OLED panel difference between Tab S2 9.7 2015 and 2016 model - Galaxy Tab S2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi All,
Can anyone say or know for certain if the OLED Panel with digitizer are the same or different for SM-T810/815 and SM-T813/819 (so the 2015 and the 2016 release)
For reference I've ordered a panel for the SM-T815 with the part number GH97-17729B
But for the SM-T819 it comes back as GH97-18911
Are they compatible?

Samsung Galaxy S 5

For those who do not know
Source: http://gadgets.ndtv.com/mobiles/new...s5s-525-inch-qhd-amoled-display-report-462909
"As we are approaching the end of 2013, Samsung's alleged 2014 flagship smartphone; the Galaxy S5 is hitting the rumour mill on a regular basis. The latest buzz about Samsung's next flagship reveals that it would sport a 5.25-inch QHD (Quad HD) AMOLED display and that it has entered mass production.
Sammobile*cites a*Korean publication*and claims that the display for alleged Galaxy S5 would comprise diamond pixel arrangement, which the company has reportedly used on Samsung's 2013 flagship smartphone,*Galaxy S4*and recently unveiled*Galaxy Note 3. The report suggests that the new diamond pixel arrangement would offer enhanced sharpness and pixel density.
Further, the Galaxy S5's screen resolution is said to be 1440x2560 pixels, with the pixel density to be 560ppi, much in-line with our earlier reports. Not too long ago, a GFXBench listing had revealed a device codenamedSamsung SM-G900S sporting a screen resolution of 1440x2560 pixels*(2K).
Recent reports have already suggested that the South Korean manufacturer has plans to*release two versions of the alleged Galaxy S5. As per the report, there would be two variants of the Galaxy S5: a premium variant which would sport a metal chassis and a flexible OLED, and a variant which will come with the usual plastic body, as found on other Galaxy smartphones.
Earlier this month, a report claimed that the*South Korean maker would again use plastic for its next flagship smartphone, instead of the*metal chassis rumoured for quite some time.
Rumoured specifications of the alleged Galaxy S5 include a 64-bit Exynos chipset or a Snapdragon chipset; 3GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel camera, a 4000mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat with TouchWiz UI on top.
Samsung has also been rumoured to equip the allegedGalaxy S5 with an eye-scanning sensor. Samsung's expected next flagship smartphone (the Galaxy S5) will probably be the first device to pack such a feature.
Some reports have indicated that Samsung may announce the*Galaxy S5 as early as January, in a bid to overcome 'disappointing' Galaxy S4 sales."
4000mAh....
I wish but I don't think that's going to happen.

Samsung planning April release for Galaxy S5, considering iris scan technology

Well, looks like Samsung will indeed be sticking to its usual schedule of announcing new Galaxy S flagships in March and launching them in April. Lee Young Hee, executive vice president of the company’s mobile business, confirmed to Bloomberg that the Galaxy S5 would launch sometime in April, along with the second-generation Galaxy Gear (already hinted at by another Samsung exec.)
“We’ve been announcing our first flagship model in the first half of each year, around March and April, and we are still targeting for release around that time,” Lee said. “When we release our S5 device, you can also expect a Gear successor with more advanced functions, and the bulky design will also be improved.” He also mentioned that the Galaxy S5 would feature a radically different design with a focus on the display, as the lack of visual differences between the Galaxy S III and Galaxy S4 were part of the reason why the latter didn’t sell as well as expected.
Lee also mentions that the company is looking at implementing iris/retina scanning technology for its next flagship, lending credence to the plethora of rumors that have been swirling around in the last few months. “Many people are fanatical about iris recognition technology and we are studying the possibility,” said Lee; his words suggest that even if the Galaxy S5 doesn’t sport the iris scan feature, at least the Galaxy Note 4 could do so when it launches later this year.
The Galaxy S5 is expected to sport a QHD (2,560×1,440) 2K display, a Snapdragon 800 processor/64-bit Exynos processor, 3GB/4GB of RAM, 16-megapixel camera, and Android 4.4 KitKat. It is also expected to be the first Samsung flagship to have a metal construction, at least on one of its variants.

huh
I don't know how keen i am about retina scans for your phone. I have had eye surgery and really dislike the idea of stuff messing with my eyeballs.
I mean at one point you gotta ask yourself " how much security is to much?". I will stick with a pin number. Finger print scans, iris/retina, God only knows what is next?

Trying to buy part: SM-T715c & SM-T715 use the same LCD Display Assembly replacement?

Trying to buy part: SM-T715c & SM-T715 use the same LCD Display Assembly replacement?
Hi, I cracked my SM-T715c screen (LTE version of Tab S2 8.0).
My version is not typical T715 version. It is the Chinese SM-T715C version.
I think T710(Wifi) screen part and T715(LTE) screen part are different.
How about between T715 & T715c?

Really? I need to order in so I need to make sure.
I don't know for certain, but there is no reason for the displays not to be identical.
This is an OLED display, not LCD btw.

Question Tab S8+ S Pen part number?

Hey All, would anyone know the part number on their S Pen for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Plus? I have two generations of S Pens and cannot tell them apart.
It's usually the one with the bigger number. Also the Tab S8 (Ultra) pen is significantly smaller/thinner than it's predecessor (Tab S7 for example).
