I just flashed a older firmware. It connects and disconnects to my PC, and nothing shows on the screen. I can't access recovery.
What Fire generation do you have?
What os were you on originally?
What os did you try to flash it to?

I recently rooted my kindle fire hd 7 running 7.4.6 and i had it working fine, I could use the adp connection, the drivers were working, and I could access the ad card. I then decided to flash twrp so that I could then install CM 10.1 and get jelly bean 4.2.2. I was able to install twrp by using fire flash and made sure to select the option to flash a 2nd boot loader but when I rebooted, the device gets stuck in a boot loop and always loads twrp, whether or not I wanted to. Apparently this problem can be fixed with an adp command, but I have not been able to attempt this fix because I no longer can get an adp connection with the kindle, and none of the drivers that worked prior to installing twrp were working. I can't access the sd card files to flash the CM 10.1 files, or anything else for that matter, and my PV (running windows 7) can't identify the device or install drivers. I have not tried to use a factory cable and flash a new os in fast boot mode, and I'm not entirely sure how to do this properly so I would like to avoid resorting to this. If there is a way to get the adp connection and drivers to work, get the kindle to boot up normally instead of alway getting stuck in twrp, and install the CM 10.1 software I wanted, please let me know, and if there's no way to do this, how can I revert back to the amazon os with a factory cable. Thanks in advance.
Hi guys. I've had my HTC one for a while now and it had TWRP flashed on it. About a week ago I flashed the android revolution rom, worked well but my camera went really weird if I looked back at some recordings. So I wanted to revert back to stock everything. I flashed a stock recovery for the M7, after that I had the problem of not being able to connect my device to the computer when I fastboot mode. Simply wouldn't pick it up when I typed ADB devices in cmd. My device wouldn't show up after installing stock recovery. And it doesn't want to restore any roms either in stock recovery mode. I can't even access my folders in that mode to flash any roms. I click either apply from sd card, apply from phone storage. Says for a split second check CID failed or something and reboots itself.
I cannot flash TWRP back cause my computer since it can't pick it up. I've tried everything. Changing USB ports, uninstalling my drives for htc. Changing computers, unlocking, relocking bootloader. No result. I'm screwed cause I'm stuck on this android revolution rom, rooted. Just wanna flash custom recovery. I can connect it to my computer, access folders and add things to it but soon as I turn it off and go into fastboot mode it says fastboot usb and can hear the noise when its connected but it doesn't show up in adb devices and when I flash the TWRP it starts send then comes up with FAILED. Help please, would be appreciated!

Adb only works if you'te booted to OS or custom recovery. Command you're looking for in bootloader menu is "fastboot devices"
Fala Puno. Ja sam raditi sada. I'm of Croatian decent in Australia. I'll try this later when I return home
Fixed it! I'm an idiot, I didn't realise I was flashing the m8 twrp instead of m7. That's why it failed. Lol. Anyway thanks
After trying to install CM on my kindle after rerooting it (it lost its root after amazon pushed an update a couple months back), I'm getting stuck with a boot loop which gets me to the static yellow kindle fire logo and then resets over and over back to the same static logo.
It's not being picked up by ADB after installing the SDK and USB drivers, and obviously not being picked up in device manager.
Just trying to figure out what my next steps are. I'm already guessing it'll be getting a fastboot cable/making one, but any other ideas you guys have I can work on in the mean time?
Any help is much appreciated, thanks!
[SOLVED] Just updating now I have my fastboot cable; accessed, and used Restore2Stock (google) to install TWRP onto my device via fastboot. After that, I adb push'd the stock o/s back onto the system and use TWRP to reinstall.
Re: Amazon kindle x43z60
when i turn on my kindle it comes up with the 'red' 'kindle fire' logo and it doesn't change to blue 'fire' as it would so i could enter twrp recovery with the up volume. when i connect it to my windows 10 pc (i tried other windows) its not being recognised, no connecting sound neither does it show up in device manager. so i cant access it.
i had tried installing a rom i got from rootjunky.com it installed but it changed my serial number to "000000" so amazon did not recongnize it so thats why i wiped it again.
I wiped it (system, cache, internal memory) then hit recovery in trwp recovery. then it came up with the 'red' 'kindle fire' logo.
Please help me, the tablet isn't mine i just tried to assist the owner who wanted cyanogenmod 11 removed to get back amazon os on it.

I had my Kindle 5gen, with CM12 and i wanted to install another rom. The problem was that, because of multiple thing, the recovery was set to amazons, lost the boot access and only could enter in recovery to adb or fastboot. The problem got even worst when i installed a Firmware "update-kindle-37.5.2.2_user_522053820" so it could boot as a fire.
Now it doesnt turn on. I connect it to the PC and i can hear it conecting and disconecting. In Device manager i can see it conecting as a Unknown device and then into MT65xx preloader. The thing is that all this happens fast so i cant do anything to stop it and i tried holding the Power bottom and the power and up bottom as well.
I really dont know what to do now. Search everywhere with no luck.
Tried Amazon Fire 5th gen super tool, tried soupkit with cygwin64 and kindle unbrickv01 and nothing...
Im desperated...

Wrong forum; CM11 is not an option on this device (2015 5th Gen 7" non-HD) .

yeah my bad, it was CM 12, anyway i had a CM something but now i have nothing.
Hmm, there is some of misinformation it seems... and sadly, not enough research was spent to see what you wanted to achieve it seems...
Fire 5th, cannot have the recovery such as TWRP or CWM installed. If you have 5.0.x you can tether of it, but it can't never be installed.
See Q5: http://forum.xda-developers.com/amazon-fire/help/help-thread-question-noob-friendly-t3205441
If the stock Amazon recovery is gone, you have a bricked device.. If you have Amazon recovery, you can go back to stock (stay within the version you had, do not downgrade, or you will brick it), check the link above following Q5, there will be two unbrick methods at the bottom. Select the one based on your version 5.0 vs 5.1 or later.
