Anyone using circle launcher? Have any of you experienced the icons getting pushed to the side depending on the column or row you're in? I like the program, and emailed the Dev today. Hopefully he can figure out the issue.
Weird, keeps saying the pic isn't in a correct format...

I've been using circle launcher for a long time and love it.
It is a bit weird on the XOOM. The circles are supposed to do that in order to keep them from going off the edge of your phone, but in HC the edges are a little odd. The feature works like it should in portrait mode on the left side. But when the launcher is on the two rightmost spaces on the grid in both orientations, the next to last space still makes the circles bunch up, which shouldn't happen.
XOOM'd from the XDA app.
Crazy fast and smooth, light weight. could use a couple of more options, but thought Id let you guys know if you were looking for a new launcher, its good.
Is this in the market?
Yeah, its awesome!
yup in the market
Running it now, prolly the best launcher I've ever used

between this and the arc launcher.
Thanks for the heads up on this launcher...very nice!
I like it, and I really like how icon press highlight isn't a gigantic box.
Sweet launcher!

I love it. It's definitely fast, and I like how you can change the app drawer to scroll vertically instead of having to swipe side to side.
meh. The icons changing grey while scrolling in the app drawer is annoying. Dock is fugly and can't edit it to 3 (without plus signs) or disable all together. Built in task manager doesn't show all "running" apps so that's pointless. Just lacks the in depth options that adw ex has that I like. Might check it out again after 7 updates .
good day.
went back to ics 4.0... too many wake locks.
Did anybody else notice that if you swipe up on the dock in the home screen it flips up to show a lock button and settings button? The lock locks out your apps you have set with a password in the launcher settings,i thought this was cool

hope so i want it too
Is it possible? I really like the stock Messaging app, but for ease of Emoji etc, I like to use Go SMS. Unfortunately it comes with a hideous stock icon, and trying to change it while keeping it in the dock is proving to be quite difficult.
Any ideas without running a third party launcher? I'm trying to keep the phone as light as possible.

Surprised this hasn't been answered yet. Anyway, it's fairly simple. You can only change your docked apps when you have the app drawer open. Simply open the app drawer first, then move the current app in the dock and drop it into the drawer. You can then move any other app from the drawer into its place. Hope that helps.

Sorry, but this doesn't really help me as I can't change the icon for Go SMS when it is in the dock. Using an icon switching app seems to only let me create a Go SMS shortcut with stock Messaging icon on a homescreen, not in the dock or app drawer, which is what I need

***nevermind*** you already stated above that you can't drag icons to the dock on the One.
Is it possible, on the stock launcher, to change the number of homescreens? I have no use for 5, I normally only have 2 or 3. Can I delete some? The old pinch-to-edit function doesn't seem to work (maybe that's a TouchWiz feature). I know you can use Nova/Apex/etc. to do this, but I'd really rather stay with the stock setup for now. Anyone know a hidden trick?
Not that I know of. You should check out Nova launcher. They have a great beta version that keeps the transparent top and bottom bar and lots of features.

Maybe try your menu button, look in your setting for launcher preferences, and or hold the screen down on the homescreen. If not, perhaps try a new launcher.
You can't with the stock launcher. Download the launcher from Nexus 5 aka GEL launcher, there you can just have the number of screens you need. Can also use various third party launchers which does this. Nova is my favorite among the third party ones.

Nope that's why I use nova. It even has settings for kit kat that makes it look like GEL.

So I'm trying nova launcher instead of Touchwiz. I honestly do not see what the fuss is. The only thing I like is the ability to move the app drawer button to the center of the dock. After that, I see no speed difference or awesome features.
I know most people seem to like it, but I just dont see it. Am I missing something?
LOTS of customizations.
Resizing of all third party apps
Resizing of the desktop and drawer
Font customization
Lollipop animations
Custom Google search widget
Custom animation speed
Forced landscape mode
And many more. ..

+1
there is no questions any custom launcher bring added functionality. I personally can't live without a 5x5 grid, badge notification on almost any app and a vertical scroll drawer. The lollipop animations are also pretty cool
You my friend must be using a different version then all of us. So many features. Blows tw away by miles.

So there is a bit of a learning curve to using a launcher if you are new to them. For Nova I would focus on the items I starred in the screen shots below. Play around with it. You will see the benefits, trust us.

That's awesome that you did that.
My personal favorite is assigning Shortcuts to App Icon swipe up. (Direct Dial Wife on swipe up of Phone Icon)

Changing icons individually or as a pack, multiple docks, transition effects, size of icons can be changed, swipe action for individual icons, folders can be changed, several add ons suchs as unread counts, now comes the final question - did you use the pay or the free version. A lot of the really cool stuff is only available in a paid version and trust me it is lightning fast compared to touchwiz.
I'm using nova prime. I'm still learning, this is the first time I've ever used anything other than what was baked into whatever Rom I was using. My last phone was the s3 and Darth stalker had the Xperia launcher I think... I've been using touchwiz was the last month, I just didn't like the menu (app draw) key on the right side.

I tried it a few times. I'm with op can't see any real.benefits.
Only launcher that I used for more than 1 hour was the Aviate one.

Nova restore option is anoother HUGE plus
I love the back-up restore option with Nova prime that I can use to quickly restore all my short cuts and widgets. Even between devices. I would use for this alone.

OP you may want to try "Go Launcher EX" its more user friendly in my opinion. I love it because the them options and whatnot with it are endless.
I seriously love Nova launcher it's always been my go to and I've tried quite a few. I wish it was possible to pin action memos as a widget though. It's not enough to get me to stop using Nova, but damn that would be perfect if it was possible.
