I can't find dual capture mode on my Note 8. Can anyone help, have solution or experience same situation? Thanks
you could download it from APKMirrior website
https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsu...lease/dual-camera-4-002-android-apk-download/
Thanks, but this isn't exactly what I am searching for , I already have it. Dual capture give you 2 photos with one shoot. You don't have to choose between lenses. And it seems I finally got it under life focus. Super

Hey everyone! Coming from an HTC One M8 here to the Note 3 and I am glad I switched. However, one feature i do miss is the slow shutter speed in order to produce long exposure shots and light trails. I saw that someone said it's possible (dev from Aliance Rom) but he isnt online and I could imagine he gets multiple questions. Can anyone tell me how can i achieve this? This is from the m8 http://dl-1.va.us.xda-developers.co....jpg?key=6qExAo120vihbinnhriAMw&ts=1408631840
I already tried FV 5 cam and Lensx and they both took terrible shots so I am trying to find an alternative. Is there a way of doing it from the stock cam?
Hey everyone,
this a hybrid Note 4/Google Photos question. If this isnt an appropriate place to ask, I understand and this post can be locked.
I recently came from the Note 3, which I loved in every respect except build quality. I had a buddy of mine looking to upgrade to the Note 4 as well, and was asking me to take some sample pictures to see what they look like. Well, I took a picture of some droid mini figures on my desk at work, and noticed something very very odd.
In the Google Photos app, which I have used exclusively on the Note 3 for all my gallery needs, the images are very noticeably softer/blurrier than in the stock Gallery app. I have tried taking multiple pictures, screenshots, etc, and everything in Photos is much more blurry than Gallery. Does anyone know why this is?? Is it a Note issue? A T-Mo default settings issue? I cant find any sharpening default settings in the Photos app.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks
I think samsung gallery automatically applies sharpening filter. Transfer picture to computer and examine it in 1:1 zoom to make sure you like quality.

Its deceitful, the picture quality doesn't transfer to computer. I hate Samsung's camera
Just in case some of you didn't know yet, the portrait mode on google camera from pixel 2 did work on my device which is S6 edge plus, since it has the same exynos as the note 5 and the s6's, it should work for you guys too:

The hdr+ kinda buggy for me though:silly:
Portrait mode works flawlesly
Is root required?
Nope no root required...works also on stock
Does anynodys have tested the options...if you start the bullettime the app crashes...
A little update... google "celsoazevedo com" and take a look at the dev IDan...his mods a really working good
I bought the note 8 one week ago and today i started exploring the camera app and... Nothing
No function, no 240fps for video, no camera function like panoramic photos, only live focus
I had the galaxy s7 before and it had way more functions, where are them?
I probably can't find them but i searched everywhere
You can download them, I guess it is for not overloading the phones with modes that the user does not want

Sorry to break it to you, but the S7 had more modes. Even after I downloaded extra ones from Samsung's website.
Even the effects are less, example one could increase an effect between the scales of 1-100% , that option doesn't even exist on the Note 8.
Edit. With effects I'm referring to vignet, starlight etc ...

I ran into a similar issue as well. If it still does it in safe mode then I'd do a warranty claim.

I've read on another page that a man go to samsung services center to replace camera and 1 week later, issue came again like a charm so i think this issue related to update version of note 9 on Oct. I'm dowloading an older version to test
A person on here a few months back posted a video with the same issue, wavey pictures when recording while zooming in. Defective unit.
