HOWTO
Install instructions:
first time
- power off the phone:
- hold vol+ and plug usb to boot into fastboot (blu led)
- fastboot flash boot boot.img (from cm10 zip)
- fastboot reboot
- enter recovery, on boot led will be violet for 3'', during this period press vol+
- flash rom zip
- flash gapps zip
- wipe
- reboot
for update just flash rom zip from recovery
Google Apps are not included in this ROM. You'll need to find those yourself if you want them.

I've downloaded cm11. Should I really use kernel from cm10 or it's a typo?

Followed the installation instructions but i get multiple system crashes. system, keyboard.... No homescreen and so on. Only thing i got working was the settings menu. Did i do something wrong or is there a fix for this? Went back to FXP246 10.2.....

Did you flash gapps, if yes did you change some files?, if no flash them, if the problem still occurs try without gapps :good:

Yes it's a typo, because i don't think that a cm10 kernel would work on cm11
When flashing the zip the kernel should be installed too, if you want though you can flash the kernel from the cm11 zip manually via fastboot.

Yes i installed just as it was written in the post. So i installed 4.4 gapps and i did not try without it cos i need it... Could it be that the gapps i downloaded got corrupted?

can anyone share his experiences with the ROM? Especially whats not working until now or which "hard" bugs exist.
I want to use it, but at least it should be more or less stable (no reboots or something similar) and the "standard" things like Calls, Wlan and the system itself (Calendar, Contacts, Phone App and so on) should work. Things like a perfect camera or video play back are from a low priority for me.

Thanks. But i got it working. Downloaded gapps again and that worked. Activated ART and everything started to crasch... Then i found this...
Warning: Do not try ART with the Paranoid Android (or other AOSP) build right now. There is an incompatibility with the current gapps package that causes rapid crashing, making the interface unusable.
So i will wait until this "bug" is fixed before i do further testing.

Strange AOKP doesn't seem to have that problem. Then only thing that crashes is Whatsapp.

Actually championswimmer's version is much like AOSP. There is no AOKP options, so that's why there is no conflict.

Guys don't use ART. Some apps don't work with it

It's still very very close to AOSP atm, so check out any Nexus 5 pics of KitKat, there's nothing really additional to it yet.

1) Please flash Infinix Rom 1st before flashing this ROM (I tried changing the updater script to AndroidOne firmware partitions but didn't help)
2) Some apps may have difficulty accessing systemless root (like es file Explorer) I used root browser and it worked just fine.
3) xposed Framework zip sdk23 version 82 or less will work just fine, versions 83 or more will work fine too but it breaks the stock gallery app causing it to FC.
4) If you want to have Google now on tap flash gapps (I flashed open gapps mini 6.0, open gapps aroma won't even run)
5) Google plus FCs whenever you click on share or post a comment. I haven't figured out the cause yet (and it's not from xposed) tried even older apks and same out come. But you can view posts and even comment.

Hey I was wondering how you got the 3.18.XX kernel to boot on MT6580 chipset. I've been trying to get 6.0 for my MT6580 device (Cubot Note S) however the stock rom kernel is only 3.10 so I've only managed to get 5.1 custom roms to work.

Great Effort Guys and the best MM ROM for Hot 2.
I've been playing around it for about a week now and am so happy and satisfied with it's performance and battery life.
Here are additional info:

You can also simply use the Infinix Flash Tool!!
System less root is a modified root access strategy which doesn’t modify any files in the /system partition especially on devices running marshmallow, makes it easier to even install OTA Updates!!!

Am unable to flash it using twrp. Am running stock infinix ROM 5.1. am getting a filesystem ext 4 dev block/mmc error. Am trying to upload a screenshot Buh my browser keeps bouncing the page. please help

i get a filesystem ext 4 dev block/mmc error every time i try to flash it just like you, how u passed that error ?

Very very nice work, amazing ROM in fact, very fluid and fast(maybe the fastest for this device) but gutted it doesn't support otg. Then
-layers don't seem to work(installs but after reboot nothing changes, still looks stock).
-layers app also force closes when you try to uninstall layers. (Can still b uninstalled another way)
-after changing nav bar from initial config(switching recents from left to right) recent button don't work.
Still a cracking daily driver for people that don't mind not having otg. Didn't test the camera tho cos am not a camera person.
Again amazing ROM

FYI
the stock 6.0 of android one rom is 3.18.xx kernel, so it can be ported out easily without any problems appearing

This is great to see. Has anyone tested it yet? I will install it and review it, if there is enough demand.

