I have my LG G4 h811 rooted with android 6.0 and when i try opening any app that needs root it force reboots.. Apps like dsploit, game killer, kernel adiutor, kernel tuner, flashify, etc anyone have an idea?

Problem might be you are not rooted to start with and those apps don't work without jt

with root checker it says i have root access and i been giving root apps permission to the root I tried unrooting and then rooting again and no change

Well.. Flashing a different version of superSu wasn't good for my phone, 90% battery and while in the middle of flashing the phone freaked out and shut off then got stuck in a bootloop -_- lg's are retarded.. any way of fixing without data loss? or is it the only way to fix by flashing new system?

Alright i flashed stock firmware on it with lg bridge tool and attempted using the supersu zip and again it bootlooped ??? its acting as if the phone isn't rootable anymore i'm lost on what to do now it gets to the T-mobile logo and then reboots after i flash supersu

not sure what is happening but do this... use
LGUP not lg bridge.. download latest KDZ wich is 20v for tmobile when you are about to flash select refurbish option.

Okay that worked Thanks! But i have now no google services are working keeps saying no internet connection with data,wifi,usb connections but apps like messenger work fine ?.. chrome won't even connect and i'm not able to setup a google account at all

very strange. never heard of similar issue.. best now is to do a search. and read see if someone had same issue and try to get it fixed..
how old is your phone.? have you used other roms .? was it unlocked or did you unlck it.?

As of right now the device is unlocked and i bought the device refurbished so i have no idea on how old it is. and i used a rom for 7.1 that worked before and there was no problems until it started force rebooting.. i did some google searches and theres problems similar to mine but the fixes don't work for me

could it be that your phone its not a h811.. i mean it was sell as a h811 but inside motherboard its different.. but the part that bootloader is unlocked puzzles me. i asked if you unlcoked or came unlcoked bootloader..
only way to tell is to take phone apart and look at actual motherboard plaque number or variant.
maybe you have a h815 phone... i dont know.. a kdz and refurbished should it fix it..
its upto you if you want to open it.. i cant think of anything else.

Really late reply, But where would it be located on the board?

remove it have it in your hand the actual motherboard look carefully it should have model number printed there.

You have to physically remove motherboard to see it
I have 810/with unlocked bootloader....at least I think I do.
Mine was serviced for power failure so it was T-Mobile now is ATT h810 that is all I know for now

I'm confused Either LG labeled my device wrong or my device is just very compatible with OS's, The sticker under the battery says "H811" and on the motherboard it said H810 but it has had an official h811 KDZ flashed to it and roms for H811 ???

same as @deltadiesel strange you have franken phone made of different variants. but your phone then is a h810 .. i know steadfasterX flashed h811 and unlocked phone as a h811. am not sure if you can flash h810 KDZ

Yes you can flash and so convert a h810 to a h811 and then unlock like you do on a h811.
This does NOT work for other models like the h815 and even the above requires to take care of the ARB!
Hard fact is what deltadiesel described: your board. If you see there a h810 written it is one. The rest can be tricked by software that's why you see h811 in android.
PS: There exists one exclusion but this has not happened here.

Called lg for escalation department
Told them because they put wrong motherboard I can't use the network i want if it were T-Mobile motherboard. They asked how I know it is ATT 810... I told them I opened it. They said this voids warranty. I said you lie to me about what you repair my device with, that is fooling customer. LG repair facility is going to contact me. Repair will be free of charge as long as as there is no physical or liquid damage. I told hem well you cant sell a product fix it and then have a customer think it is the same product when it is not, if I didn't open device I wouldn't have known you lied to me. I was out of warranty either way, and told them you have info what device was repaired with when it serviced.... This is what you guys did.

exactly like my Device! in Fastboot Mode shows Phone Unlocked! even i checked the unlocking bootloader by CMD,that shows Unlocked too.But I cant Flash any Recovery on My Honor 4x Che-tl00H.its necessary to say,I never Unlocked My Bootloader.But every Methods are saying,its Unlocked,even DC-unlocker.Guy's,Whats the problem?I Really need a Costume Recovery.because of a Bigger issue...
solution
download official rom and put update.APP to dload folder on SD card.
than turn off phone and press all three buttons together Volume + and - and power.
It will install fresh os on your phone

It's a known issue with some device models. The device reports it's unlocked but in reality it isn't. Perform the normal unlock steps to unlock your boot loader despite it reports it unlocked.

