Hi guys,
I got MM. And I got Xposed installed with all my Xposed apps. It was recommended that I remove Xposed Framework temporarily. If I uninstall it, will all my Xposed apps also be removed or will they stay until I reinstall the Framework again?

No.
They are all separate APK's, so they stay installed.unless you uninstall them yourself. [emoji41]

Hello all,
Just switched over from the HTC M8 and I was able to use app ops X to control app permissions. Unfortunately I can't remember the circumstances of installing that app and using it. I've researched it again and I've found that you need Xposed framework to use it now but I know for certain I didn't have Xposed installed on my M8 and still used App Ops X. Anyways, my question is if I'm missing something about installing this app, maybe someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks

Some of the roms it was caked in because most roms started including xposed baked in.

Thanks for the reply. Is there a standalone Xposed framework? I am trying to keep stock ROM.

Not on lollipop. For now and maybe forever.
Download https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.findsdk.apppermission and use that app and you'll have app ops there. Can use it on stock, just need root.

of course, you'd have to trust this app more than the permissions in other apps you wanna disable...

All it does is a shortcut to go to App Ops thats already built into Android.
Honestly if you're going to have that mentality, then you should be worried about everything on XDA when it comes to kernels, roms, apps, themes, etc. It works.

you're right, folks should be careful what they choose to install, lot's of good stuff here but folks should make up their own mind

This didn't work for me on 5.0.1 stock rooted.
Here's the extended Power Menu for Moto X Style XT1572 lph23.116-18.
This adds Reboot and Reboot to Recovery options to your Power Menu.
Not sure if it will work on the XT575 but if you try please do a backup first as it replaces framework-res.apk.
You must be on a deodexed rom for this to work.
DOWNLOAD
HERE
INSTALL
Make a backup in case it doesn't work for you
Flash in twrp recovery
Reboot & enjoy
Install apm+ with xposed, it will give more options and choices
APM+ or even gravitybox will gove those options but I guess for those who don't want xposed this isn't too bad
Isn't too bad? The disrespect in this forum is criminal.
Thanks @not-i. This mod is much appreciated. I tried to get this working for myself awhile ago but was unsuccessful. I'll have to check out what you did and compare it to my edits.

Yeah no kidding. Of course xposed had the option. I too was using it but as I am cooking a rom you want it baked in from the first boot.
I had made the mod and noticed no one else has so thought I would share it. Now I'll think twice about sharing my rom if people on this forum are so ungrateful

Any way to make one that works on Odexed? Stop giving the OP a hard time, this is actually really useful. Good for Enterprises does a check for xposed and will fail to launch if it finds it. So I could really use this, as I can't install xposed.

If I supply the framework-res for the 1575, could you mod that one for us? I can't find the android policy.jar though....?
Same, doesn't work on my xt1572 stock 6.0

Awesome, glad to hear it, change the title of your post to [SOLVED] so other people can see the solution if they run into the same problem.
I have a similar issue, but I do not have the disabled file.
What I do have is this in my log: "forcing image recompilation because /data/dalvik-cache/arm64/[email protected]@boot.art is not compiled for the current Xposed version".
Any ideas? Thanks!
Someone can help me?
Wich one are compatible framework to my sm g900f v6.0.1 .. pls? :crying:
Framework not active..
It says cannot find /data/data/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/conf/modules.list :crying::crying:
I am in a little bit of confusion here as Xposed is saying I don't have the latest version of the framework, but I have the latest version of the framework from the Xposed website. Can someone help with this?
Which device you have and which Xposed you tried?
Sent from my lightning fast SM-G930F (S7)
You downloaded the latest version from the Xposed site, so the way it sounds is as if you just download the Xposed Installer, but you didn't install Xposed itself.
You need to flash the zip for Xposed Framework.
