WoHooooo!
This is awesome! Thank you so much for this! :good: :good:
I had totally lost all hope for development on this device.. Great stuff!
And just to know.. are you going to update/add more futures to this ROM/Kernel later on?
Thanks a million!
WiFi password problem
The kernel is running well and smooth. But there is a major hiccup.
The wifi passwords are all gone after every reboot and must set up again.
Updated rom download link, wifi should save now and root should install also.
Will try and report.
everything works fine .. missing the flipboard build in, in the launcher but .. nice work
Wifi bug is gone. Everything fine. Thank you.
Master fontpack 7.2 1100fonts works perfectly, if someone likes...
Travis82. Could you provide us with a lineage os 14 build for the t819?
I would help here and there and donate to you for your efforts.
Travis, is it possible to implement PDesireAudio into your kernel? Would be awesome the Soundmod

Any chance for a t719 version the kernel? ))
Could someone make a step-by-step guide to go from a locked device to a rooted device with Travis82's kernel ?
I am a newbie and a bit confused about Odin, unlock bootloader, etc
greetings
Does this work on the t819y
Thanks

You will need Kernel Adiutor (free from the play store) or similar app capable of allowing you to switch I/O schedulers and
CPU governors in order to be able to change and set those.
I can recommend this.

Nice, finally some new development for our phone =)
I will test the kernel right away...
One thing that I would really love would be if you have the time to look into adding DT2W
Thanks for your work so far :good:

booting went well. However WiFi doesnt work for me :/ I uploaded the logcat-output filtered for "wifi" to hastebin. If you need anything else for debugging let me know. Thanks to dual boot I will keep your custom kernel on one ROM

Thanks for trying out the kernel. That's weird about the WiFi. I have never had that happen in the bunch of times I have flashed it. I will def look into it.I'll have a look at the log, although at this point I'm also not that great at interpreting those, so it may not help. I'll see what I can do though

OK,well after looking at the log and trying to decipher it and then thinking a bit I have only come up with one possibility.Maybe somehow your wpa_supplicant.conf file located in /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf has the wrong permissions for some reason. If you want you could try to check and possibly change the permissions. If you decide to try this I would backup the file because you never know.
The permissions should be: Owner - wifi Group - wifi...
Owner read and write/Group read and write/ others none.
If your permissions are correct on that file the only other thing I could possibly think of to do if you wanted would be to delete that file,wpa_supplicant.conf.Only after you back it up it though because you will lose all of your passwords, and reboot. It should recreate it.Do that at your own risk though. This is all I have come up with because I have never had that problem,so it's a bit difficult.
I am sorry, I think the error was my fault and not a bug of the kernel. I think the build that I am running at the moment is one I build myself and used sabermod toolchain. I remembered that I had the same problem using DMPKernel on that build. I thought I was using one of hennymmc's builds by now - so, sorry for reporting but thanks for looking into anyways.
Unfortunately I tried both and didnt solve the issue ,the permissions were set correctly btw.
I just installed the CM13 on another partition but - unless I have a flashable zip file - I can not install your kernel on that one. Would it be possible to provide the kernel as .zip?

Conducted any work on the development of the kernel? About sound problems and headphones like DJ_Steve , initially had no problems, and then there., maybe it depends on kernel version? Is there a chance to make all the improvements in version 3.4.39 ? (Google translation)

I actually haven't touched this recently at all.I've been spending too much time on the mess that is my AOSP build [emoji2]
I give up on that for now though. It's giving me a headache.
I will try to get back to this soon,as I don't even think it works with any of my builds.I don't know.I'm not even using this right now.
I never actually had any real audio issues with this however and I did use if for awhile,so that's strange.

Hello XDA Members,
I am here with my new kernel. This kernel works on Android 7.x based ROMs
Standard disclaimer :
Code:
This product is distributed free of cost and does not come with a warranty. I will not be responsible for anything that may happen to your phone as a result of flashing this kernel. You have been warned !If you come to me saying that this turned my phone into nuclear bomb , I will surely laugh at you !!!
Introduction :
Photon is a fundamental particle of nature which delivers light to us all. It's mindboggling properties like duality, never stopping from being in motion and presence in so many diverse natural phenomena like photoelectric effect, relativity etc. makes the man ultra-curious about it. A photon is born when atoms transition from excited state to ground state. What's the point of this paragraph in a kernel description post?
Well, like a photon this kernel possess duality. How? By giving better battery back up and performance. ( ) What about non-resting nature of photons? Yes, the kernel support will never stop until Nougat says good bye. ( ). OK now don't ask about analogies regarding photoelectric effect and relativity. ( : D ).
Anyways, now coming to the point I am very much glad to present you, the users of condor, my tiny piece of work for our small beast, .
“The Photon Kernel“
I got very much fascinated by the concept of photons when I studied it for the first time and hence (yes, you've guessed it right!) I've named this kernel Photon.
Enough of the physics class today let's look inside the features of the kernel now ( xD ) :
Features :
1)Compiled with UBER toolchain 4.9
2)Used -O3 and graaphite optimisation flag
3)Added few more governers to stock ones. List of all governers :
Impulse
Ondemand
Ondemandplus
Powersave
Performance
Interactive
Userspace
Smartmax
Lionheart
Nightmare
4)More I/O schedulers.List of all I/O schedulers :
noop
deadline
row
cfq
flops
tripndroid
sio
sioplus
vr
zen
bfq
5)Enable Arch Power
6)Disable Gentle Fair Sleepers
So that’s all for the features as of now. More features will be added in future.
This kernel serves me good for daily use and allowes me to use those governers flawlessly.
To-do list :
1)Add more governers(No more governers planned)
2)Add dt2w feature
(DT2W and intelliplug update is ready but I want everything to be nice and shining before adding them )