Help!!!!!
i tried a wrong Way to Change My ROM.my Device is Che-TL00H But i flashed a Che2-L11 Rom on my device with CMD.i flashed everything that was flashable with CMD.important to say,more than 90% of files have been flashed.(just 2 or 3 file couldn't flash).
the worst issue is: i flashed fastboot.img & fastboot1.img successfully.and now i have not any thing to turnback my old rom.
simply,i have No fastboot & Rescue mode!!!!
whats the solution??!!

So you can't even start your device i.e. it doesn't even reaches the pre-boot screen (the Honor logo). You should have never ever flashed fastboot image. If your device reaches Honor logo, then bootloader is fine and fastboot should work but if that isn't the case, you have screwed it up big time. Still do reply back, we'll see what we can do

jtag Box needs to be coupled with Bootloader flashing tool and the necessary bootloader files. Since none of them are available, you are in a pretty hard spot.

ive got taken it to huawei repair center. so they told me that they dont have jtag dump file for that model (che-tl00h) to repair my boot

No my bro.it's Dead.you should change your mobile mother board with another honor 4x(it's expensive) or you should find a programed EMMC that exactly is for che-tl00h(almost hard to find for this model) or sell your hard bricked phone(best way like my way). Of course you can find your dump files and give them to a technician for flashing on a unprogramed EMMC,but I know you can not find dump files for this model easily.
This is a real experience for focusing on model of the phone that we purchase for next shopping.
We should just buy a Global released model,not a china model.

We should find dump file for repair the boot.but never can find these dumps.It's only solution to repair it i think!

I accidentally hard bricked it while flashing MM 20o kdz on low battery and it's totally dead (no download mode, no charging etc) after that I goes to gaffar market Delhi and able to alive my g4 once again.
But after coming home I noticed, that buddy flashed wrong firmware in my phone it flashed h810 MM 20c
Now my phone contains a lot of bugs ( no app is uninstalling, not able to set screen lock pin etc) now I try to flash MM H811 20o by LGUP, but it fails every time after 4% - 7%
Please help me is there anyway to fixed it, can I restored it as I brought lollipop 5.1 H811 10n

did you phone had tmobile apps.? maybe its not a h811.? a frankenphone means parts from other phone but motherboard is not h811.

When I saw my hardware info in about phone it shows h810, but in download mode when kdz file flashing failed, mobile shows LGL991 zvb and before all this trouble it is T-Mobile H811 LP. I'm so tired what to do please help

search for a video of G4 dissasembly. your potherboard its still attached in those pics. i beleive its on the other side of that plaque.

You are in luck buddy google lgg3 stuck on configuring device. Its like disconect wifi vol up and home. And u can bypass it. But google for proper procedure. There is no zvg tot available yyet. Once u get in let me know if its the nougat update yet.

Factory Reset, start configuring language, dont connect any WIFI or DATA and Next button after this the screen show Configuring Phone, press volume up + volume down - home button and button back, and Woola bypass the stupid activation

I have another problem, now it says that SIM card is invalid. I cannot connect to mobile network. It seems it is SIM locked, but I used current SIM with this phone and had no problems. Do you know guys is there some possible way to unlock again this phone without root? Again, I cannot contact Sprint because I'm not their user.

you might be able to try some trusted 3rd party unlckers no way to downgrade either or brick will result to try inter nat rom so thats not an option either and problem with some 3rd party unlock companys is sprint still has apns greyed out so not able to mod them some have reported ok but basicly now its a monetary risk and in my opinion the device isnt really worth investing any cash into except for the camera no root methods are available beyond zv6 firmware no downgrade possible

you might look for sevice menu ## codes look for a setting that says itson and disable it may need msl code n wich is still obtainable throught sprint its hard work but i have done it many times
mayers unlock method sometimes requires manual diable of itson to get rid of invalid sim card notification

When I connect phone to computer it is recognized as "Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008". Is there any solution to unbrick this phone? Any answer would help. Thanks!

I would take it back to said shop and raise hell they damaged it they need to replace it. What firmware were u on. It dont really matter. The firehose.bin for qfil to reflash fone doesnt work for g4. Unless someone has made a new one but i havent seen one yet. You might try lgs waranty. Claim to have bootlooped. Or something like that

i think local store trying to downgrade ZVE/ZVF and has 9008. But it hasnt octoplus/z3x for fix it.

