I'm having a strange issue with the Amazon app store. When I try to install apps, they seem to download just fine, but when it reaches the screen with the install & cancel buttons, I cannot push the install button. It's there, and it's not grayed out, but it just will not push down. No error messages at all. Anyone else have this issue or know how to fix it?
My setup is in my sig. I've already tried clearing cache/app data, but no dice.
Clear Dalvik cache.

Go to settings> applications and make sure unknown sources is checked.
The problem persists through multiple clearings of the dalvik cache (I'm a flashaholic).
Unknown sources is checked.

No problems here...works as it should. Downloaded 3 free apps and installed with no issues.

Probably a silly question, but did you try clearing the AppStore app data?

Yes. I had the same problem with it. When I tried to update, it wouldn't let me press the install button. I only got it to work after I completely uninstalled it, restarted my phone, and tried to install again. That has not worked with the apps from the store itself.

So I've found a somewhat odd, temporary workaround: reboot the phone. I have no idea why it works. Killing the Appstore does nothing, clearing caches/dalvik data does nothing...but if I reboot, I can install apps again. Temporarily, and then it randomly stops working again.

Nope, got rid of all of them a long time ago.
Well, this may be a stretch, but I wonder if it could have something to do with the Rom, etc. u r running.
I am running Illuminance 3.0

The issue lies in that we in the Android Community are flash-a-holics. Each time that you flash a new rom, not an update of your current version, the Amazon Appstore will register your phone as a new device. To fix this you have to clear out all of these extra registered devices.
Go to www.amazon.com and click "Your Digital Items" in the upper right corner. Under Amazon Appstore for Android, click "Your Apps & Devices". On the left side of the page under Manage, click "Your devices". There you will find your phone listed many times. Delete all but the current one.
Back on your phone, now in Settings>Applications>Manage Applications - locate Appstore and clear data. I learned this from an Appstore tech.
Keep your fingers crossed but you shouldn't have any further problems.
Nice find !!

Sadly, this appears to have not worked. My wife and I both did this fix on our phones (wiped data, deleted devices, now have only 1 device listed, etc.). Tried to install apps last night and ended up with the same "can't push install" issue we did before.
Meh.
I was using Tibu to try and unlink an app from the market. I kinda lept before I looked :banghead: and destroyed all my market links.
Now I can't see any apps purchased
or installed in my apps on the market.
I've tried market doctor in Tibu, flashing latest gapps, clearing cache. Also a complete reinstall of the ROM.
Any idea how I can get the market to see my apps again?.
Also I am logged in it notices my account.

Have you tried restoring your backups? That should bring back the market links unless you turned off that setting in the preferences. Also, have you tried downloading a free app? Sometimes that causes the market to "refresh" itself. I actually have the opposite problem where I can't get a market link to stay destroyed!
In Tibu, hit menu, market tools, market doctor.
Then go to settings, applications, manage applications, all, market, and clear data.
Then you open the market you'll have to accept the end user agreement again, and all should be golden
Tried the free app. Didn't work.
No joy with market doctor and clearing cache either.

My mistake it was data I cleared. Still can't see my apps. New old or paid.
I wonder if I install a different ROM would help?

What the heck, I am so sick of this disrupting me 4 times a day!
Do I have this because I used moborobo to transfer my stuff?
No one else but me is dealing with this, 4-5 times per day? No one else?

Apparently so!
I'm not sure how to help but let me try.
What's the phone doing when you get these errors?
Have you changed the dpi to the app or your phone?
Do you have a logcat file of when this event occurs?
Some things you can try are wiping data and cache of the app. Try removing your account off your device, and re adding your account again. This cleared up some errors for me before.

What IS mobomarket?
Did it come stock on my phone or was it synched from my pc after I downloaded moborobo to transfer my data?
It didn't come with the phone. It's a third party app. Feel free to remove it.

Thanks,
That takes care of auto updating, what about auto synching? (I didn't "update" any of the mobo stuff, it was synched)
Goto system settings then accounts and sync

I have searched and called high and low all over Google and talked to reps. Can't seem to kick this Error Code 403. It is only the paid apps that won't download. Tried all sorts of methods of clearing cache to play store, Google services, Google framework, Uninstall updates, Factory resets, Removing accounts and re adding. Clearing cache in recovery. All with restarting before attempting a redownload on both WiFi and mobile networks. Please someone help. Out of the box it does this to me and it sucks.

Go back out and started up play store like normal. Cant remember if I got error first time, but okayed it and started it again. Then it loaded in and havent had issue since

Update the latest version of play store.
Did you have multiple Google accounts on your last phone? Make sure you are downloading the app with the same account that you originally made the purchase with. I had multiple accounts on my S3, then when I got my S5 I only put one of the accounts back on and was getting this error for a few apps even though GPlay said "purchased". You might also want to check that the date and time on the phone are correct.

You were absolutely correct. For some reason some of my purchased apps were showing on the wrong account under the all section. It went away after wiping and being careful which account I downloaded from. Thanks for the help guys.

Just use only one account in play store. don't do multiple.

Cool story bro.
Jk. How about some more info? Are you running something custom? Have you tried anything to fix it, like any reset steps? Is the local Walgreens the only place you had a problem? Gotta give us something to work with here... ☺

Try completely uninstalling the app, reinstall, try again. Have you checked to make sure NFC is working otherwise? Maybe test it if you have an nfc sticker or by trying to tap-to-connect to another device. Clearing Google play services cache or logging out of your Google acct, then back in may help too. There is a chance it may have been the receiver at this one store. Perhaps try another place after some of these steps and see if it works. Also, was the payment coming back "denied" or was it just not reading it? If it's being denied, it may have to do with fund processing with your account, and not anything to do with hardware / software. Try making a payment with your Google card to see.

Completely uninstalling the app would not be an option without root since Google Wallet is a system app now.
Yeah you can't uninstall the app but I did a wipe data and cache didn't work in installed update still didn't work. Might try a factory data reset. Hopefully this will work. I did use another card it still wasn't reaponding . The cashier says tender cannot be processed Google wallet is telling me denied. For more info press help. The help didn't really tell me anything.
I'd also like to mention it was working before I took the of1 update. Wondering if the new update has anything to do with it

Definitely could be, but I can't confirm since I am rooted with a custom ROM based on the OE2 firmware.
