Fingerprint Scanner Booster
It does what the title says! It boosts Fingerprint sensor's responsiveness by prioritizing its process.
If you use custom roms and those roms have a little delay with unlocking the device using the fingerprint scanner, this should help you.
It does this by using these commands:

Someone tested it on Redmi note 4? The scanner is responding instantly but the screen wakes up way too slowly. Is this the fix for it?

But when I add it in Magisk I get installation error. (Both versions).

Try installing in recovery.
As for battery life, I haven't noticed any significant dtain, just the usual 8-10 hour sot ?

It won't break it. If you want to uninstall it, just uninstall it in magisk manager.

Tried it, still the same issue sadly.
It doesn't change anything it just makes things worse for me (goodix). The screen takes longer to wake up now than without the fix. By longer I mean it takes 4-5seconds for the screen to turn on

So basically just install the latest firmware again? Because the tap to wake and pocket detection are always turned of for me.
I also have a Redmi Note 4x and running Electrablue kernel. The kernel has Fingerprint scanner booster driver as stated by the dev. Will this modeule make any difference or are they just the same feature?

(sorry for poor english )
I used it for my mi5sp, it is OK.
But only a bug, sometimes cannot wake up when flashing the ROM or backing up the rom.
So your should keep the screen on.

Works fine on Mi 5S 3/64. To change language, you can found language setting. Use the right button of the 3rd line in the main menu, then swipe to the "planet" and select ur language

I tried. but cannot test it yet. I have not used any of my R1's in a while and they all have 0% battery.

bluetooth connects but does not play
and after trying to play to bluetooth browser has frozen, so now rebooting

I have made a few versions of the port. And none of them have made improovements to rom.
current status
working:
1 wifi
2 cell data (at least sim 1)
3 video-tested with youtube in stock duck-duck-go browser
not working
1 camera

Even the camera app is automatically deleted that should be for lack of gapps, Or the lib are not correct, I already went through that in a mt6582

Do you mean the list of libs I have listed on the lineage 13 thread?
I had same result too, it did not boot when they all were changed. I did not go back and add them one by one to see if it was one lib that did it.

Exactly in fact modify the boot.img and I almost make hard brick.
Are many lib to try but I think it can work I see it is the same nomenclature
And the lines of the camera of your boot.img are very different from the one of the stock img
Please give us lineage OS. Mi Mix original had this. I think this phone could really benefit from it. Thanks.

You can load the Google Play store from the MIUI store.
You probably want to unlock and load on the Xiaomi.eu or EpicROM to have proper Google Play service integration.
But I would love LineageOS ported over.
Had mine for about 1 week now. Love it but really want lineage on here. Common devs. Help us out here. Got some donations I need to hand out after stable build release.

I have run Cyanogenmod and LineageOS on many devices, and has been a great experience. You get an almost stock experience with better configuration.
The Notifications on MIUI suck ass. WTF? Why are we still stuck with Lollipop style notifications? I do not have any other major gripe with MIUI (once I changed from that stock Launcher), but I cannot change the notifications.

Proximity sensor doesn't work. Otherwise I haven't found any major issues.
Of course, can't install or use many apps that require the phone not to be rooted. Even installing magisk, it fails SafetyNet. If anyone can find a way to make it not fail SafetyNet, please let me know. I need my fix of Mario.

This module should not fix cts by itself, it's a tool for you to fix it yourself by changing your build fingerprint to a certified one through the terminal commands (read the OP again).
Have you applied any certified fingerprint yet? If not, download the stock rom for your device, open it and open the build.prop file, find the "ro.build.fingerprint=" line, then copy and paste its content here or manually apply it through the terminal commands.

It's not even released yet. The Closed Beta Signup form is still live & OnePlus is yet to announce the selected Closed Beta Testers.
It said that form is open till 2 PM GMT, so it should be 7:30 PM IST.

Everything is working fine. I was coming from havoc. So it completely wiped off all internal.

Yes there are 3 modes as on the newer OnePlus devices, Colourful, Light and Dark as per the screenshots shared...

It's known to wipe internal storage for sure... Doesn't matter which ROM/firmware you're coming from... Coming from Oxygen OS also requires a wipe... It's due to different encryption algorithm I suppose (not sure).

Im using and until now I feel that is a bit slow, but maybe is because I came from the OP6T.
For now the animations feel that are slowing down the phone, the battery for now is going fast, less than a hour of SOT and Im down to 66% ( I have a new original battery installed by OP) but lets see how it goes

Feedback on Pie beta :
- animations are laggy (stuttery at times)
- while there is an going call, swiping down the notification bar takes some effort.
- playstore has crashed on me a couple of times.
- overall usable
- battery life : nothing to write home about. but not that bad.
- UI decoration elements are nice
Game mode active warning is very anonying.It apears everytime and stays too long.
This is great pie build. Sharing screen shot of today with heavy gaming and movie. No hang no lags. Great rom.
actually it kind of stutters after the boot but it catches up after some 3-4 mins
performance not as good as oreo or any custom roms available but I guess goos enough to be a daily driver
