Does anyone have the template file for our phones? If you do would you please be kind enough to share it? I want to make some for my wife and myself. But can't find a template for them anywhere.

Buy one get the measurements and make the template. Mine came in and was hoping they had the cut outs to use as the template but you couldn't see the cuts. Make the $20 investment and then make to sell. I'll buy from you if the price and quality are right.

I have a template. I just finished making the one for my phone. And now... I am pissed off at the phone so just listed it on swappa. I was hoping to keep this one. But going back to OP5.
It isn't perfect. I got everything but the corners of the frame perfected though. Then just put a little flap on the end to give it some protection from drops. Then added tabs over the buttons in order to make it easier to locate the buttons, along with giving then some 'sticking' power around that thin area.
I don't know that I want to just give away my work. I started from nothing and did it over and over until I got everything lined up. If ya'll want to get together and pay me for my work, I'd be happy to oblige. I will also sell these to anyone that wants. I'll do two for fifteen. They are made of gun grip tape. You can barely buy the piece of tape to make two skins for fifteen bucks, and you aren't going to be cutting them with a vinyl cutter. Super grippy. Exponentially better (grip) than anything the big guys are offering. It feels great in the hand and thanks to how I wrapped it over the sides... there are no sharp edges felt in the hand.
I did a quick video if you are interested. I am in the process of moving, so not trying to sell these. Kinda put a halt to everything I was doing to start this company because of the move. But if you want one, to experience a rubbery skin.. let me know. It is what you have been looking for this whole time. I have reputable ebay and paypal. Not going to do an ebay listing though. Just invoice through pp. Up to you.

Here : www.brutalvisualstudio.com <--- They have many templates as you mentioned.. ready to be cut!
Well, I have some recent experience in trying to track down a decent template.
I'm not sure if you're trying to print it yourself or have it made, but I was trying to have it made as I dont have a good printer/cutter.
I emailed multiple sites that did custom skins, (decalgirl/mycustomcase/dbrand/caseapp/slickwraps/wraps/xtremeskins/mightskins/jwskins). Out of these, only 3 of them were actually able to provide a template. And only one of those three were able to provide the cut I was looking for - JWskins. I had never heard of them before so I guess I just went with it because the guy I was speaking with was by far the most helpful/knowledgeable and worked with me over email a ton, even showing me the mockup on his end before I bought. He ended up sending me like 4 different skin cuts through the mail when I only bought one. Pretty cool. He sent a full wrap, a couple different wraps with different top/side pieces as well. I went with this cut (pic attached) in the end.
It looks great, was like 10 bucks, and so far so good. I had a custom skin I made with a qr code I generated/designed so it needed to be perfect/fit perfect and not distorted. So yea, Im happy with it.
there are some templates on pinterest as well, under 10 bucks if i remember correctly...i just need to find some textured dragon skin vinyl
Free Note 8 back template
If you want a wrap-around template that includes all the buttons, ports, etc. you'll need to buy one. However, if you want something simple that just covers the back, like I did, I've posted one on my website, KyPics dot koz3 dot net. (I just made a template that fit in the case and cleaned it up a bit. The result worked fine on my phone.)
Hello, I have a skin selling store and I personally, prefer to purchase individual cut file templates for various devices as per my requirement rather than buying mobile skin software. I highly recommend brand Vecras Product Mockups, Creative Graphics, Vector Cut File Skin Templates for downloading highly precise vector skin templates for a wide range of devices of all popular brands including all latest models.
As per my experience, the main advantages of using cut files by Vecras instead of mobile skin software are:
1) Very high precision, 2) Wide variety of devices including phones, laptops, tablets, gaming devices, audio-video devices, drones, cameras, wearables, e-cigarettes, etc., 3) Compatibility with various cutters and plotters, 4) Professional in terms of style and precision, 5) Live testing done on original devices, 6) Available in five or six different file formats Ai, CDR, EPS, PLT, DXF and SVG, 7) Custom services as per your requirement, 8) Bulk order processing is possible, 9) Very reliable support system and quick response to queries, 10) How to videos for skin application along with photographs of live skin test images also available, 11) Matching skin mockups can also be purchased.
So I highly recommend world-renowned and authentic brand Vecras for buying vector cut file templates. All their files are of great quality & ensure a perfect fit of my skins and thus help me in making my customers very happy and satisfied.
You can either directly visit their website or simply email your query/requirement at [email protected]

Is anyone planning on getting this for their phone? Does anyone here have the flygrip for the galaxy note 2? It sounds like such an amazing thing to have for the phone but I'm still not convinced it'll be worth the 30 dollars for this. Also curious if it adds much bulk to the phone.
I transferred mine from my N7000 and feels the same. Not much extra bulk given that the device itself is not that small.
I just ordered one actually. Looks like an amazing product that would make the phone so much easier to use the just one hand. I'm thoroughly convinced that it will be helpful. Also, you get free shipping if you use the code QBKing77 at time of checkout saw it from his review video on the flygrip.

Its a regular old TPU case, that is glossy.
Ive had mine for a couple of months and although it does get uncomfortable to hold for more than a few minutes it does allow for one handed use. The stand features also come in very handy when youre trying to read or watch a video while eating or doing something else with your hands. I took it off recently to get a more sleek design and found myself almost dropping my phone a couple of times, so needless to say I put it back on. Also in the beggining it gets some time to get used to, but before you know it it'll become second nature.

