hey, i want to go back to completely stock, with a locked bootloader. what do i do, flash the full oos rom in twrp, use the unbrick tool which brings back to stock and locking the bootloader for me, or somethin else?
Thanks for help
I don't know if it constitutes the "best" way, but the following guide describes really well how to return to stock to lock the bootloader:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3t/how-to/guide-return-youre-op3t-to-stock-lock-t3569383
Basically wipe the phone, flash the full "stock" update zip, flash stock recovery, and lock bootloader.
Just use a more up-to-date full update zip, then linked in the guide.
There's no "best" method, all methods that ends in returning to stock involves losing all user data, in the same time frame. You can use the unbrick tool, or you can do as Redpoint73 above pointed out.
You need to be on stock OOS and stock recovery to lock your bootloader via Fastbpot, or otherwise your device will be in a dead state, and you'll have to use the unbrick tool.
Cheers!

In the Xperia SP versions which don't allow bootloader unlocking (Bootloader unlock allowed: no) , does the phone not boot in fastboot mode? I can go to Flashtool mode but not to fastboot. Is this the reason why?
update:
I only got you question now.
It is true that fastboot doesn't work with locked bootloaders, and that Flashtool does work.
But that doesn't mean your custom rom or kernel you flash with flashboot will boot. It works for stock.
If you're at 4.1 there are ways to get root and CWM, I don't think there are easy ways to flashing custom rom or installing root or CWM from 4.3 unrooted without unblocking, getting back to 4.1 to get root on 4.3, or perfoming factory reset.
You may want this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2649923
It's a very long way, but at least it works. You can get 4.3 rooted with recovery, but you must go back to 4.1.2 to run CWM once. That is for root; Recovery procedure includes factory resetting...
Hope you can get it working as you want... Locked bootloader really are nasty
So I have a T-mo rooted Nexus 6 running stock rom and kernel presently. I would like to decrypt the phone as I've heard/read I will see an improvement in both performance and battery life. So first question is what would be the best/easiest method to do this and second will I lose root and have to re-root after decrypting. Thanks in advance for any help.
Basically you will have to flash a different boot image that disable the encryption flag.
This will require you to completely wipe your device and start over. Yes, you would have to re-root but if you know how to flash a stock no-encrypt image then rooting is easy and simply requires you to flash the current SuperSU zip from recovery once you are all set up.
Basically follow the long version of this guide. Technically you don't need to flash completely stock and couold just follow the guide in the next section but if you have to factory reset anyway I would want to start fresh:http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/general/guide-flash-factory-images-nexus-6shamu-t2954008
But use this no-encrypt boot image instead that matches the stock google rom you flash:http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/development/disable-forced-encryption-gain-root-t2946715
Once that is done you can flash recovery (or simply boot into TWRP temporarily if you want to keep the stock recovery) and flash Supersu.zip from here and then you're rooted again. I think you could also flash TWRP in the first step above when you are going back to stock but I usually do it at the end for some reason:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1538053
Thank you so much
Guys , I have to sell my phone, so, I decided to do all the necessary to have it stock..
So, the question is, how can I do this? I need the phone like when I bought it
You can do most of this via SRK Tool. If you can't relock bootloader then you can flash your stock update.app via stock recovery and that will relock your bootloader and get rid of root.
Please don't follow this for when you have Nougat beta installed though.
I currently have TWRP recovery.. How can I put stock recovery?
Is better to put 1st the rom and for 2nd the recovery or contrary?
Anyway thanks for answering me!
1. Backup (as always)
2. Flash stock recovery with flashify for example
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=529152257862669572
3. Flash stock Rom b182 with dload-method
http://download-c.huawei.com/download/downloadCenter?downloadId=91783&version=358257&siteCode=de
Now your Bootloader is relocked and everything is stock again (I hope so)
Well, I was poking around where I shouldn't have been and I think I flashed the wrong kernal to my phone. It's just getting a blank screen but I can get into fastboot mode to flash things. I had unlocked the bootloader before I soft bricked it but I flashed a newer version of TWRP and can't get it to open to that so either there's a TWRP issue or the bootloader isn't unlocked. When I attempted to unlock it again it did say "already rooted".
