"secure check fail = bootloader" when flashing metropcs firmware on sprint galaxy s6 - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6

"secure check fail = bootloader" when flashing metropcs firmware on sprint galaxy s6
I have a Galaxy S6 that was on Sprint. I had Spring unlock it. I am trying to get it flashed to work on T-Mobile or MetroPCS.
I have downloaded Odin 3.12.5 and the latest factory Android 7.0 firmware for T-Mobile G920T and the variable for MetroPCS G920T1 .
I load Odin and click AP and load the firmware. I put my phone in download mode. It shows FRP off and Secure download enabled. I then hit start in Odin. Checksum passes but Odin fails after seconds. When I look at the phone's screen it shows the error "secure check fail = bootloader" .
I have read and read and watched videos, but cannot get past this error unless I flash a Sprint firmware to the phone.
What is weird is I had no problem whatsoever doing the same T-Mobile firmware flash to my Sprint Galaxy S7.
I prefer to flash it with T-Mobile's G920T1 version. But at this point I just want to get it flashed to be used on the T-Mobile network.
Is there a way to fix this error or can I flash the firmware in recovery on the S6? I read something about it but wanted some more confirmation.
Thanks in Advance
Tom

Flashing Full T-Mobile Firmware Onto Verizon S8-G950U ??

Hi I'm trying to flash the T-Mobile firmware from sammobile.com, but whenever I try, I get an error at 32% when it says Installing System Update. I attempted to flash CSC,AP,BL, and CP with it saying PASS in Odin. I really need the T-Mobile firmware and am wondering if it is possible to do? I determined that I cant install CSC files and get the error when I try. Any Solutions?
SM-G950U
Odin 3.12.3
T-Mobile Firmware:
PDA: G950USQU1AQD9
CSC: G950UOYN1AQD9
I'm having the same problem with an ATT phone flash with the US "U" unlocked version firmware. When I don't flash the csc it will start up only with the USB plug in but shut down after the beginning startup
Search for a "modified Odin". It was what I used to be able to flash unlocked firmware on a 7 and 7 edge a few months ago. The "normal" Odin wouldn't let me do it, but the modified one did. Though you may need to wait until it's been updated....I haven't checked it in awhile.
Still no solution to avoid the error to 32%?
Try this Odin. This is the one I used to flash the Canadian firmware on mine.
I managed with odin version 3.12.5! But only with BL AP and CP!
When I add CSC I get the error at 32%!
So a priori everything works, I no longer have the Verizon overlay (nor the logo at startup) more by cons I have duplicates in the settings menu ...
What is the CSC file?

The Canadian firmware you got it or? On sammobile I find it not:
https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s8/SM-G950U/
The Canadian firmware is stock or operator?
I would have access to all the bands?
Its the firmware with the "w" at the end. Please read this thread for all the information on doing this and make sure you want to do it.

so to do this we actually have to go to the canadian firmware first, do the csc change then flash the Tmo firmware? You can't just flash the Tmo Firmware via the modded Odin? Just to save confusion.
I would imagine it's worth it just to get the proper network options, VOLTE, WiFi calling and such.

This is the exact thread that I used. Follow the steps and you can skip engboot. If you flash the full Canadian firmware, its impossible to reverse. So, only flash whatever is in the steps. I successfully went from Verizon To T-Mobile and then back to Verizon. https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/how-to/switch-to-carrier-firmware-100-t3609487

ATT Note 8 on Verizon MVNO (Total Wireless) no 4G/LTE

I have a ATT Note 8 that I got the unlocked (with a the unlock code from ATT) and I have activated it on Total Wireless. I have been able to get the 3G, voice and texting to work, but I can't seem to get the 4G to work. I thought that it should work straight away, but that doesn't seem to be the case. It is a SM-N950U with firmware version N950USQU4CRF3. I tried to Odin flash the verizon firmware, but I could not get it to take (Odin refused/failed.)
If anybody could help me with this, I would appreciate it.
i have unlocked att note8, it works fine on LTE with Verizon Prepaid, 40$ for 6gb LTE data.
you have to flash a Verizon firmware with bootloader 4.
i like the unlocked firmware better, it has LTE+ to shows it connected to LTE Advanced and build in caller ID.
If you could link me to the correct firmware, that would be awesome!
here's the unlocked firmware.

When I try to flash it, it fails. https://gyazo.com/c4fd1438dee3d7f2fae1471e255763e0
Any idea why it's failing?

Which Odin did you use?
Comsey Odin or regular Odin?
Did you read the op of that link he gave you?
What's your bootloader version? Does it match or higher then the one you are flashing?
Bootloader version is the 5 number from the right of the baseband version number in about phone/software info.

I was trying to use the patched Odin 3.13 as well as Prince Comsy's Odin (both fail). The guide didn't really describe the firmware version I was running, so it was a bit hard to understand. I have bootloader 4. I have tried the firmware he linked to and I tried the latest Verizon firmware downloaded from SamFirm. Looking at the name of the firmware files, they are bootloader 4.
Thank you
I was finally able to get it to flash using a friends computer. Unfortunately all of the att stuff is still on the phone, I still have no access to 4g lte.

Downgrade current binary of my SM-G920T

II have a Samsung Galaxy S6 with carrier T-Mobile (SM-G920T) that was flashed with stock ROM G920TUVS6FRC1with android 7.0 but the security does not work, I tried to flash it with G920TUVU1AOCG_G920TTMB1AOCG_TMB with Android 5.0.2 through Odin but I have sw check fail device: 6 current: 1. So I used ASSAYYED_KITCHEN_V1.82_STABLE and create a zip with system.img and boot.img of the second ROM and flashed it with TWRP. Everything seemed to go well, the only thing that left was carrier unlock that I did it with Octopus Box but when I insert my sim the mobile go into upload mode. I need to flash it with 920TUVU1AOCG_G920TTMB1AOCG_TMB or, if exist, with any other ROM with Android 5.0.2 but for that seems that I need bypass bootloader check. Any suggestion?

Question Carrier csc wont change after flashing U1 firmware

I have a verizon branded s21 ultra. Switched to tmobile and flashed the u1 firmware. Flash went fine, rebooted, put in tmobile sim, but still shows VZW/VZW/VZW. Cannot receive tmobile ota's. Model number says U1. Any help is appreciated.
It should show TMB/TMB/VZW correct?
I remember going through a similar issue on A20. The steps are probably the same https://www.droidwin.com/change-csc-codes-samsung/
Even if you can't change the CSC, you can always flash the Tmobile rom (zip) using SamFirm and install them manually https://www.xda-developers.com/download-samsung-updates-free-tools/
Tried flashing tmobile software using Odin. Booted up to verizon splash screen and still showing VZW/VZW/ VZW

SM-G998U1 isn't the model number for the TMobile Branded device, it's the Unlocked variant. You can download the TMobile firmware here. You may not receive TMobile's OTA's even after you flash TMO Firmware since your Primary CSC will always be VZW.

When I flashed the TMB firmware, it still boots to Verizon splash screen and still shows VZW/VZW/VZW even though there is a tmobile sim installed
Try changing the CSC to TMO by entering the following code on the Dialer TouchPad. *#272*YOURIMEINUMBER# In the string replace YOURIMEINUMBER with your actual IMEI Number. You may see a list of regional CSC's. Select TMO then select install. I'm not sure this method still works on the Verizon device or after the latest updates but it's worth a try.
