Ok so I kept hearing that the text to speech on Samsung Messages you could turn off the Hide Offensive Words but the problem would return when using the Bixby key to Dictate.
Here's the solution:
Ok so to remove it fully in Bixby there's a secret (not so secret but tricky to get to menu). You have to hold the Bixby button down while in a text message (to dictate your message) while this voice recognition screen is up (while still holding the Bixby button in) hit the On-Screen gear button.
This takes you to Bixby's actual hidden dictation menu with IT'S OWN "Hide Offensive Words" option you have to turn off.

Hello People,
I've looked around and can only find details for remapping the PTT button, which has no affect on the button on the headphones.
If you double press the button it calls the last number you dialed, If you press and hold it, it opens voice commander (if installed) But ive installed Microsoft Voice Command and now the function has stopped working all together, do any of you know how to manipulate this button in the registry?
Thanks in advance.
I believe this has something to do with new Android system.
I have some older apps like nbpro or simple task switcher that don't have three dots. Is there any way on tab s2 to remap an existing key to menu key? For example, long press switching or long press home will activate menu?
I found that I can have more settings key by activating assistant menu under accessibility. Assistant menu is a cyan circle, once tapped, it explodes to show further onscreen keys. To able to assign more settings to a key off the screen or to a gesture would be nice. I am not ready to root my tab s2 yet. Or else using xposed would be handy.
Long press the back button. It brings up settings/menu
Long press back key does work sometimes.
In some app like nbpro, the menu, more options appear when I hold back key after lo press. When I release after the long press the more options disappear. It sometimes does not register very well. I don't know if it is something to do with the app or something to do with the system.
Don't hate me for liking Bixby, but I find it useful for some things., or at least I used to. On my GS9, while composing a message, I was able to hold the Bixby button and it would dictate my speech to text. The Note 9 seems to be missing this option, or I am simply overlooking it. Sure, I can just click the microphone button on the bottom of the keyboard, but I like pressing the button.
From what I can tell, you are supposed to open Bixby Home and enable it in the settings menu. The menu option exists on my wife's Note 8 but not on my Note 9.
Is this the "new" Bixby? Is it still an unfinished product? I thought Bixby 2.0 was supposed to add features, not take away.
I am giving Bixby a try too. I just literally set it up a few minutes ago. Disabling my BxAction temporarily.

That looks set to change, as Samsung listens to user feedback and allows the Bixby button to be deactivated when the Note 9 is showing the Lock screen. Abhijeet Mishra reports for SamMobile:
In a reply to someone complaining about the Bixby button on Twitter, Samsung Germany says “deactivation of the Bixby button on lock screen should return until end of September.” Now, it’s unclear why it mentions the lock screen, but we’re guessing that’s just a minor mistake and the option will let users completely disable the Bixby button.

Hi. I used "go to main screen voice command", but there is 3 sec delay with Blue blob at the top. Can I make Bixby button go directly to home screen without any delay and blobs? I used to use Bixby button remapper but i'm trying to use phone tools if I can.
