelity you normally get when using bluetooth a2dp type streaming.
Once you hear the difference, you can NEVER go back

It's NOT shown on the http://www.aptx.com/ website. (Odd, as the Edge+ _is_ on there.) I believe it does support AptX, but I don't see any "official" documentation stating it.

I was using Apt-X on my GS4 with a compatible atonishing headset, now I'm using the headset with my Note5 but as you have noticed there is no official document about it while GSM Arena mentioned it in an article beside of lack of apt-x feature in Note5 specs at the same time !

Now I'm more curious about it but one thing I'd rather to fool myself with is all flagships by Samsung at the release time of Note5 had apt-x, which means there is no technical limitation to have it in Note5 as well, plus I can't recognize any loss comparing to GS4 with my headset

I use my note 5 with several apt-x accessories such as my htc stereo clip adapter.
I would know instantly if it was not apt-x. Rest assured, it supports it

I'm gonna disagree with the above poster. I don't think my Note5 supports aptx. I have a the Sony MDR-1RBT mk2 headset. I also have a Sony NWZ-A17 player. Both Sony devices support aptx. When playing music with the Note5, it just sounds much worse than playing music with the A17. This is using the same music files so same bit rate and format.

I just captured Bluetooth traffic between note 5 and Bose Apt-X Bluetooth receiver. It's All Apt-X.

Question Photo transfer - unexpected glitch

Hy there,
For the last two weeks I'm the owner of the Mi Ultra Global version (Deutschland) and I've noticed something weird for the last few days.
Being the best camera in the house, I mostly take the photos for my GF.
She has a Samsung Galaxy 20 FE, and when I want to send her the photos, by WhatsApp or an file transfer that we use called SendAnywhere, they come to her phone glitched. For example, from 30 photos, 10 are unusable.
PS. In my gallery, they are all oke, I can see them without any problems.

Settings, check the shooting format.
Forget the name but some advanced formats aren't viewable on none compatible devices.
HDR maybe?

HEIF I think you meant. It's turned off.
HDR Is so strong that a mid-range phone like the 20 FE doesn't support it?

Yeah that's it. Try sending it by email or text.
That's all I use.
I won't let WhatsApp, FB, etc run on my phone... I know better.
It supports HDR (rich tone) but it looks like crap
