Going to my local Best Buy and do a Price-Match so I can easily return them if I don't like them.
Sold out.
I was thinking of going to bestbuy, but dont feel like the drive
Can't seen to get any color other than white into a cart at Samsung.com or by using the shop app. Still for 50 bucks , worth the effort.
Just grabbed the white ones, only color I could get.we will see if Samsung takes a freaking month to ship it.

Best to take that info with you to Best Buy and price match, much easier to return also since I have been reading reviews on how bad the battery life is, may not even be worth the $50.

I agree but I live 25 miles from the nearest Best Buy and it is always a zoo in there. For 50 bucks I'm not going to sweat returning them. They'll be perfect for my wife.

In that case yeah I agree. There's on 2 miles from my office so I'll run over there in a half hour during my lunch break and I'll report back on my initial review.
Well I have been messing with them for an hour or so and they are cool, but definitely not worth $200 nor $100 for that matter. I guess I will keep them for $50 and transfer alot of music onto them so the battery will last longer and not always stream the music from my phone.
Kinda want to buy them but from watching reviews, the battery lasts 90 min.

If streaming from your phone yes 1.5 hours, if you store (up to 4GB) of music in the built-in memory then it can go 3.5 hours and keep in mind you can charge the headset on-the-go in the little charger pill 4 total times before needing to charge the pill and it takes 45 mins to charge the headset in the pill.

oh, so the pill has a battery of its own, thats kinda cool.
I only stream music from spotify, so these wouldn't be a good purchase for me.
These headphones seem more of a workout headphone and that is it. I want some that can be used daily and will last a few days without recharging them.

I think I'm going to return the headphones, if I didn't already have 3 neck band style Bluetooth ear buds I might keep them but just don't think they're worth $50 right now. Sure it's neat to be completely wireless and can hold 4GB of music but I always have my phone with me so the build-in storage is quite irrelevant.

I registered my when they were giving away flip cover and tectiles, along with 50% coupon. It was all from the same link on their FB page. Check it out, their FB page and ask them where to register. Or take a look at free flip cover giveaway thread in this forum where you can find a link in the first post. Giveaway is over but I believe they still send out 50% off coupon after you register. Same here. I just able to use another 50% coupon three days ago and it worked. I have used about 6 50% codes after registering my current, as well as old devices. For me, it has worked for the flip covers, cases, replacement battery doors, and most recently the Smart dock.
FYI - the Samsung website updates certain Out of Stock updates periodically throughout the day. You just have to catch it at the right time, or watch closely.
I also recieved the "50% off any accessory under $50" code, but I was able to apply it to the Smart Dock today, give it a shot!
Normally I would like to get smarkdoc but since a simple one cost less then $10 and an hdmi adapter & cable cost another $10. think I would go that route.
Thanks for the advice about checking frequently for the dock, I had put in a backorder notification on the site but apparently it didn't bother letting me know about it's infrequent appearances. Got one just now....with the code. Definitely the way to do it.
Other than Samsung directly. Does anyone know where I can order an OEM Micro USB Cable? I think using a generic cable is causing my computer to fail to see the note 2.
Search ebay for something like Galaxy Note 2 OEM usb cable.
I just ordered a few of these.. 5ft long too.

I have had older samsung cables work with Kies. If your running a non touchwiz rom any brand of cable should work fine. But if running TW, Kies is very picky on your cable, in my experience.
I have a few "China ebay cables" and they charge the phone but fit very loose and will stop charing if moved a little bit.

They have one that looks kinda like the OEM one.
PS. I recomend buying in large orders when getting things from them, like get that HDMI cable you was thinking about getting and such makes the shipping price more worth it that way. Shipping can cost more than the cable!
Thx for the links Neo. Ordered a couple of 10ft USB cables and an HDMI.

i've ordered around 15 mUSB cables and haven't had a bum one yet. the 10' are a bit of a tight fit though. ordering multiple quantities is the way to go so that the shipping cost is spread out among the cables, otherwise the saving isn't significant.
now the chargers on the other hand, you'll need to get a few. i've gotten 12 with 4 bad. but at ~$1.50 each that's not too bad.

Or pay one price with a dedicated USB cable that is not going to break and a dedicated USB charger that will not break and spend completely less there's your savings.
It goes the same for micro SD cards all these people when I get the cheapest price possible and then b**** and complain and moan how is not working or it got fried or failed. Because now they would have to purchase the real one that may have cost a little more but if they had just bought the real in the first place they would have saved more.

with my purchase i have a cable for nearly every where i'll need one. no need to spend more just to get a "monster cable" type that's based on the same standards as my ~1.50 cable. if you feel better spending more money to get the same working stuff i got then go ahead and defend your purchase.
but like i said i won't buy chargers from them any more. powergen has been pretty good for me and they run about $10 each.

No, because the shipping usually cost as much as the cable it's self, 2 or more cables usually only add like a few cents to the shipping cost.
They also have a warranty on there cables and replace them for free if you do get a bad cable and that's only been once in a 5 year period that I had to use there warranty.

I spent a total of 10 bucks okay for an OE charger as well this is in total a heavy duty USB cable no problems at all and I don't need a warranty because they don't have issues.
I don't need 10 cables laying around that's just nonsense its the same thing why people buy the 0 lemon battery why have three to four batteries having to swap them out when they die when you can just settle for one battery for about the same price if not cheaper and not have to worry about turning your phone off and on to swap out the battery.
I have to USB cables 1 is the BlackBerry cable and the other is just the OEM.

