[VIDEO] [1080p] Pixel 2 Locations Live Wallpapers - Android Themes

Hi guys lot of people asked for the videos of the Pixel 2 Live Wallpapers so they can set them as a loop video for the homescreen (for those device which does not support the porting or because of the lagg of it).
Then, here's the Pixel 2 live wallpapers video. The videos are 1080p and 60sec long:
A walk in the clouds, Hawaii
Claiming coastline, Lagos
Flying above, Monument Valley
Half Dome, Yosemite National Park, CA
Hidden fires, Mount Vesuvius
Hint of salt, Salar de Uyuni

Why can't I add it to my device, I hate mega so much.
---------- Post added at 11:56 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:49 PM ----------
I for the life of me can't figure out how the living hell I'm supposed to transfer a file from mega to my phone when all it does is open the video
---------- Post added at 11:59 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:56 PM ----------
I figured it out, I had to save it for offline, open fx, find the mega folder in storage, find the video in the offline storage folder, move it somewhere not in the mega folder and then it worked. Literally the most puzzle like file host ever.
All anger aside great job thank you.

Had I known that at the time I would have lol, I just have a deep hatred for mega lol

Thank you so much.
Someone know how to set the video as wallpaper?

Hidden Fires is twice instead of Half Dome.
Thanks anyway.

Maybe I'm dumb, but how can I use it as my "wallpaper"? Tried the Google Wallpapers App, but I can't choose any file that is video.

Hello darkalex97,
Thank you for the video files, but 'Hint of salt, Salar de Uyuni' seems to be broken, as the video is just a still image of the sea.
Or is it the way it is?

Great job, I really appreciate it!
But unfortunately I noticed that Calming coastline first few seconds of the video are blurry, is it possible to fix this so you remove first some seconds of the video?
Thank you very much for your time and effort

i was observing it for the past two years and nothing happened. legend says this wallpaper doesnt move to this day.

Need Help adding Wallpapers to my upcoming Theme

I have completed Framework and 2-3 more apks its turn of launcher its completed too just adding wallpapers is left
The problem is this: When i add more wallpapers (Wallpaper_name.jpg , Wallpaper_name_small.jpg) properly resized, after adding them to launcher, they sometimes don't show up in the menu -> wallpapers -> wallpaper gallery
or sometimes get added but while scrolling it comes to the thumbnail(small) wallpaper before it & hangs then says me to force close means its added but dosent even shows its small nor full pic.
only the default ones work
what can be the problem & how to solve this problem ?
I have tried :
1. Making the pic small in size(KB) by using PHOTOSHOP CS4 save for web & devices .... Still wont work
2. Tried usind different wallpaper from other themes......they too may hang or wont show up
some one plz help
This seems to be the problem we are all running in to. It seems to be a file size and free space issue within the OS that is causing the angst.
What I personally have decided to do is provide wallpaper pictures in a seperate downloadable file and just copy the images to the SD card to install teh wallpaper that way. It will keep the file size down and allow the user to choose the wallpaper that they want.
i havent been able to "add" wallpapers to anytheme, what i have done is just save my custom wallpaper with the same name as one of the defaults, replacing it in launcher and it works. my very first theme was like this so it isnt related to space issues
ya it isnt space problem its something related ti the jpg images i tried removing all the stock wallpapers only kept the one default , then added one of mine means it had only two wallpapers means even more space in the system partition
but when i install it it starts properly with default wallpaper but when i go into wallpaper selection it asks to force close that apk...
so i think the images too must be hard coaded or the xmls need to be edited...
trying using blank images to keep file size down. plus check out your theme size. roughly round 10.7, 10.8 is the limit i experienced. Makes sure you also signing your launcher apk
The theme is not complete so there only framework-res.apk, launcher.apk, contacts.apk, camera.apk in it with signed certificates and update-script in it
After installing it completes the installization successfully, then boots up properly with custom glow boot screen I can use the phone as normal, make calls, emails, and all the functionality...
But when I go to choose wallpaper, it hangs at the thumbnail image before the custom one... why is this happening I can't understand but I ll try getting it before theme competition...
Also I ll try using blank images and let u know... after m at home how I am in college...
Succeded but lost something
I have succeeded installing those wallpapers but i had to name it after the default ones so lost the default wallpapers...
yeah thats exactly what u need to do, just replace the icons or wallpapers form within the system, dont think there is another way to properly "add" things on top of the system...
and trust me, no one will miss the default wallpapers...
thanks guys i ll be soon posting the screenshots of my theme

