Anyone know how to turn of this notification? I've tried silencing/blocking the notification but it comes back every so often. I've also tried disabling dictation on keyboard in Bixby settings. I don't want to disable Bixby or Samsung Keyboard. Thanks
Go to Bixby screen and the three dot menu at the top right. Settings > turn on Dictation on Keyboard and viola. It was showing for me when I had it turned off. Hasn't popped up in 3 weeks since I turned it on in the settings.
I normally have that on, I only tried turning it off to see if the notification stops. It's on now & I just got that notification again yesterday.
At least it doesn't pop up daily, it's very seldom but still annoying.

question, i've got a 6515 and it keeps powering itself on. when i turn it off (with the on switch), it automatically powers on after a few minutes. this drains my battery within 18 hours since the pda function is activated (back light and screen comes on). it keeps powering on automatically every time i turn it off. i disabled all connectivity (no sim present, bluetooth of. so both are disabled). i disabled the gps download applet, so it cannot automatically download. i disabled the active sync setting (After setting it to manually and unchecked all the peaktime settings). i also tried to reflash my current rom (the latest), but it keeps powering on? i also took out all the memory cards and there are no third party applications installed (just did a hard reset). any help is appreciated, or else i will throw the thing out of the window (then i know for sure it will never turn on again)!
mine did the same thing for a while and it was related to activesync and blutooth ativesync. no idea what fixed it tho. sorry
Disable Hardware Buttons
Have you tried to disable the hardware buttons to see if it maybe a button that is getting pressed. To disable them hit Start, goto Settings, tap Buttons, tap the Lock tab, then put a check in the "Disable all buttons except power button" box.
I've searched a bit, but not able to find much... Sometimes when daydream kicks on (currently set to 'Clock-Night Mode' and 'while charging') the back and home buttons (sometimes just the back button only) are lit. The buttons being lit doesn't happen EVERYTIME, but often. And, I've not figured out any sort of pattern as to why (I first thought it was a new notification had been triggered {Nope.} or the battery was fully charged {Nope.}).
Any ideas? Running standard OTA 5.0.1, rooted.

So, I was yesterday using my phone and everything was OK. This day, I charged my phone because it was dead and couple mins later I turned it on. I unlocked it, everything looked OK, but I discovered some weird things. My recent apps and home buttons aren't working. When I press recent apps button it lits up but it doesn't do anything. Back button works. Then I saw that there are no notifications in the status bar(I have Kaspersky antivirus so there had to be its notification). And then when I swiped down to check notifications, I tried pressing settings, date and show more buttons, they didn't work either. I pressed power button to restart and in that box airplane and emergency modes buttons are not there. Plus, when I close my S View thing, there's no ...(more) and camera buttons.
Yesterday, I was looking at activities(using Nova launcher and adding a widget for activity) and tried couple, so I think I made something there bad.
My phone is G800F running Stock 4.4.2 without root. No viruses on my device.

This question is solved by myself.
I solved it!
What I did was I went to the Nova Launcher settings and then I changed default launcher to Touchwiz. After it turned on, I got everything that wasn't working now working!
On my Verizon Galaxy S6 edge, after updating to marshmallow I later got a notification to be able to change different settings based on where I am. I experimented with it and set my phone to automatically turn wifi off, put phone on vibrate, and go into power saving mode when I get to work. I also set it up to turn the ring on and exit power saving mode when I get home. I forgot to set wifi to turn on and have tried unsuccessfully to find the settings for this feature. It's getting annoying and I have no idea how to turn it off. I'm a fairly advanced user of android and have had several rooted phones with custom ROMs in the past, but I'm stumped at this. I've looked through both phone and Google settings with no luck. I also can't find any info on the Web when I search. Has anyone else had this notification pop up and does anyone know where I can go back to adjust the settings?
Widgets?
This same issue has been driving me mad ever since I upgraded to Marshmallow. I was presented with a seemingly useful feature to enable (or disable) features based upon my location - I chose to disable Bluetooth when at home, as I never use it there, right? Wrong! Turns out I use it more than I thought and it's incredibly frustrating when it keeps disabling itself at will!
Anyway, after much annoyance and weeks of trawling through every conceivable phone setting and Google option I finally stumbled upon the solution...in widgets!
Touch and hold any blank area on your home screen, select widgets and look for 'my places'. In there you will be able to find every single option that you wish to undo
Hey guys.
Running the latest version of Android Auto on my LG G4.
If have an issue regarding screen timeout.
Under Options i have set the timeout to leave it in when power is connected.
In most times i doesnt have power connected, so the display shuts off after the timeout -> OK.
When ill have it switched on (with DT2W or power button) and hit the microphone icon on the right upper corner, google voice command popup is activated and i can speak my command.
Ex.: i want to send a whatsapp message, speak my message, it responses with the message i have spoken, and bam display shuts off during it reads back my message !??!
Is this a known issue?
thx