I'm on Linux and can't seem to get Flashtool working in either mode so that's not going to fix me. Is there a way to flash an entire rom via fastboot? I know I would need an ISO versus a ZIP file right?
Anyway, please help, this sucks and I'm at the end of my rope trying new things and don't want to make this any worse.
Anything, just point me in the right direction, I need this thing working ASAP.
Don't worry
There is no problem!
I had the same problem because i try to flash on a locked bootloader. But it is easy to unlock and to flash whatever you want.
But for you, you can flash the right version of recovry and then you can install a rom.
If you just want your smartphone to work, you can flash an official rom (with flashtool). (only official rom can be entirely flash with flashtool).
I hope you understand me
Maybe you can try @munjeni's xflasher:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/crossdevice-dev/sony/dev-xflasher-command-line-flasher-t2986634
Please read OP carefully - its an very powerfull flasher....
OR
Just flash an Kernel (via fastboot) with integrated TWRP - I would recomend Adv Stock for your purpose.
Adv. Stock Kernel https://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/development/kernel-advanced-stock-kernel-t3346328
or
EliteKernel https://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/development/kernel-elitekernel-v1-t3427549
After that flash any ZIP you like...
Hello friends, recently I saw a tutorial on YouTube how to remove the bootloader unlocking notice in Huawei, as a software update arrived for my EVA L09, I wanted to do everything from factory without root or recoverys to install it via ote. So I removed the twrp by the huawei recovery and followed all the steps that the man made and reset the development settings, then I worked in the ADB to re-lock the bootloader, after finishing the processes, my phone was restarted and I'm stuck in the bootloader logo of Huawei, I never step out of there. I wanted to enter the fastbot mode and I can not because it seems to be deleted, I do not know what happens because it does not enter the fastboot mode and only reboots again, nor do I have access to the normal recovery. I tried to use the volume method up + down and power button using the UPDATE.APP but there are no such methods, the phone is apparently clean. it only stays in the logo.
I took him to the technician and he told me to communicate to the support of Huawei because he did not know what to do, I would appreciate too much to help me please, because nowhere do I find something and you are the maximum.
thankfully
Updated thread title and moved to P9 Q&A. Hope this gets you the answers you're looking for.
There are good and proven tutorials here on XDA (XDA has its own search), not sure what did you find and follw from YouTube ( was it for proper cust, proper case of going back from root or custom ROM and which one to stock and which stock build, etc)
To unbrick, you have three options:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/sho...08&postcount=7
- free method but AFAIK it requires Fastboot working
Paid solutions:

Hello friend, thank you for answering, what I did was the following https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s9BZuywrRAw I had the original rom of android 7 and I got the update through the B398 ota but I had root and twrp, I wanted to leave everything in the factory by removing the twrp and replacing it with the huawei recovery and removing the root. When it was restarted, it never came back and I do not understand why I do not have a fastboot or recovery mode.
Thank you
It is not enough to say EVA-L09 and b398.
You must know what was exactly your original stock ROM (before you rooted), like was it EVA-L09c432b397 or what.
Then, there is very simple method to go back to the stock ROM you started from, say to c432b397, wherefrom you would then be able to accept OTA to b398...
It's all about flashing the correct HWOTA package through TWRP, and you would be back to your unrooted stock and back to your stock recovery:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=74913874&postcount=3
Unfortunately, now after the YouTube, you have no Androud, no TWRP, no fastboot...
Btw, unlocked Bootloader does not prevent OTA updates. It was only neederd to unroot and then to go back to stock recovery - both you simply get just by flashing the right HWOTA package.
Alternatively, you could have to unroot (SuperSU has its own option to remove root, for Magisk there is a ZIP package to uninstall Magisk), and to flash the original stock recovery - and you would be clean to accept OTA (although with Bootloader still unlocked).
