Hello,
I experience Mi 5 default music player cannot load or play m4a file in play list. Can anyone recommend me how to do or any room that can support it?
Thank you.
Alex
use another player
Thanks. Could you recommend the app?
AIMP works fine for me. The default music player can't play .m4a due to patent licensing issues.
I recommend Blackplayer EX or PowerAmp.

hey folks.
is there any way to get flac support on the optimus 2x?
i've checked the most music players but it won't work.
thx for your help!
there is flac support in all music players i think, its working fin here
but why my LG isn't playing any flac?
the flac files aren't in any file list of the music players.
and i'm using the modaco fr19 ROM. if this is maybe a problem?
try poweramp, and if it's still not working so i think you have a problem
hmm you are right!
poweramp plays the flac files.
thank you!
Hi!
PowerAmp is a very good app
But in CM7, the stock app can play Flac file
Thanx in advance.
p.s. - no, im not going to convert my entire music to playable mp3 format ...
i use mobo player pro, it works nice.
Try poweramp available in the market. You get approximately 2 weeks to test before you buy.
huh?

Hi all,
Just wondering what video player apps (free/paid) that's best for playing ANIME with Subtitle? (similar to PC's Media Player Classic thingy?able to choose audio and subtitle?)
Not sure anyone has hobby like mine, but I do carry some anime with me on my SD Card to watch on the go on my previous PDA (HTC KAISER) and it plays perfectly. (althou some doesn't have subtitle)
Anyone have similar situation and some advise to this android newbie?
17/02/2012 updates: (tested anime with .mkv files)
***Tried MoboPlayer 1.2.200 - great at playing the videos, but no subtitle
***Tried Mobo Video Player Pro v1.0.6 - laggy when playing anime, no subtitle
Regards,

Try either Dice or mVideo player, both work well with anime.
MX Video Player ( https://market.android.com/details?id=com.mxtech.videoplayer.ad and its codec pack at https://market.android.com/details?id=com.mxtech.ffmpeg.v7_neon ) has worked just peachy for me. It does have support for multiple streams et. al., and it's also plenty fast, too.

MX Player all the way! ever since i discovered it it's been my only video player! love it
VLC is in my humble opinion the better choice.

MX Player is the best ! I watch only anime & it has never let me down even once. The new HW+ decoder works wonders
Why don't you try my anime player and downloader? (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=43351881#post43351881)
It won't let you down
BS Player
BS Player
It's free and has all the codecs you'll ever need built in.
MX Player was my player of choice until they had problems securing MKV codec and others.
If you want something that plays practically all file types, is free and lightweight, then BS Player is the one.
Find it on the Play Store.
(I can't add the link, it is against XDA rules, sorry.)
Im using ARCHOS video Player on my GNOTE

How do you organize pdfs? Pdfs are the bane of the organized people. You need to put them in a site, or a subfolder, with all the files similar, yet you also can't have duplicated pdfs.
Just wanting to know which movie player apps everyone is using on their Note 8. I have several movies on my phone and I usually use MX Player Pro or VLC player to play them but some of the movies I have, the audio does not play or sounds real low and squeaky. Maybe I'm missing audio codecs or something?
try Black Player EX ...

for those too lazy to find it.. :silly:

I've always used BS Player. Excellent for network drives and also you can offset the audio track, which is very useful for out of sync audio, which can sometimes happen with a Bluetooth headset or a bad rip
I didn't play too many movies but I don't remember even one that VLC wasn't able to play yet, so it's my player of choice. I know Samsung doesn't have AC3 sound codec included, so any player relying on internal codecs won't work with AC3, but VLC does. If you load the movie onto computer, you can find out what codecs it uses and maybe you can install those as separate package, but as I said IMO VLC is probably the best.
VLC is all you need. I use it on both my phone and computer. It plays everything you throw at it.
MX player. Recently VLC Player is good

When you hit the screen, while a video is playing, under the BS logo there is an arrow pointing to the right. Expand that and full screen is the last option

Hello!
Hey guys I have a question, I noticed that pixel experience rom doesn't have a music app player incorporated so what app should you recommend me?
Obviously I have a Motorola G5S Plus
Google Play Music. It's available on Playstore.

For any music you've saved on storage, I recommend BlackPlayer. For streaming online if would be Google Play Music.
Google Play Music. You can both stream online and listen your personal collection in that. And there is an option to upload a max of 50000 songs into cloud of your account so that you can stream it for free. Even without subscription.
For local music, just go for Retro Music Player
Pi Music Player I recommend... Best Look and utility...
Try musicolet app
Available in playstore
Poweramp is my favorite music player since 2 years ago...

I found Retro Music in AEX ROM, and I'm quite a fan of it now.
No bloat, minimal yet modern and feature rich.