Speaking of replacing things..... is that clock for FadeToBlue in the works? You've got my hopes up high when you've said you'd make one for me. Not a biggie, it's just that original FadeToBlue clock drives me nuts. Theme is all clean, proffesional looking and clock looks like...well...ummm... I should probably shut up now or I'll upset "Damnitpud"
Now, that I hijacked this thread....sangeet.003 , good luck with those wallpapers
Sorry

Accelerometer Apps?

Hey guys I recently updated my Pebble Original to 2.5 and got to know that it has Accelerometer. Now my question is that is there any app/game which can works on Accelerometer? I installed a game app named as Fallout I guess and there is an option to select motion control but whenever I do that app crashes.
Regards
The Pebble Team released the official Compass app. It might not be the thin you're looking for, but it's fun for enough to check it out.

After using that I was so curious to see more apps so I posted here I hope some developers would develop apps/games in future for this awesome device.
Pebblin - an air violin
Bubble Level
Falldown - marble game with gesture support
Music Boss - has gesture support for music control
Simply Alarm Holo - has gesture for snoozing/dismissing alarms

Also I think you're confused. We've had Accelerometer (motion) support long before v2.5, many months now in fact.
What they added to v2.5 was Magnetometer (compass) support.

Have you already emailed the developer to let him know? It didn't used to, but I haven't tried it since probably firmware v2.2 or so.

[BOOTANIMATION] [1080p] Google Dots Pure/PureVS

The old lollipop boot animation remixed with the new Google logo!
Note:
1. Only resemblance with the stock Google animation is that it boots sequentially
and waits for boot to finish to show final animation.
2. View Safe (VS Suffix in Downloads) has reduced white for people who find the pure version, well, blinding!
3. Actual animation is as smooth as shown in video! Use the 720pScaleTo1080p version if not smooth!
4. Don't PM me for other resolutions, comment on thread quoting me! (No Guarantees!)

Like i've pointed out in the main post, it should be as smooth as the preview video, and again as i mentioned in the main post, try 720pScaledTo1080p. It's probably a hardware/software limitation. (and please don't tell me how that's not possible and how awesome your one plus 2 is :silly: , i've tested on multiple phones (as i dont want noobs to get a bootloop and spam my mailbox), and have found it to be smooth.) If you find it to be slow even then(after using 720pScaledTo1080p version), pm me. I'll try and help.

You're right, the scaled version works perfectly. Thanks Should read the post more carefully next time... I still think it's a pity that the 1080p animation doesn't work that well even though my OnePlus 2 is awesome

For those reading the comments wondering if the scaled one looks good or not, it DOES. It looks really good and if you're having problems with the 1080p original it's better to change to the scaled one.

does cornerfly show popup ads? I've tried a few of the apps that add rounded corners but after awhile I noticed they had popup ads which were really annoying. if not I would've continued using them.
There's an app called EDGE MASK that does round the corner too and it is totally free (no pop up ads on homescreen)

Nope, don't have this issue at all. But perhaps you could take a picture of it vs a screenshot so you can show people what to look for. Since not everyone would be able to figure out what you're talking about.

Ah, that has to do with the launcher itsself and is not a hardware issue. Google did something similar with the Pixel 2 launcher making everything look washed out. If you need convincing keep dark mode on and load an image and you won't see those lines there.

Yes, using Nova I don't see it. Pixel Launcher I do see some horizontal lines at the top.
Also if there were a hardware issue, taking a screenshot would not help show anything.
