Galaxy Note 2 - keyboard / keyboard case?

Does anyone know of a keyboard / keyboard case for the Galaxy Note 2?
There are some nice ones available for the Note 10.1 and I think there were some for the Note 1....I know it would be small, but just for typing bigger docs one would be useful......a Google search does not reveal much?

Not sure about a specific keyboard and case for the Note 2 specifically, but check out this Coldfustion vid on the keyboard he uses for the Note 1. I want one.....

Go look for the Rii Touch 330. I just ordered one via Amazon. It's quite an amazing little fella...

I'm curious about this as well. The only thing keeping me from upgrading to this device is the lack of a physical qwerty. I see there are a TON of iPhone slideout cases, any chance the Note II gets one? And I'm not talking the clamshell like ones, I want an exposed screen with a slideout keyboard. Just praying one comes out.

Anyone find something? I am holding out on buying the phone only because I need to find a very good physical keyboard solution, ideally slider, but even a good keyboard case.

want one too but a sleek one. portrait slider woukd be interesting as an option. I have seen some neat ones for iPhone 4.
remaining slim is important on a large device..
that woukd be for every moment typing.
if it also had a stand it would be interesting.
AND a nice full size foldable/slidable set for roaming productivity would be great.
what I do hope is not to see any huge cases like seen on alibaba for the note 1...pretty pointless.. then a separate foldable like the old nokia su w8 or freedom or maybe a flex keys butbfoldable would be a good companion

Seems like it would need to be wider in order to hold it effectively as a single unit, but if this is some real solution that exists now, I would buy it!

It is handmade. When anybody like to see more pics, i can show you some.

What are you using to connect it?

bluetooth,
and it works fine so now. I use it since one day, keyboard is in Standby and works in the same moment when i slide it out. i heard that the battery works only 3-4h but today by less using my battery is still working.

i have take a ¨protective cover +¨ and then i take a keymate from iphone and cut everything that seems like iphone. then i taped it for a first look, and then i have screw it and glue it.

Cool. I have very limited vision. So, I knew I wouldn't be able to do it anyway. I was just curious. I am really anxious for there to be a product solution that can be used for it.

bluetooth KB with case for note II

I haven't yet bought a note II (budget constraints), but if you have already done so, and are interested in this case with bluetooth keyboard, I'd greatly appreciate it if you let me know how you like it. nfc is on but unresponsive

As the title says nfc is on but dont seem to work? I have tried another phone to check to see if it was my ONE and the pair passed data fine.
Please if any one has an idea on what im doing wrong im willing to listen?
Reading the reviews linked here i see a lot of bias against this handset/ shame really as most of them either havent used a ONE or are talking out their arse.
The phone experience with the exception of this issue has had only one other issue the back button does not respond i have read about it here and wait to see what happens?
The overall experience has been very positive in my opinion?

No problems here. Nfc is around camera lens. So this is the area you have to bring closer to other phones Nfc or Nfc tag or ...

Yes. Also, the NFC works only when the device is on and unlocked.

Means not on lock screen. So screen on and sense home screen on display.

Tried everything, thanks for the responses, but seems like after a factory reset all is well?

Mine doesn't work either. When I turn on my NFC, I don't even see that "N" logo on my menu bar like in this pic

Mine don't show that icon either but the NFC works now?

I have found that the NFC on the HTC one is not as responsive as other phones, (probably due to metal back).
I have found that this causes issues with certain NFC devices do not work.
so far it have found it works ok when using nfc to use android beam to another device BUT it is unable to read certain NFC devices, in Hong Kong we have Octopus nfc cards for public transport,they even released an app so you can check the balance on the card. I have tested and Xperia Z and Nexus 4 can read my card ok, but the HTC One cannot read the card, i can feel the small vibrations on the htc which shows it starts to detect the card but never manages to properly read it.

I've preordered it and it'll arrive this Friday and I'll claim the free watch and wireless charger too. I'm gonna enjoy the device for as long as I can, but in all honesty if I miss root too much then I'll sell it all and switch (from my current pixel 2 xl) to either the 6T or Pixel 3 xl. I'm very curious of the 6T, I know it will have amazing rom development which is a big thing for me normally, but also the camera may not be as good (though the Google cam port may solve that!). And the Pixel 3 xl doesn't seem like much of an upgrade from the 2 XL, so hell I may even end up just getting the 2 XL back again lol

Yup. The mate 20 pro is an expensive phone so think it will hold its value for at least a year so plenty of time to sell on.