I'm always tinkering and fixing things. Long story short I was looking for zip ties at Home Depot and found these "Gear Ties". Steel flexible wire, coated in rubber, all different sized and thicknesses. Super useful, that being said I made a stand for my Note 2 with one. Works really well, it has held its shape and its very sturdy and grippy. Figured Id share.
I also made one for my Nexus 7 with a bigger Gear Tie. Neat tool, highly recommended.

Found a place with Pebble Skins, ordered one yesterday. Hoping to have it by end of week and will post pics once I have it on.
There are actually a couple of different vendors, here is the one I went with: http://www.slickwraps.com/Pebble-Watch-Wraps-Skins-s/537.htm

UPDATE 7/23: So after working with Pauline at Slickwraps here is the deal. She was great in terms of doing what she could to make sure I was satisfied with the company and their service. I will say they have this part of the operation down once you connect with them. I did have some issues getting connected, but once I did she did an excellent job with follow-up and taking care of things.
After the debacle with the first wrap sent out, she sent me a replacement wrap which camed yesterday. A couple of notes on this. The wrap itself comes with a lot of extra pieces on the paper beyond what is needed for the buttons and Pebble. Confusing at first, but not that big a deal. The video that they provide is an excellent guide and I would also recommend highly watching it a couple of times.
Installing this one went very well, but one thing to be very careful about, the bottom border is slightly wider than the top border of the Pebble, and the Slickwrap does not mark the top or bottom. Maybe an arrow, or T and B on the mount paper would make this more intuitive.
Overall, pretty happy with how it turned out. I think it looks good, and I can see that for the customization of the Pebble it is a great idea. With my different band and face now I know my watch probably looks nothing like what anyone else around me might be wearing.
For the price, a good deal. Just make sure that you take your time, and follow the install directions, and if you are anal about alignment, you will probably find it tedious, but there is a good result in the end.
Good to hear that. Hoping to get my pebble from bestbuy soon.

Thanks, i'm very happy with it! They shipped my wrap with 2 screen protectors. I've had no issues with neither the wrap nor the screen protector. They're both staying put.
Somewhere I saw where someone who had a "skin" on their Pebble pulled it off only to find that the adhesive bonded to the anti-scratch coating on the Pebble's face and started pulling it off. Not sure whether it was on this forum or some other. It made me think twice about putting some skin or guard on the Pebble if it did this to it. It came off in patches and made the watch really ugly unless you scraped the rest of the coating off.
Worried about the finish on my just delivered white Pebble - but not if the protection itself ends up causing more damage!

1). What "debacle"? Did they send you the wrong one or something? I never heard or use SlickWraps, so wants to be sure before ordering...
2). Where did you see the video? I only see, from their website, iPhone installation video.
EXTRA: also, is this a sticker or something that requires water solution like Zagg screen protector?
Can anyone elaborate a bit on the issue described above about glue affecting the protecting layer of the screen? Thanks.

1. The first one apparently was early in their process for making them and there were some quality control issues in the cutting lines and sizing. They have this issue resolved.
2. If you go to http://www.slickwraps.com/Articles.asp?ID=240 and look about the middle of the page there is a video specifically for the Pebble
It is a sticker, so no water needed. Just make sure you really clean your watch first.

My watch has been shipped but I haven't received it yet. The stock band is too small for my wrist so I'll either have to replace it or do the "baseball cap mod" to the stock one.
I replaced mine immediately with a $8 band from Walmart. It's the black nylon with a Velcro closure, no stupid lettering.I think the part that the watch attaches to is made of lycra. Not sure, but it is stretchy enough to allow for the charger to be installed between the watch and the band. Came with new pins. Buy the size that says 16-20mm. It is so much better looking and way more comfortable than the stock band.
Here is my replacement band. I think the original is nice, but this is something different. It's just a bit more loose and comfortable.
Amazon "Steel and rubber bracelet for the luminox 3100 series dive watches " for 39.95 plus tax.
It has a solid, but not heavy feel. For me it's OK.
However, to present another view, my wife does NOTlike it; since there is no steel/silver in the watch body. She thinks that the band doesn't quite work.

Does the heart rate sensor really work with that gap between it and your skin? There are posts about people having trouble getting it to work with full contact.
A couple of metal bands I ordered from eBay:
I prefer mesh style bands lately. This one I liked because the links are more pronounced and chunky so it goes more with the size of the watch. It's like black chainmail and more rugged looking without going overboard in size.
I am currently using this one more because I like the "lighter" feel of it. Very similar to the bands on Skagen watches I've owned.
***You should note that the Spigen sticker protector is peeling off at the corners nearest the bezel after only a few days of application!!! I've done quite a few of these installs on other devices, so I know it was installed properly, just seems that those corners are hard for it to stick to. I will write them and see if I can get another set, and if those also do the same thing, I won't recommend this product. Sort of puts me at a disadvantage because I am nervous of the rubbery coating wearing off eventually.

I really like this turquoise one I got off Amazon. It came with the pins to attach it to the watch. Only problem is that the leather is a bit stiff. Still, I much prefer it to the stock watch band.

Yes, it came with pins and so far I like the fitment and quality. Mesh bands are designed to be very light, so expect that it's not going to "feel" heavy especially if you relate weight to quality. It is heavier feeling than the finer mesh one, though. I expect that eventually the black anodizing will wear/rub off like all of these dark/black metal items I've purchased before. Time will only tell how quickly this happens.

Plain hideous for me. Don't want to hurt your feelings but I don't get it why people would cover such a beautifully designed phone with fake materials.
The worst, at least for me, it's to have to push the navigation buttons through 2 holes! Just imagine the dirt those two places on the cover are gonna grab over time. Thanks, no! There are definitely better options (e.g. dbrand), that somehow respect the original form and design of this phone.