This custom is unfortunately not so good. The camera does not start at all, the browser does not go and the system looks like andorid jelly bean.
In addition, the root despite super su is not recognized and the sd map is also not recognized

I tested yesterday myself before releasing and camera worked, not very good but it should work. More camera functions and bug fixes will come in the future
My SD card also works on aosp, so not sure what's your issue there. I haven't tested root so can't say anything about that.

Unfortunately, the 7.1 blobs seem to be too unstable at the moment (http://developer.sonymobile.com/open-devices/current-platform-functionality/#7.1) to build a reliable custom rom. That might be the reason why we don't see any aosp based roms (except this one now) for our device

I flashed it today morning, and it is pretty stable. Wifi, bluetooth, camera, cellular works. The thing that after switching the screen off you have to restart is pretty annoying but I can live with that. The only thing that bugs me is that I cant download anything. Build in browser seems to not support it so i sideloaded chrome and es file explorer but chrome couldnt download anything and es download manager gets stuck at 100% downloading and doesnt save anything. But Im still rocking this rom, its great

I'm away from home for 2 weeks with the army, but when I'm back I'll see what I can do to fix the bugs

i had installed it and it Looks smart and clean! very very nice.
but i had a lot of Problems with the Touchscreen. sometimes the touch dosn`t work and sometimes it works to fast.
the camera Quality was very bad. but i have seen Sony have work`d on last week.
so i am wating for your next update!

Bug:
I have Filemanager´s (X-Plore, etc.) for open Audios, Videos files saved on internal memory. For opening use menu after tap where is apps for Audio or Video playing... Bug is: if tap on file for opening and select app for playing and tap on save this selection for next auto select app. Then if i open file another filemanager, or application use this "auto selection" and no show dialog for manual select application.
Autoselection is apply for all apps. Before this update is pair autoselection with one apps. Another apps is show dialog now for manual select aplication for open and autoselection in app where is atoselection i select last apply.
I using for any apps (filemenager´s and apps) no same for open apps.

Security patches from 05/02/2017, rockstable, no freezes, no reboots, no lags ( limited @1134 MHz ), Doze disabled, WiFi, BT, mobile data, Hotspot, adopted storage - EVERYTHING works as it should. Full compatible with "iSu", to hide CMroot. Tested for about 2 months now - bugfree.

NP. Follow this:
Rom has TWRP as FOTAKernel, ( primary, Vol+ during boot ) CMrecovery as secondary recovery ( Vol- during boot ). Go to "settings -> about phone -> LineageOS updates", download your update, wait for finish, click install -> phone will reboot to TWRP. Nothing happens there, now restart to system, wait, press Vol- during boot, CMrecovery will load now and your update will be installed.
2nd way:
Simply download your update, reboot to TWRP, choose your download location, install your .zip, done. Wipes are not needed, tested with and without wipes.

It is a straightforward build, no customizations, no specific code, just standard AOSP with Sony kernel.

There are no google services on AOSP, you're on your own if you want to install them. I personnaly use Aurora and F-droid to install more apps

Installation
This will erase your data.
Follow official Sony guide from step 6.
Here is a summary:
Enter fastboot (switch off your phone, plug usb while pressing volume up, keep volume up until led comes blue)
Download Sony vendor image
Unzip it

Yes, camera works.
This build includes this workaround described by sony to make camera works.
There are some random issues, but it is quite rare, and you just have to restart camera app to get rid of them.

Yes and sorry the post was unavailable due to some error in xda bacause they are migrating
Sir did u try gcam on it
I tried gcam but without gapps but didn't succeed in opening
So I want to know as I am not on it.
Nice work camera works very perfectly
Had problems in mtp don't know binary or build tried on v3
I even wanted to know whether gsis work in top of it

I'm using "open camera".
Indeed gcam requires play services. You may have luck with this but i didn't personally tried it

Cannot flash gapps
I tried nikgapps android 11 macro
The system gets corrupted and doesn't boot goes in bootloop
Gcam is working fine

Cannot load any gsis on top of it please help me because i want to use gsi upon this

Yes, only for rebuilding the kernel.
It is really painful to setup, I used this guide and some advises from this, but it is far from straightaway guide.
You'll have to checkout old versions of android prebuilt gcc to get gcc because it was removed on master...