.... If I even wait that long haha I reckon I'll give it a month or 2 and hopefully we'll here about root, as if not and if I'm not happy enough and other devices sway me ill jump ship lol

I'm the same but I don't like to step backwards so wouldn't go for the pixel 2 XL again. The OnePlus 6t will be decent but the not as good screen and camera always hold me back. And the 3 XL which although is a great phone I hate the notch and 4gb ram and a few other things are disappointing. It will hard be after having the mate 20 pro which has so many things to go back to something with less lol. But yeah emui isnt my favourite but if we can at least root and debloat it I'm happy. Same with my Samsung tablet (not really a Sammy fan) I can at least have root and disable all the bloat

Very good points.
Plus if we can root and possible twrp, then maybe if/when xposed comes to Pie then I'd settle for now custom roms

Yeah exactly. Although I will always flash a rom I'm not as fussed as I use to be, ROMs are great but think stock is very good these days on my most phones . Shame I will never get to see DU PIE on the pixel 2. But at least root is a must, don't use xposed haha. Just order the same film screen protectors as you and a spigen style case from eBay, want to be prepared. The glass protectors might be useless and don't want to be without one

I'll miss some things though, like adding extra buttons to the navbar and extra functionality (I have an additional power button there that turns the screen off with a tap, shows the power menu on long press and double tap takes a screenshot) plus I love having long press back button to kill apps, but perhaps with a gesture app I can replace such things

Yeah I like expanded desktop mode and some of the extra qs tiles

is there an update about a working way to root for 20 pro available?

I thought this phone can't rooted due to the locked bootloader and no way to unlock it as Huawei no longer offer that service.

Anyone tried to use google to find the solution???

And, did you follow what your link states and have your M20Pro unrooted successfully ? I doubt it because it links to the Huawei Unlock-request page that no longer exists

Hi all. You could unlock your bootloader at link below for $55. Then, you could root via ADB command. Problem solve. Suppport all latest model. Hope this helpful.

If the unlock bootloader option under developer tools is greyed out there is currently no way to unlock the bootloader even if you get a code from funkyhuawei - and they mention this on their page as well. So if you want to loose 55$ feel free and do so.

My bad. Just wanna help out. I didnt know about the greyed unlock bootloader. Just verified it and yea, greyed out. I guess anyone got a huawei phone without greyed one could try out that website.

Cod mobile input lag

Hi all
I have a question regarding COD Mobile with Mi 9T Pro.
The issue i experience is that the touch input at some locations of the screen seems to be inconsistent. For example running, looking around and shooting works perfectly fine. These "buttons" are located somwhere in the middle of the screen. However all the buttons that are located at the lower end (landscape) of the screen seem to be hit and miss. I sometimes need to press up to 3 times until the action is activated.
Now im wondering if this is phone related or a COD mobile issue. Does anyone else have this issue?
Btw i had this issue on stock and on custom roms.

Yes, i have one installed. Actually I can not with complete certainty tell you if i had the same issue already before applying the protector.
But in general use i do not experience any touch issues outside of the game.
Do you think it might be worthwile to remove and retest?

i am also having the same thing, when i want to start a match with right thumb( on right corner)- it exhibits that touch issue, but while playing it doesnt.. i need to touch 3-4 times to Start
for reference i have - glazed tempered glass, Indian variant

I have the same issue. my friend has the same issue.
Multiple other k20p users have the same issue in the same place. So have others with other phones as well.
(None of us use a screen protector)
It's a COD issue. It's not optimised for some phone screens.

Hi... Try this... In settings -> Special features -> Game turbo -> settings -> additional settings -> call of duty -> touch resistant area (set it to none)...

Question Where can I get cheap small knock-off S Pens for this phone?

Just search for GALAXY NOTE S PEN and chose the one with the highest rating. I would assume the note 20 edition with a 4.9 score would be good but it might as well be just the same as every previous note pen.
I have tried an original note 9 pen and it works flawlessly.
Bear in mind that buying the cheapest product with a lower score might not be great as the S pen might have low sensitivity. Back in the note 5 days I got me a cheap Chinese knock-off and although it worked, I had to press a bit harder on the screen than I should have had to.

Just 5 minutes ago I went onto Ebay and found a samsung pen for a note 4, for like $2. I'm going to try it and throw it away if it doesn't work well.
The trick was choosing an ugly color that nobody wanted, in my case "coffee" color I guess is not very popular, but the price changed for that color only, the other colors were like $6.
I'm hoping to use this as a temporary thing until Samsung releases the fancy full featured pen.