Wait till it craps out. I'm glad it works right now. why do you gotta be cheap about everything. Because I love the people that will buy anything at a cheaper cost let's say something happens and no warranty for it and complain that is not getting fixed. I see people do this all day with car radios they buy everything from Sonic Electronix and then complain when they bring it to the manufacturer that something is wrong and then they don't offer a warranty for it because of the fact that they purchased it from a third party that isn't an authorized retailer

Higher price != better quality. See: Beats by Dre.
In fact, quite a lot of people have had issues with the OEM cable. There's a thread in the General section about slow charging where the culprit, for many people, is an OEM cable giving out. My OEM cable which came with the phone now supplies 160mA. 1/10th of stock.

I'm not really cheap about a lot. I saw that thread someone posted with the eBay sale of the 64gb card for $30 and bought it just to see what would happen. I have a 128gb normal sd card but it doesn't fit in my hunterf case with the adaptor. it's a legitimate PNY card you would see at best buy for twice the price or more. doesn't mean it has any more chance of failing compared to one you would get at best buy.

I know, that's why I brought them up.
I personally use audio-technica ATH-M50s, modded to have a 3.5mm stereo jack rather than the normal coiled cable. Got a v-moda cable to go with it which has a mic and music controls.
There is definitely a subjective element to all this. I think what the person is saying about getting ten cables is more about convenience, and economics. Monoprice lowers the cost for bulk orders. The shipping for some items is fix despite the number order, thus more you order, the lower shipping per unit. We all get that.
His other point, why drag a cable and charger around all day, when he can just leave a cable or charger to the places he frequents most such as the car, work, home, friend's house, gym, and so forth. Plus, if they cable is good, you'll probably get to use on other devices that charge via microUSB, which most like aslo be the next smartphone. Personally, I have chargers and cables in the car, work, school backpack, home, and laptop bag. Some are from previous devices, other are ones I bought.
It's similar logic to the ZeroLemon battery. It's just what is more convenient for that person.
But given his record, it's about right what is standard manufacturing fail rate, which is targeted for three to five percent, or less. Even the most expensive equipment can have bad units. And given Monoprice cheap prices, if you get one bad unit out of ten, no one is going to care if they rest still work as expected.
On a personal note, I've been ordering from Monoprice for around four years. I haven't had any issues with their cheap cables. They're cheap, but they work.

Picked up a Rose Gold yesterday but now I don't even know what to do with it. A friend of mine had a New England themed sports wallpaper on it, or maybe it was a watch (can't remember) , but I can't find anything in the play store.

Returned my pebble for a lime-yellow gg. It was an open item so they sold it to me for $100. Best buy ended up crediting my account for the difference. Payed to upgrade.
Already have a black gear but bought 2 rose gold. Awesome deal indeed.
Bought the rose gold. All my friends asked why I didn't get the pebble. Im a chic the pebble doesn't come in anything remotely fashionable.
This deal still going?

No, it was the deal of the day and sold out within hours. My wife ended up getting me the last one in the store. Rose gold but it looks copper.:good:
My plan was to sell the free headphones I got but they're no longer worth the $299. I can probably only get $100? Are they worth it to sell or should I keep it?

They're pretty nice headphones. I figured they're worth more to me than what I'd get from selling plus the work involved.
If you ever fly or commute the noise canceling is great. Sound quality is solid and theyre comfortable. I still use my IEMs most of the time but it's nice to have them.

That's what I was thinking. I might just keep them. As long as they have good sound quality. I'm kind of picky.

I am too. My main pair of headphones are Vsonic GR07s which for sure sound better but the AKG ones are solid and the noise canceling is nice as is the Bluetooth.
I got a pair from Samsung and I put them on eBay for $120 and I had zero bids. I don't know what I'm going to do with them, I already have Bose noise canceling headphones.

Good luck. I put mine on Craigslist for $100 sealed and unused, not even an inquiry. Just goes to show their Le Garbage.

My 9 year old wants them... maybe if they don't sell she'll get them for Christmas.

I think the gift idea is the way to go. Giving them to your daughter is priceless, especially factoring in what you could get in return from selling them outright.
They actually have a decent sound quality & an optional 3.5 mm connection.
I'd be cool with getting them as a gift, but, in no universe would I plunk down the original MSRP.

I wouldn't buy a 9 year old $100+ headphones, but since they where free, why not. She'll be crazy excited. Now I just have to wait until Christmas...

I was going to put mine on eBay but for $60 (seems to be the going rate) minus eBay and PayPal fees I'll pass. Instead I found a guy who was looking for a new pair of Bluetooth headphones and I sold them for $75.
I switched from some Beats to the AKG ones and I really like them! The sound quality and battery life are awesome! Only thing I'm not the biggest fan of is the fact that they don't stay AS well as the Beats on the head, but minor inconvenience. ?
What is the point in selling them? Just keep them as spares. I purchased another pair from a 3rd party retailer for next to nothing as I wanted another spare set. They are pretty good quality in terms of construction and performance.
After like 2 weeks I finally got someone to buy mine for $99 in OfferUp.