I dont know. If i tear up someones phone im working on. Its kinda my obligation to fix or replace it. I do unlock what phones i can. Repair. Root and modify. I wo far have a perfect track record with customer devices. But. If it ever came about i brick one. Like said. I kinda feel obligated. Or is that not a thing but a courtousy?

I wo far have a perfect track record with customer devices. But. If it ever came about i brick one. Like said. I kinda feel obligated. Or is that not a thing but a courtousy?

i have an h811 on a 20r stock rom and im trying to root it and install a custom rom but i cant seem to make it reboot into bootloader... everytime i try to do so it simply restarts... the drivers are fine and the adb identifies it... oem unlock is ticked and debugging as well
any ideas?
the h815 needs a key .. h811 should boot into bootloader .. is phone refurbished.?

well am not sure either am just guessing it could be that. as it doesnt want it just reboot not sure if other variants does that.. the only way is to open phone and take motherboard and read the plaque model it should say there and thats your variant. you can wait for other answers am just thinking . with mine it does boot into bootloader seems you have everything set up. so unless its not a h811 as we dont need bin key to unlock. and h815 does.. not sure what a locked bootloader phone that cant be unlocked does when command is given

well they can use i think ls99 its sprint mother board and edit the model number to h811 on the software. so like i said open it take out and see model number on plaque. if its says LS9 sprint them search to see what other have done. i think you dont have a h811. or i would return phone and demand a real h811
i took the phone brand new for around 100$ sealed... the company is located in UAE which i was in vacation in and i came back to jordan where im living ,,, it would impossible.. im fine with the phone ill have to find my way around it i guess...this way i should handle it as a ls99 not as a h811 i guess... thank you so much for your help brother

search see what other people have done .. some go with what mother boardplate says.

Im new at Rooting, but I'm good at following instruction from videos, forums, and whatever I get my hands on. I have an LG G4, that I recently rooted. There are some issue with Root, and some applications I cant run (like snapchat- I had tried with Rootswitcher and Magisk but failed).
I followed instructions from several videos and forums here at Xda-Devs. But nothing seems to work. I have download multiple firmwares but everytime i get an error. the lgflashtool14 goes up to 9 % and there is some logs in my phone, but everything stops.
Also I want to mentioned that this are the steps that i rooted
Please any help will be appreciated, I want to go back to stock. :fingers-crossed:

why flash other variants? what phone you have,?? why use flashtools and not LGUP try LGUP.

Hey Raptorddd,
I have a LG G4 h811. And i been trying using LGUp but when i plug my phone under model it says "unlnown". I been trying to fix with but with no solution. Well other t mobile variants i meant there are like 4 out there and i have different errors.

then i think its not a h811. open up phone and take motherborad out see what it says on the actual motherboard in your hand, what ever it says flash that, maybe is not a h811

Hey man, I followed your instructions, and in one side of the motherboard says, EAX #####501_h810_main_1.0. Would that be the firmware im looking for.??
*edit : its weird since I look up the H810 is a ATT, but I got this Phone in Tmobile
*edit 2: by dialing *#*#244773825625#*#* it gives me this - HW version Rev1.0 - Factory Version LGH811AT-01-V20r-310-260-jan-11-2017-arb03-SW ORIGINAL VERSION *same as the factory version*- Anti rollback version 3-

go by what the motherboard says.. if you got it from tmobile return it.
yes seems yours its a att 810
motherboard is what determines your variant other things can be edited but not that number and printing on mitherboard
yes weird they might be refurbishing phone using other motherboards

Well I got it more than a year, unfortunately. Also I tried LGup and it gets the port and what software Im using, But model says unknown. I want to select the phone, but first i have to select the model, is there any fix in this situation?!

Ok, but i might not be able to return it since its past the year. And with LGup I open the software and states that MODEL "unknown" and gets the COM port and the software im runing in a small window. Is there any fix for it, that you know of?.

do you have the h810 KDZ .? not sure i can help much more.. maybe try in the KDZ go back to stock thread or do search..
or try updating this files

I have it, but I attempt to flash it with lgflashtools and still stuck at 9%. Also tried LGup, and still im unable to do anything with that program