910F in the title- built with the DQI6 (SM-N910F) source code and for use on F model only and maybe G but that's not been tested that I know of.
Does not have 910F in the title- built with CQE1 (SM-N910V) source code and can be used with T,P,W8, and V.
Extended Battery in the title- for those that have the 10,000 mAh batteries to provide a more accurate reading on your battery percentage.

-For those using the NSeven port, you'll will need to flash the Xposed uninstall zip and the unSu.zip to pass Safetynet. If you're using any other rom that has xposed or SuperSU installed you'll also need to flash those zips to pass.
-Use the MSM Hotplug rather than MPDecision. KA won't allow for cpu cores to turn themselves on and off while using MPDecision hotplug.
-Kernel Adiutor is not perfect. On the first reboot after you set your "run on boot" settings check them to make sure their right. Mostly the hotplug section, it will try to turn MPDecision back on. I've only noticed that on the first reboot, after that it's been pretty solid.

Wake Controls
To get the wake controls working: Turn on the control you want to use in Kernel Adiutor and then, using a root file explorer, go to /sys/android_touch2/ then find the corresponding file ie doubletap2wake and open the file with a text editor. If the file says 0 change it to 1, if it's already one just save and exit. After that it should work every time until you turn it back off in KA. If you want to turn it back on just repeat the above process.
I consider this to be as good as the wake controls are going to get. They've never really worked reliably but at least with this way it does and to be honest I probably won't put too much more work into getting it any better. Sorry.

Yes, I was just now uploading versions for the F,G,T, and w8. Just keep in mind that these are beta releases and untested on those the devices. The F version is booting and running fine on my 910V but if you decide you want to try it, you would in fact be the first.
Here's the F link If you want to try it now. I'm going to test the others before I update the op.
Sorry but didn't work for G.phone not booting after flashing kernel..its stuck on samsung galaxy note 4 start screen.

Oh really. That sucks, that's actually the one I'm running right now since it was the last one I tested. I kind of thought they would work since I used the same method that Ram121 uses but maybe there's something I'm missing still. Did you use or Magisk or supersu? Or neither?
Awesome stuff! Stoked for a Note 7 port kernel! Thanks bossman!
Thanks for your work wil be waiting for your N7port

Thanks. Your kernel(s) are much appreciated.
Dear Kevin,
thanks a lot for your quick reply and upload, but I have to say, that the F version doesn't work on my Note 4.
I get only the "kernel is not seandroid enforcing"-message and a blinking LED.
If you need any further information, please let me know. Your new kernel and help is greatly appreciated.

No, you need to also flash magisk right after the kernel

Cool, is it possible you could add support for HID devices/android_keyboard_gadget? (Nethunter HID attacks)
I'll be waiting for the US997 release

Happy to test for US997, it is my main device, but I've got TWRP and backups so I don't mind

Nice to see another kernel for our device. You wrote inOP that is based on v20A. Will it work well with 20c firmware? Hasn't LG updated the sources?
Thank you for your work

Running your kernel on my H870, V20C, so far so good, great work ?
Heya, thanks for the Kernel, I flashed over from Melina kernel - noticed less CPU governeei options - missing my old elementalx setting. Any plans to add more governor settings or have you tuned/optimised the interactive governor in the Kernel

H870.
Made a new kernel forked from the stock nameless kernel and I got really good benchmark scores. For banking apps download universal safety fix and then hide all your banking apps and your apps that don't work with root this kernel comes with root but when you get into magisk manager you can unroot your device I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR A BRICKED PHONE! if you say anything like "THIS GUY FRICKED MY PHONE" i will laugh at you Source code: https://github.com/Gavin123-code/kernel_oneplus_sm8250 Credits The Nameless-AOSP team and The Illusion-X Devs. happy flashing!

Overclocked to 4250Mhz and I got good battery life like 16 hours (THIS US ONLY TESTED ON NAMELESS) it should work on other roms but just saying and ANDROID 12 only I'll try to keep it updated with nameless updates but updates will stop when they switch kernel if they do. I thought you said detected as rooted because this kernel is prerooted and with magisk Manager you can unroot
You need to post your source. Also you should really provide more info in the OP, especially since it's already patched with magisk supposedly...
Thanks for the build .
Can you post the source please ?
Have you modified illusion X ? If so what features?
Would be great to have more cpu governor's / TCP algorithms and I/O schedulers . As well as under clocking CPU and GPU
Looking forward to upcoming releases .
UPDATE ** Experiencing extreme lag when switching between apps .
GPU has -44mhz - 800mhz clock speeds , perhaps -44hz is the issue?
Your on the right track , great to see fresh kernel ( fork )
